Obama-Hater Angelina Jolie Explodes, Utterly Humiliates Obama for the Whole World to See

Obama-Hater Angelina Jolie Explodes, Utterly Humiliates Obama for the Whole World to See:

"During an appearance before the U.K.’s House of Lords on Tuesday, Hollywood actress and human rights advocate Angelina Jolie spoke out about how Islamic State group militants use sexual violence as a means to perpetuate terrorism — and about how we need strong leadership (unlike that of President Barack Obama) to overcome this threat.

Jolie’s excoriating speech laid bare just how anemic and pitiful Obama’s response to ISIS has been, and how ISIS is being allowed to build a society based on rape, violence, and of course Shariah law."

Starving college students: Sacramento State latest public university to open campus food pantry

Starving college students: Sacramento State latest public university to open campus food pantry - The College Fix:
"Estimates put number of campus food pantries at 200 and growing
SACRAMENTO – Students living on ramen at California State University Sacramento have been thrown a lifeline – the student government recently opened a pantry on campus that offers food, beverages and toiletries to any student, no questions asked.
“We just want to make sure that every student who has a need has somewhere to go,” said Jake Eres, the pantry’s coordinator, adding it’s confidential to prevent any stigma students may face for seeking help.
The pantry was prompted by what’s called “food insecurity” by campus leaders.
A student, for whatever reason, does not have regular access to adequate or healthy meals.
It’s a situation that may affect up to 10 percent of students – on a campus the size of Sacramento State, that could be as many as 2,900 people facing hunger on a daily basis, campus leaders say.
...And Sacramento State is not alone. According to an April 2015 report in The Wall Street Journal, food pantries began to appear on college campuses after the 2007 recession hit, and today more than 200 U.S. colleges, mostly public institutions, have one..."

There Are No Words To Describe Men Like This WWII Veteran

There Are No Words To Describe Men Like This WWII Veteran - World War Wings:
"Lets Spread The Word And Keep These Stories Alive As Long As We Can
William Yepes is one of those resilient men who fought hard during World War II and lived to tell about it.
Not only that, he’ll tell you some stories at the tender age of 91 and you don’t want to miss it. Enlisting in 1943 at the age of 21, he was assigned to Queen Mary, a B-17 he’d be in for all of his 28 missions.
With that much exposure to bombing raids, he’s more than lucky to have come back.
During World War II, an astounding 24,000 airmen lost their lives in B-17s alone.
The story you’re about to hear was made possible by the Liberty Foundation.
Based in Claremore, Ok, this foundation have the famous Memphis Belle on their tarmac, although it is important to mention it is not the original World War II Memphis Belle.
It is however the same B-17 that played the Memphis Belle in the 90s movie by the same name.
The most fantastic fact about this whole experience is that William Yepes did fly alongside the crew that operated the original Memphis Belle.
Now that’s a story worth sharing!"

Ted Cruz: ‘People Will Die’ if Iran Deal Passes | TheBlaze.com

Ted Cruz: ‘People Will Die’ if Iran Deal Passes | TheBlaze.com:

"Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz flatly warned Wednesday that ”people will die” if the Iran deal passes.

“People will die,” Cruz said during a rally against the deal on Capitol Hill. “Americans will die. Israelis will die. Europeans will die. Osama bin Laden never had $100 billion. He was filled with bilious hatred and, using rudimentary tools, murdered 3,000 Americans.”

But Cruz said the deal grants Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, “a theocratical homicidal maniac who hates America every bit as much as bin Laden did,” more than $100 billion as a result of the deal."

Feds spend $371,538 to study health effects of ‘microaggressions’ on bisexual women

Feds spend $371,538 to study health effects of ‘microaggressions’ on bisexual women - EAGnews.org:
"DEKALB, Ill. – Despite a $18.3 trillion federal debt, U.S. taxpayers are paying for research to determine the health effects of so-called “microaggressions” on bisexual women.
“The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between microaggressions and mental health among racially diverse bisexual women,” Wendy Bostwick, associate professor of nursing and health studies at Northern Illinois University tells the Northern Star.
“I am also one of the first people to ever get an (National Institutes of Health) grant to specifically look at the mental health of bisexual identified women.”
NIH will be paying $371,538 for Bostwick to conduct the study, which will consist of analyzing 125 women from the Chicago area.
“Study participants will fill out a survey each day for 28 days. Questions will include whether they experienced microaggressions that day, as well as questions about substance abuse, moods and other life factors,” NIU Today reports.
The Northern Star describes “microaggressions” as “comments, slights or insults that are related to an aspect of someone’s identity and occur in daily life” that are related to one’s “gender, race or ethnicity.”
...According to NIU Today, “The NIH recognizes the importance of Bostwick’s work” because of the $371,538 to fund the study."

Paid Obamacare Enrollment Declines Once Again

Paid Obamacare Enrollment Declines Once Again | Somewhat Reasonable:
"The number of Americans insured by Obamacare health care plans nationally dropped to less than 10 million at the start of this summer, according to figures from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
As of June 30, just 9.9 million people were paying for coverage they purchased through government-run Obamacare health insurance marketplaces, or “exchanges,” the federal government revealed this week.
The decline is similar to a drop in enrollments seen last year, which was the first year in which people had the option to purchase the restrictive Obamacare health insurance, said to be more limited than Medicare or Medicaid.
The new totals are down from the 10.2 million “paying Obamacare customers” reported as of late March.
A total of 11.7 million people signed up for coverage as of February, when open enrollment in the plans ended for this year."

Brilliant!-----Trump calls on CNN to donate debate money to veterans

Trump calls on CNN to donate debate money to veterans | TheHill
"Donald Trump is putting his mouth where CNN’s money is, demanding that all profits from the broadcast of next week’s GOP debate go to veterans.
Following news that CNN has been capitalizing on Trump-mania by raising ad prices for the Sept. 16 debate to 40 times their normal rate, the GOP front-runner sent a letter to the news network’s president, Jeff Zucker, to insist that he share the wealth.
“While I refuse to brag,” Trump writes, “this tremendous increase in viewer interest and advertising is due 100% to ‘Donald J. Trump..."

"While on a state visit to Great Britain on Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to a threat issued by Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The Ayatollah tweeted earlier in the day that Israel need not worry about how it fares in the nuclear agreement because it will not be around much longer."

Obama's america.......Anarchists Savagely Attack Air Force Officer With Mace

Anarchists Savagely Attack Air Force Officer With Mace | The Daily Caller:
"Police in Washington state are searching for two anarchists who attacked an Air Force officer with mace and a baseball bat after a protest got out of hand.
During the protest Sept. 5, the officer was forced to stop his motorcycle by a group of anarchists, Air Force Times reports.
Upon seeing that there were two confederate flags on his motorcycle, two men dressed in black and camouflage clothing jumped forward and sprayed the officer in the face with mace.
They also used a baseball bat to hit him in the back.
A bystander tried to intervene and help the officer, but the bystander was also sprayed with mace.
The name of the officer, who is a pilot from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, is not being released at this time.
He suffered eye irritation and bruises on his shoulder and back from the baseball bat.
The so-called peaceful protest also resulted in major damage to city hall in Olympia, Wash.
Olympia police stated that while people have the right to speech under the First Amendment, the message of hatred spread at the event lead to violence against person and property."

Agents say just 40 percent of U.S.-Mexico border under control

Agents say just 40 percent of U.S.-Mexico border under control - Washington Times
Less than half of the U.S.-Mexico border is under “operational control” at this point, the chief of the Border Patrol agents testified to Congress Thursday, detailing the porous situation and violent conditions in the southwest.
Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, also said one out of every five illegal immigrants agents caught along the border in 2014 had a criminal record, which helps explain some of the violence that occurs.
All told, 91,000 criminal aliens caught by the Border Patrol were deported last year, compared to about 486,000 total illegal immigrants caught.
Nearly half of the criminal aliens deported had aggravated felonies on their records, Mr. Judd testified to the House Oversight Committee.
“This is the challenge we are facing at the border today.
There are those who will point to lower apprehension rates and tell you the border is secure.
Border Patrol agents, however, throughout this nation will tell you the border is not secure and the southwest border certainly is not safe.”
Asked by Chairman Jason Chaffetz, Utah Republican, how much of the border is under “operational control,” meaning the government is poised to deter or apprehend illegal entries, Robert L. Harris, director of Customs and Border Protection’s joint task force in charge of combating border violence, said he couldn’t answer.
But Mr. Judd said based on what he hears from his union’s line agents across the border, “I would say we would be lucky if we’re 40 percent.”

They've already mismanaged it....What could possibly go wrong?-----Grand Rapids to bet $2.8M in city money on golf business

Grand Rapids to bet $2.8M in city money on golf business | MLive.com
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – "Indian Trails Golf Course will have to boost business by at least 2,000 rounds per year and generate upward of $100,000 annually from a new driving range in order to make ends meet and fund ongoing repair costs, according to city projections.
Despite a skeptical eye from both First Ward representatives, the Grand Rapids City Commission on Tuesday, Sept. 8, voted 5-2 to spend $2.8 million from a pot of income-tax revenue on a practice range and a list of neglected maintenance at the city-owned golf course.
Construction is scheduled to start this fall on the project that will eliminate two existing holes and add several new ones.
"The alternative, to continue to allow it to bleed red ink, is not a good alternative," Mayor George Heartwell said.
...The 18-hole, par-68 course continued to lose money until the last two years, when it has made a slight profit.
However, the city has not addressed necessary maintenance, administrators said.
"The infrastructure of this course is so brittle it's going to break in the near future and then parts of the course are going to die," clubhouse manager Lance Climie said.
...Several area golf courses have closed in recent years.
In many cases, like at the former Summergreen Golf Links in Hudsonville, courses are being converted to housing..."

Abortion Survivors Call for Defunding Planned Parenthood on Capitol Hill | TheBlaze.com

Abortion Survivors Call for Defunding Planned Parenthood on Capitol Hill | TheBlaze.com:

"The first congressional hearing about the undercover Planned Parenthood videos grew fiery Wednesday as two survivors of late-term abortions spoke out against federal tax dollars going to fund the nation’s largest abortion provider.

“Do not tell me these are not children. A heartbeat proves that. So do I,” Gianna Jessen, an abortion survivor from Franklin, Tennessee, who said her biological mother tried to abort her at seven months, told the House Judiciary Committee."

Hmmmmm-------Surprised that Syrian refugees have smartphones? Sorry to break this to you, but you're an idiot

Surprised that Syrian refugees have smartphones? Sorry to break this to you, but you're an idiot - Comment - Voices - The Independent:
"“Hey, those people fleeing war in Syria aren’t poor at all!
Look, they all have smartphones!” is one increasingly tedious complaint that has been bubbling away on social media recently.
Owning a mobile phone, it seems, should render one ineligible for help when trying to stop yourself and your family from dying in a war.
... just weeks ago the anti-immigration brigade were complaining that migrants are unskilled and just want our benefits.
And now they’re arguing that migrants are too wealthy instead, implicitly arguing we should prioritise helping the poor.
But in any case, it does raise an interesting question:
Exactly how surprised should we be that people from Syria carry smartphones?
Syria is not a rich country, but it is not a poor country either: it ranks as a “lower middle income” according to the World Bank.
In 2007 (the last year stats for both were available) Syria had a Gross National Income (GNI) per capita of $1850 which is more than Egypt at the time, which was only at $1620. Mobile phone penetration is similarly high in Syria as Egypt too.
According to the CIA World Factbook in 2014 Syria had 87 mobile phones per 100 of the population, compared to Egypt’s 110 per 100 (the UK has 123 per 100 people)."

LIBERTY REVIEW

LIBERTY REVIEW:

http://www.libertyreview76.blogspot.com/2015/09/the-old-republic-by-tammy-derouin-i.html

The Old Republic

By Tammy Derouin

I recently shared a classic movie saga with my girls.  They loved it too!  I will never forget all the excitement which surrounded its release and the release of the original sequels.  The special effects alone were ground breaking.  The characters ranged from humans to droids to an amazing assortment of aliens.  The timeless story of good versus evil was uniquely told in a way which captivated the world.  Good versus evil was transparently clear… “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.”

What was it that captivated us?  Why were theatres packed?  Why did the crowds cheer?  When you remove the special effects and the odd looking characters, what you are left with is the rock solid truth.  Good will destroy evil.  It will take time and it will not be easy.  The farther down the dark path one travels, the longer it will take to right one’s self.  Immediate redemption is possible if one is willing to self-sacrifice.

Turning to the dark side may at first seem like an easier path.  But, benefits and rewards are obtained by causing death and destruction.  Your freedoms and individual liberties are extinguished as you tether yourself to an all-powerful central government.  The ruling party hunts down and destroys all evidence of the guardians of freedom.  Their weapon is fear.  They terrorize and attempt to destroy those who oppose their will.

When you live in a land of men rather than a land of laws, the ruling party or ruling man decides your fate.  Death is the penalty if you disappoint, disagree or stand in the way.  The accuser is the judge, jury and executioner.  You have no recourse.  You are at their mercy once the Old Republic has been destroyed...

Why does Germany want so many refugees?

Why does Germany want so many refugees? | Power Line:
"German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said that Germany will take 800,000 refugees this year and 500,000 annually over the next several years.
Merkel no doubt will receive acclaim for humanitarianism, while nations that balk at taking refugees will be denounced.
I don’t doubt that there is a humanitarian component to Merkel’s decision, and in some respects her willingness to take in so many refugees is a feel good story.
But keep in mind that Germany has an economic interest in bringing in young workers, and that this interest isn’t mirrored in many other EU member states.
Germany faces a severe labor shortage, both short-term and long-term.
A study by the Robert Bosch foundation suggested that Germany’s workforce could shrink by about 6 million by 2030.
The main cause of the labor shortage is, as one would expect, population decline. This summer, the Telegraph reported:
Germany’s birth rate has collapsed to the lowest level in the world and its workforce will start plunging at a faster rate than Japan’s by the early 2020s, seriously threatening the long-term viability of Europe’s leading economy.
A study by the World Economy Institute in Hamburg (HWWI) found that the average number of births per 1,000 population dropped to 8.2 over the five years from 2008 to 2013, further compounding a demographic crisis already in the pipeline. Even Japan did slightly better at 8.4.
“No other industrial country is deteriorating at this speed despite the strong influx of young migrant workers. Germany cannot continue to be a dynamic business hub in the long-run without a strong jobs market,” warned the institute. . . .
The German government expects the population to shrink from 81m to 67m by 2060 as depressed pockets of the former East Germany go into “decline spirals” where shops, doctors’ practices, and public transport start to shut down, causing yet more people to leave in a vicious circle.
Population decline in Europe isn’t confined to Germany.
As the Telegraph suggests, however, Germany represents a special case..."
