Muslim Leader Demands that Western Countries Allow Muslim Child Brides because “It’s Part of their Culture”! - Eagle Rising

Muslim Leader Demands that Western Countries Allow Muslim Child Brides because “It’s Part of their Culture”! - Eagle Rising:

You see, in much of the Islamic world, it is acceptable for an older man to marry a child if the family is willing. Now Muslim religious leaders are demanding that the Western nations that they are invading also allow Muslim men to marry children! In Denmark, the government has already allowed girls as young as 14 to marry older men, even though the legal age of consent there is 15. However, even this is not enough for the Muslim invaders, as they would like the “freedom” to force marriage on girls who are even younger!

Danish Muslim leader, Imam Oussama El-Saadi told the Metroxpress that:

“One should look at these cases from a different perspective. It is an extraordinary humanitarian situation,"

FBI video?!!-----‘I am a radicalised goat hell-bent on jihad’ – the FBI’s new anti-Isis video game

‘I am a radicalised goat hell-bent on jihad’ – the FBI’s new anti-Isis video game | Technology | The Guardian:

I’m a susceptible goat speeding down the path to Islamic extremism, but first I must negotiate the green-and-grey blocks of infidel propaganda.
No, wait; I’m a radicalised goat, hell-bent on jihad, but my extremist beliefs are threatened by green-and-grey blocks of debate.
Or could it be that I’m trying to master the FBI’s virtually unplayable – it’s almost as infuriating as Flappy Bird – new online anti-extremism game, which involves manoeuvring a wayward goat through a sub-Minecraft-style obstacle course whose metaphorical intent is all but unfathomable?
The game, entitled Slippery Slope, is supposed to educate impressionable kids on “the distorted logic of blame that can lead a person into violent extremism”, but it’s also indicative of how clueless governments can be when it comes to reaching out to the kids
Slippery Slope is part of an online initiative launched by the FBI called Don’t Be a Puppet: Pull Back the Curtain on Violent Extremism, which uses games and quizzes to inform young people about radicalisation.
As the title suggests, there are more metaphors to unmangle here: a wooden mannequin bound by strings, for example, which you can free by visiting all the site’s sections.
These are rendered as rooms of a confusing family home, which appears to contain a dingy, windowless lecture room and a serial-killer basement.
“We want teens to apply their critical thinking skills to this issue,” says an FBI spokesman. Gaming sites have done just that.
“The FBI made a video game and it sucks,” declared Kotaku
“Everything about this site screams awful, out-of-touch 90s educational game,”complained Gizmodo..."

Five Years of Gas Can Hell! - Jeffrey Tucker - Liberty.me

Five Years of Gas Can Hell! - Jeffrey Tucker - Liberty.me:
"It happened again but to tell the story I have to admit something a bit embarrassing.
My gas meter on my car doesn’t work.
I could get it fixed but it seems like a waste when I only need to calculate gas use carefully.
I don’t always, which means I sometimes just run out, at inconvenient times.
This happened yesterday, so I had to get a can of gas from the local car shop.
I started to pour it in.
But, hmmm, this is strange.
The nozzle doesn’t quite go in.
I tilted it up and tried to jam it in.
I waited.
Then I noticed gas pouring all down the side of the car.
So I pulled it out and experimented by pouring it on the ground.
There was some weird contraption on the outside and it wasn’t clear how it worked.
I poured more and more on the ground.
Some got on my shoe.
Some got on my hands.
Some got on my suit.
Gas was everywhere really — everywhere but in the tank.
It was a gassy mess.
If someone had lit a match, I would have been a goner.
...Then government “fixed” the gas can.
Why?
Because of the environmental hazards that come with spilled gas.
You read that right.
In other words, the very opposite resulted.
Now you cannot buy a decent can anywhere.
You can look forever and not find a new one.
Instead you have to go to garage sales.
But actually people hoard old cans.
There is a burgeoning market in kits to fix the can..."

Poetic Juctice? Obama Was 1st US President To Vote To Filibuster A Supreme Court Nominee

Poetic Juctice? Obama Was 1st US President To Vote To Filibuster A Supreme Court Nominee:

"In 2006, while no doubt starting to lay his eyes on a presidential run, then-Sen. Obama had no problem throwing a wrench in the works of democracy by voting to filibuster George Bush’s nominee to the high court, Samuel Alito.

Obama told George Stephanopoulos on ABC News This Week that he would “be supporting the filibuster because I think Judge Alito, in fact, is somebody who is contrary to core American values, not just liberal values, you know. When you look at his decisions in particular during times of war, we need a court that is independent and is going to provide some check on the executive branch, and he has not shown himself willing to do that repeatedly.”

Perfect! Obama Moves Tractor Factory to Cuba

Perfect! Obama Moves Tractor Factory to Cuba - The Gateway Pundit
"The Obama administration approved the first U.S. factory to be built and operated in Cuba in more than 50 years, in the latest sign of the rapidly changing relationship between the United States and the communist nation.
Cleber LLC, an Alabama-based company that builds tractors for small farms, was notified by the Treasury Department that it could open a facility in Cuba.
Co-founder Saul Berenthal said the company’s attorney was in Havana on Monday to start the lengthy process of finalizing the agreement with the Cuban government and hopes to start production by early 2017.
Berenthal said he was proud to get the approval, but it means even more for the future relationship between the Cold War foes.
“Being first is great,” he said. “But for certain, we should not be the only ones. We’re hoping and expecting many more will follow.”
A U.S. business operating in Cuba is possible because of sweeping changes made by President Obama since his Dec. 17, 2014, announcement that the long-time enemies would re-establish diplomatic relations.
Since then, embassies have reopened in Washington and Havana, and diplomats and business people have flooded Cuba.

Politics: NAACP requires photo ID to attend anti voter ID protest march

Politics: NAACP requires photo ID to attend anti voter ID protest march | Best of Cain
"...Obviously these laws are extremely racist.
Requiring minority voters to show ID to cast a ballot is, clearly, a way for old white men to oppress them.
So, as usual, the NAACP has been foaming at the mouth as it continues its completely genuine, not-at-all-phony, struggle for "equality."
Each year the civil rights watchdogs hold a so-called "Moral March on Raleigh."
The annual event is designed to protest any laws that Republicans may have passed during the preceding 12 months.
This year’s march took place this weekend, and it focused extensively on the Voter ID regs.
So, what did you need if you wanted to attend?
Yup, that's right.
You needed to have a "driver's license, passport, or other valid Photo ID" if you wanted to protest the evil Republican scheme to make sure you to have a "driver's license, passport, or other valid photo ID" in order to vote.
That is the liberal progressive mind in action.
Aren't these the very same people who are constantly making the argument that poor, uneducated, minority voters can't get a photo ID due to the deplorable conditions into which our "downright mean" country has forced them?
Isn't the NAACP disenfranchising would-be marchers by stripping them of their 1st Amendment rights?
More importantly, if they're required to bring a photo ID to the protest march they should already have one when the elections roll around. Doesn't that negate the point of holding the march in the first place?
Remember everyone:
The NAACP thinks you're more than capable of getting a photo ID to attend their rally, but they think it's an insurmountable hardship for you to get one in order to vote.
We'd like to congratulate the usually obtuse NAACP for so openly destroying its own arguments. Hopefully they'll do it more often.
When they do the heavy lifting, it makes our jobs just that much easier.
Be sure to "like" Robert Laurie over on Facebook and follow him on Twitter.
You'll be glad you did."

SOCIALISM: PROTECTED BY THE CONNECTED AT THE EXPENSE OF THE POOR AND THE MIDDLE CLASS. AS USUAL. Venezuela Burns as Court Entrenches Gridlock.
The Venezuelan Supreme Court late this week ruled in favor of the country’s President, Nicolas Maduro, in his dispute with Venezuela’s National Assembly over a move Maduro made last month to increase his control of the country’s finances and economy. . . .

On Friday, the opposition’s leader Henry Ramos announced that he would announce concrete steps for setting up a referendum to remove the “national disgrace that is the government” in the coming days. The opposition had previously said that it planned to call a referendum within six months, but on Friday Ramos said that six months would clearly be too long. Maduro told his supporters “not to underestimate the threats Henry Ramos made today against peace and stability of the Republic.” No one should underestimate the chances for political violence erupting in the coming weeks and months.
To be fair, Venezuela’s “leaders” should have been hanging from lampposts years ago.

20 Face-Melting Quotes from Late Justice Antonin Scalia Will Make You Miss Him Even More

20 Face-Melting Quotes from Late Justice Antonin Scalia Will Make You Miss Him Even More:
WASHINGTON - JUNE 07: Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia listens to remarks after participating in the swearing in of new Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne on the South Lawn of the White House June 7, 2006 in Washington, DC. Kempthorne succeeds Gale Norton, who stepped down in March. Kempthorne faces some opposition from Senate Democrats after saying he supports an expansion of oil and gas drilling in public lands and waters. Justice Antonin Scalia passed away Friday at the age of 79. The conservative-leaning, Reagan appointed Justice was famous for his dry, blistering dissents and firm commitment to Constitutional originalism. Scalia, who was educated at Harvard Law and was a practicing Roman Catholic, did not mince words on the following hot-button issues:

On Constitutional Flexibility

That’s the argument of flexibility and it goes something like this: The Constitution is over 200 years old and societies change. It has to change with society, like a living organism, or it will become brittle and break. But you would have to be an idiot to believe that. The Constitution is not a living organism, it is a legal document. It says something and doesn’t say other things.

Peyton Manning’s squeaky-clean image was built on lies

KING: Peyton Manning’s squeaky-clean image was built on lies - NY Daily News:
Thirteen years ago, USA Today obtained 74 pages of explosive court documents on Peyton Manning, Archie Manning, the University of Tennessee, and Florida Southern College that revealed allegations of a sexual-assault scandal, cover up, and smear campaign of the victim that was so deep, so widespread and so ugly that it would've rocked the American sports world to its core.
Yet USA Today never released those documents for reasons I can't explain.
Mel Antonen, now a baseball writer for Sports Illustrated, wrote about the documents for the paper on Nov. 3, 2003.
Three days later, Christine Brennan, longtime sportswriter for USA Today wrote an op-ed about Peyton Manning and the documents entitled, “Do you really know your sports hero?” but the scandal pretty much died right there.
Facebook wouldn’t be invented for three more months. Twitter didn’t come for three more years.
The word “viral” was still only being used to describe the spread of infectious diseases.
But when the documents were sent to me on Tuesday, two days after the Super Bowl, it was immediately clear to me that had the world actually known what they contained, it’s doubtful that Peyton would have ever been the “swell, golly, gee-whiz” pitchman for Nationwide Insurance, DirecTV or Papa John’s Pizza.
...Less than 24 hours later, a source who claimed to see my article on the racial double standard, sent me a 74-page court document from Polk County court in Florida.
Sitting in the San Francisco airport, waiting for a flight home, I opened the PDF, began reading, and felt like I had stumbled on to state secrets.
I literally moved to where nobody could see my computer screen.
...This document says, in essence, that it's all a facade, an act, a well-designed for-profit creation, maintained and manicured at all cost.
For me, it was like reading proof that the first Apollo moon landing was really a fictional tale filmed in a Hollywood studio designed to dupe us all.
That flag, planted in the moon, seemingly blowing in the wind, was a ruse after all.
Maybe B.o.B. was right on this one fact.
I read every single page in the airport before I boarded my flight.
Maybe a good hundred times, I wondered to myself, Why — and how — had all of this been kept secret for so long?
Titled "Facts of the Case," and submitted to the court by the plaintiff's lawyers, the document, which warrants many more takes and reflections than what I will offer today, is simultaneously shocking, disgusting, painful, and infuriating.
It offers us the living, breathing human names and faces of the individuals the American sports machine is willing to mow down in the name of profit and fame..."

A No-Fly Zone Over Parts Of Syria?

JustOneMinute: A No-Fly Zone Over Parts Of Syria?
"First, the good news - with the new deferred limited cessation of some hostilities deal reached in Munich, critics of the appeasement of dictators can still say "No More Munichs" without having to specify either 1938 or 2016.
I think it is obvious that Putin has taken Obama's measure and concluded that he does not have the stomach (or other anatomy further south) for a confrontation in Syria.
We aren't going to have boots on the ground occupying restive Sunni areas, and we will have only limited Special Ops sneakers on the ground.
...Christopher Harmer also identifies some disturbing potential plot twists.
For example:
In an attempt to fracture NATO, Russia could instigate some type of minor offensive action by Syria against Turkey.
If Turkey invoked Article Five of the North Atlantic Treaty, calling on all members of NATO to react to an attack against Turkey, individual NATO members could claim that Turkish participation in a No-Fly Zone not specifically authorized by the UN was responsible for the reaction by Syria, and therefore Article Five does not apply.
This potential effort to fracture NATO in this context would represent a continuation of the anti NATO, anti EU policies that President Putin has pursued throughout his time in power.
Hmm..."

Ted Cruz Says Second Amendment Will Be ‘Written Out of the Constitution’ If Any of These Presidential Candidates Are Elected | Video | TheBlaze.com:

"Following the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz said the 2016 election should be a “referendum” on the nation’s highest court.

The Texas senator told NBC’s Chuck Todd Sunday morning that he is looking forward to debating either of the Democratic presidential contenders on the future of the Supreme Court. However, according to Cruz, it isn’t just the two Democrats who could immeasurably alter the interpretation of the Constitution, in particular when it comes to gun rights."

Troops betrayed as Army dumps hundreds of heroic war dogs

Troops betrayed as Army dumps hundreds of heroic war dogs | New York Post:
....Bullets were coming closer now; the enemy had long ago picked up on how important the dogs were to the Americans, how successful they were at sniffing out bombs.
“I know there were three separate incidents where they shot at Oogie,” Daniel says.
And as he lay on top of his dog, he stroked him and whispered and kept him calm.

...In September 2012, Daniel and about 18 other soldiers boarded a flight back to North Carolina; their deployment was over.
Waiting on the tarmac were employees from a North Carolina-based company, K2 Solutions, which had the government contract for the dogs.
Within moments of deplaning, the handlers got to pat their dogs on the head, say their goodbyes, then watch as the dogs — and all their equipment, down to their shredded leashes — were boarded on a truck and driven away.
“It’s a bunch of infantry guys, and no one wants to be the first to start crying,” Daniel says.
“But it didn’t take long.
There wasn’t a dry eye.”
Daniel got Oogie’s paw print tattooed on his chest
The only solace these soldiers had was the knowledge that they could apply to adopt their dogs, and that the passage of Robby’s Law in November 2000 would protect that right.
More than three years later, Daniel still doesn’t have Oogie.
The dog has vanished.
Daniel, who doesn’t want to use his real name because he’s on active duty, is one of at least 200 military handlers whose dogs were secretly dumped out to civilians by K2 Solutions in February 2014, a Post investigation has found.
At least three government workers were also involved and may have taken dogs for themselves.
It’s a scandal that continues to this day, with hundreds of handlers still searching for their dogs — and the Army, the Pentagon and K2 Solutions covering up what happened, and what may still be happening..."

The Lights Go Out In Bernie Sanders’ Utopia, Venezuela

The Lights Go Out In Bernie Sanders’ Utopia, Venezuela | Power Line:
"Venezuela’s slide into poverty and chaos continues.
The country’s socialist government is now rationing electricity to shopping centers.
They will have to close for portions of the day unless they can generate their own power.
But they can’t generate their own power, due to the government’s strict currency controls that prevent them from obtaining foreign currency that would allow them to buy the necessary equipment.
That’s life under socialism, every time.
Someone tell Bernie!
Better yet, tell a journalist who moderates one of the Democrats’ debates.
Don’t you think a real reporter would want to ask Bernie what he makes of Venezuela?
After all, the country has, as the linked article notes, “the world’s largest known oil reserves,” yet Venezuelans can’t buy toilet paper, let alone food.
Does this perhaps tell us something about Sanders’ preferred economic system?
Then there is the violence:
Venezuela has a sky-high homicide rate of 58 deaths per 100,000 people, around 15 times the U.S. rate.
Funny thing, Venezuela also has strict gun control laws, including a ban on private ownership of firearms, the American gun-grabber’s Holy Grail.
But that doesn’t seem to do any good. Just one more thing a debate moderator might want to bring up, assuming of course that the debate moderator is a Republican.
But the Democrats aren’t dumb enough to recruit their enemies to moderate their debates."

Company discovers man’s six-year absence from work after trying to give him award

Company discovers man’s six-year absence from work after trying to give him award | CBS 4 - Indianapolis News, Weather, Traffic and Sports | WTTV:
A company discovered an employee’s six-year absence after trying to give him an award.
According to The Guardian, Joaquin Garcia, 69, began working for the Spanish local authority in Cadiz in 1990.
In 1996, he was sent to work for the local water board, Agua de Cadiz; his job was to oversee a waste water treatment plant.
He was paid €37,000 a year before taxes by the company.
In 2010, Garcia became eligible to receive a long service award.
Deputy mayor Jorge Blas Fernández says Garcia was still on the payroll, but when he went to look for Garcia, he was nowhere to be found.
The man who occupied the office next to Garcia said he hadn’t seen the employee in several years.
Fernández called Garcia into work and asked where he had been.
“I asked him: what are you doing?
What did you do yesterday?
And the previous month?
He could not answer,” Fernández told The Guardian.
That is when Fernández discovered Garcia had not occupied the office for at least six years, and he had done no work between 2007 and 2010.
Apparently the confusion occurred because the water company thought he was being supervised by the local authorities and vice versa.
This week a court fined Garcia €27,000 ($30,000), which is the equivalent of one year of his annual salary after taxes.
Garcia is trying to fight the fine, and he told the court he visited the office occasionally, but he didn’t keep regular business hours.
He said he was bullied at work because of his family’s socialist politics."

Road To World War III: Turkish Army Enters Syria After Second Day Of Shelling As Saudi Warplanes Arrive | Zero Hedge:
"The Syrian government says Turkish forces were believed to be among 100 gunmen it said entered Syria on Saturday accompanied by 12 pick-up trucks mounted with heavy machine guns, in an ongoing supply operation to insurgents fighting Damascus,Reuters reports. "The operation of supplying ammunition and weapons is continuing via the Bab al-Salama crossing to the Syrian area of Azaz," the Assad government says.
Meanwhile, since all that would take to unleash a full-blown war is for some Russian to be unexpectedly blown up, events like this do not inspire much confidence in the Syrian "ceasefire":
On Saturday, the geopolitical world was shocked when Turkey began shelling Aleppo, where the Syrian opposition has its back against the wall in the face of an aggressive advance by Hezbollah and the IRGC supported, of course, by Russian airstrikes.
To be sure, everyone knew Ankara and Riyadh would have to do something quick if they wanted to preserve the rebellion.
Their proxies are being rolled up rapidly by Hassan Nasrallah’s army and Vladimir Putin’s air force juggernaut.
But few expected the escalation would come so quickly..."
