(5) Janet Shagam - " In Minneapolis, a student carrying a Trump flag...:
"In Minneapolis, a student carrying a Trump flag was violently attacked outside a high school where a walkout was taking place.
In Tennessee, students tore down an American flag and jumped on a police car.
These ugly scenes from the latest cultural revolution are the work of activists posing as teachers.
It’s not just high school students being dragged out to protest against the Bill of Rights.
Elementary school students are the next frontier for exploitative organizers.
Even kindergarteners aren’t off limits.
The plan is to have children as young as 5 years old take part in the walkouts.
The Wall Street Journal reports that schools are “finding ways for children who are too little to be told about school shootings to take part.”
And teachers who offer more than one perspective on the protests are being punished.
In Rocklin, California, a high school history teacher who asked students to discuss whether it’s appropriate for schools to support this protest over other protests, was told not to come in the next day."...

It’s time to protect our kids from classroom organizers.

IRS documented 1.3M cases of identity thefts by illegal aliens, can’t confirm single prosecution
"...The Internal Revenue Service may not be, according to a CNS News investigation.
Image result for identity thefts by illegal aliensThe online news outlet reported that in a five year period, 2011 through 2016, more than 1.3 million cases of identity theft were documented by the IRS involving illegal aliens who had been issued Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers.
...When asked by CNS News how many of the 1.3 million documented cases had been referred for criminal prosecution, the agency couldn’t say if it had referred even one of these cases.
But that’s not the worst of it.
The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), which oversees the IRS, discovered approximately 1.2 million cases in 2017 alone of an illegal alien working in the U.S. who had filed a tax return reporting wages earned while using a Social Security Number that belonged to someone else or was fabricated, CNS News reported.
In either case, it would constitute a felony, according to the Social Security Act..."

Los Alamitos may reject California sanctuary law - Washington Times:

Image result for flickr commons images california flag"The federal government may soon get an ally in its battle with California over its sanctuary laws.
According to a report in the Orange County Register, the city of Los Alamitos will vote Monday on a ordinance to exempt itself from SB54 (aka the California Values Act), which limits cooperation between law enforcement and immigration authorities.
The ordinance says the state’s sanctuary law violates the U.S. Constitution and thus the council “finds that it is impossible to honor our oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States” if the state law applies in the city."

Discipline Quotas: The Obama Administration’s Evil Lives On | Power Line

Discipline Quotas: The Obama Administration’s Evil Lives On | Power Line
"In 2014, the Obama administration promulgated a “guidance” to America’s public schools that threatened federal investigations and litigation against schools where black students are disciplined (e.g., by suspension) more often, on a pro rata basis, than white students, on the ground that such numerical discrepancy is evidence of discrimination
Many schools responded by adopting discipline quotas, which meant in practice that after a certain number of students of a particular race had been suspended, teachers and administrators were helpless to enforce any kind of discipline in classrooms.
The Obama administration is gone, thankfully, but its “guidance” has not been revoked.
Meanwhile, state governments and federal courts that are in liberal hands have taken up the claim that disparate incidence of discipline must be discriminatory, a theory that flies in the face of common observation that misbehavior in school is not randomly distributed in the student population.
In Minnesota, the Department of Human Rights has reportedly sent letters to 43 school districts and charter schools, telling them that they are under investigation because of racial disparities in discipline.
There is an added Orwellian element in that news of the letters has leaked out, but no one knows what 43 school districts have gotten the letters, or what the letters say.
Under Minnesota law, it apparently is difficult if not impossible for the public to get that information.
So the far-left administration of trust fund billionaire Mark Dayton is able to bully school districts in the shadows, without public knowledge or recourse..."

Here are five of the key-findings from the Mirror's 18-month investigation:"

Last living MOH recipient from Iwo Jima offers graveside salute to 'guardian angel' | American Military News

Last living MOH recipient from Iwo Jima offers graveside salute to 'guardian angel' | American Military News:
"Seventy-three years ago on the island of Iwo Jima, Hershel “Woody” Williams randomly chose several fellow Marines to give him rifle cover as he made a one-man charge with his flamethrower against a network of Japanese pillboxes.
He spent four hours unleashing flames into the pillboxes that had stymied advance for days, racing back to the Marine Corps lines to refuel the flamethrower, and then running again into battle — all while covered by only four riflemen.
Williams was ultimately awarded the Medal of Honor on Feb. 23, 1945, for “conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty,” as the official citation describes it.
He “daringly went forward alone to attempt the reduction of devastating machinegun fire” coming out of reinforced concrete pillboxes, on which bazooka and mortar rounds had no effect.
...Two of the Marines covering Williams died that day, but he never knew their names, and never knew where their remains rested until just a few months ago.
Image result for Iwo Jima;On Saturday, Williams, with the Medal of Honor hanging around his neck, stood over the Hawaii grave of Charles Fischer, one of those “guardian angels” who helped him survive that day and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, nicknamed the Punchbowl.
He saluted the Marine, who died a private first class that day, and then slowly bent down and placed a purple lei upon his headstone.
“I have always said I’m just the caretaker of it,” Williams said later of the Medal of Honor.
“It belongs to them. They sacrificed for it. I didn’t.”
Twenty-seven Medals of Honor were awarded to men who fought on Iwo Jima; Williams is the last still alive...."

University canceled conference because every speaker was white - The College Fix

University canceled conference because every speaker was white - The College Fix
"Nearly thirty white female speakers deemed not ‘diverse’ enough
St. Catherine University recently canceled a one-day conference designed to equip and empower women for leadership roles due to the fact that every speaker scheduled to appear was white.
In particular, the line-up consisted of attractive white women mostly in their middle ages with blond or brown hair.
The College Fix reached out to about a dozen of the speakers slated to present at the conference, and they all refused to comment on the cancellation.
See the source image“The Leadership Imperative: Rise to Your Purpose” was intended to “equip both emerging and seasoned female professionals with the tools they need to become impactful, respected leaders,” according to the conference website.
It was originally scheduled for Jan. 19 at the St. Paul, Minn.-based school, a private Catholic institution with a women-only undergrad program.
But the event was canceled several weeks prior, with university officials stating in an email to speakers the decision was made because the lineup did “not reflect the diverse St. Kate’s community of today nor the world of tomorrow we are committed to creating,” Minnesota Republic reported.
The email reportedly added that the credentials of the speakers is strong but organizers were concerned that selecting quality speakers “led to a racial and ethnic blind outcome.”..."

NRA's Gun Violence Restraining Order Support: A Good Move | National Review

NRA's Gun Violence Restraining Order Support: A Good Move | National Review:

Image result for flickr commons images nra logo"A gun-violence restraining order (GVRO) is a remarkably simple and precisely targeted remedy for two forms of gun violence — mass shootings and suicides. As Chris Cox explains, it allows a defined group of people (usually family members, school principals, employers) to petition a local court for an order temporarily removing guns from a person who’s made statements or exhibited behavior indicating they’re a threat to themselves or others.
To be constitutional, a GVRO should require that the petitioners (those seeking the order) come forward with admissible evidence, it should grant the gun owner a prompt hearing, and it should provide a right of appeal. The best GVRO statutes will be drafted with the help and cooperation of the NRA, which will ensure that the statutes aren’t overbroad and will minimize the chances of abuse."

Don Surber: Why the press defends McCabe's crime

Don Surber: Why the press defends McCabe's crime:
"Lying to the FBI is a crime.
Andrew McCabe lied to the FBI even as he was the agency's deputy director.
Ithis cost him his job as deputy director of the FBI.
In a just world, prosecutors would indict him just as they did Martha Stewart (and others).
We shall see how just America is.
But we know our media is not worthy of a great nation because most of the scribes would be more comfortable working under a Soviet system where they could protect the state.
Which is why they protect McCabe.
See the source imageIdeology and partisanship have little to do with this because this is all about money and power too. McCabe put in motion the Russian dossier fable, which has meant billions to CNN, MSNBC, and others.
They promote this lie because it keeps their audiences up, and those audiences have filled their coffers with record high subscription fees.
...You see, reporters protect sources at all costs because as I said, billions are at stake.
They are no more interested in the truth than the Easter bunny is.
...The press loves the deep state.
...If he were a Trump supporter, the press would be all over McCabe because his wife received $700,000 from a Clinton crony while McCabe headed the FBI's Fake Investigation of Hillary.
But he does not face the music.
He is a source.
And the press defends its sources no matter how much they lie.
After all, billions are at stake."

Open Season on College Presidents As Faculty ‘Mobs’ Wield Power | Minding The Campus

Open Season on College Presidents As Faculty ‘Mobs’ Wield Power | Minding The Campus
"The no-confidence season for college presidents got off to an early start this spring with a nay vote from the Michigan State faculty for the university’s interim president and the entire Board of Trustees in the wake of the Larry Nassar sexual abuse scandal.
Starting with the angry rebellion against Harvard president Lawrence Summers in 2005, faculties have been increasingly willing to mobilize to bring down senior-level administrators.
Summers was targeted after he suggested at an academic conference that innate male-female differences might possibly provide a partial explanation why mathematics and engineering faculties remain so heavily male.
Image result for campus protest mobsWhile there was no evidence of discrimination in hiring, Harvard’s hastily formed Caucus for Gender Equality charged Summers with failing to hire enough female professors, and Summers retracted his suggestion and issued what The Atlantic’s Stuart Taylor, Jr. called a “groveling Soviet show trial style apology.”
A short time later Summers resigned.
Sometimes faculty-led protests, what social scientists call “mobbings,” can have deadly consequences.
In 2006, UC Santa Cruz chancellor Denise Denton leaped to her death from a 42-story San Francisco high rise in the wake of a well-orchestrated attack by the Santa Cruz faculty that included death threats, harassment, vandalism and a hostile media campaign.
At the height of the protests, someone threw a large metal pole through a window in Denton’s home, shattering glass throughout her living room.
The San Francisco Chronicle noted that Denton, who had received a doctorate in electrical engineering from MIT and won a prestigious national award for encouraging women and girls in science had “very high standards…she expected people to perform.”...

This trap was set well before Trump won - Washington Times

This trap was set well before Trump won - Washington Times:

Image result for flickr commons images Washington DC"Through a combination of representative democracy and a balancing of state power against federal power, we the people pick our president.
Unless, of course, the president we the people pick turns out to be a grave and odious threat to the powerful established bureaucracy in Washington that — like cancer itself — is entirely dedicated to its own preservation and spread.
And damn the innocent host! The more devastating the cancer is to the very body politic that gives it life, the better!
It is the truest form of injustice. Singular evil. Blind hatred.
So they changed the rules. We can pick our president. But then the powerful established bureaucracy must conduct a massive, sprawling, limitless investigation into any and all aspects of the president we pick."
