London's Mayor Declares Intense New 'Knife Control' Policies To Stop Epidemic Of Stabbings | Daily Wire

London's Mayor Declares Intense New 'Knife Control' Policies To Stop Epidemic Of Stabbings | Daily Wire:
"An epidemic of stabbings and acid attacks in London has gotten so bad that London mayor Sadiq Khan is announcing broad new "knife control" policies designed to keep these weapons of war out of the hands of Londoners looking to cause others harm...

...Strangely enough, Khan is responsible for decreasing the number of stop-and-searches, having previously declared the tactic racist and potentially Islamophobic.
It's also not clear what local Londoners will now use to cut their food..."

Addressing a huge crowd of supporters in Budapest on Thursday, Orbán used the speech to paint the upcoming vote as part of an existential battle for the survival of Hungary and Europe.
“Africa wants to kick down our door, and Brussels is not defending us,” Orbán told the crowds gathered outside the Hungarian parliament building in drizzling rain.
“Europe is under invasion already, and they are watching with their hands in the air...”

"PRE-DEMONIZATION OF CENTER-RIGHT MEDIA:
Much has been written about the MSM freakout regarding Sinclair here, and here
What’s happening is this is nothing more than a campaign from the left to demonize Sinclair so that readers avoid it, and more importantly, relegate it to their list of “must ignore” platforms, like InfoWars or GatewayPundit.
It’s a pre-emptive move to further control the narrative and censor by repudiation what you see and hear.

Two important facts (known in the media business but pointedly ignored) are first, CNN sells a service called CNN Newservice to stations around the country, and customers repeat CNN’s scripts verbatim. Conan O’Brien discovered this as a source of humor as long ago as 2013.

The second fact is that even on more “serious” matters, like editorials, The Fair Media Counsel reports an anecdote from a former Tribune (now “Tronc”) journalist:

Sinclair isn’t the only organization to do such a thing, but it is perhaps the most visible and unapologetic in its approach. In the not-so-obvious file was this personal experience: When the FCC was considering raising the ownership cap, all Tribune-owned newspapers were told to run an editorial in support of the action. (The same editorial, by the way.) I had written a letter to the editor in opposition of that point of view. My letter was rejected, with a brief explanation: Tribune was not allowing letters with opposing points of view on that particular subject.

It’s been abandoned in the culture wars.

That gets the purpose of those provisions fundamentally wrong.
The foreign emoluments clause and presidential compensation clause exist to keep certain federal officials from accepting compensation from states, Congress, or foreign nations, in exchange for favorable official treatment."

Farmers in South Africa claim they are being targeted in 'horrific' attacks | The Independent:
"White farmers in South Africa claim they are being targeted in a series of brutal attacks over land that are being overlooked by police and implicitly encouraged by the country’s parliament.
See the source imageActivist groups promoting the rights of white people in the country claim there have been 90 recorded attacks in 2018 so far, with one farmer murdered every five days on average.
There is no official data supporting the idea that white farmers are more likely to be victims of attacks in South Africa, and the government strongly denies white people are being deliberately targeted and says farm murders are part of South Africa’s wider violent crime problem.
But the sheer brutality of the reported attacks – and the growing anger of a community in South Africa that believes it is being persecuted – are increasingly raising concerns.
The Independent spoke to a woman who described how she was gang raped by three men who invaded her family home, and a man whose brother was gunned down at the age of 21 and said he believed race to be a factor in the killing.
Last month the South African parliament passed a motion saying it will consider amending the constitution to allow the government to seize farmland without providing compensation – a move which the white nationalist lobbying group AfriForum, claims “projected and exacerbated” the view that attacking white farmers is justified..."

America Is Still the Home of Innovation | The Heritage Foundation:

Image result for flickr commons images Moon landing"By contrast, in nations where liberty is curtailed or controlled by government, innovation is stymied. What innovations or inventions that we use today came from the old Soviet Union? From Cuba? Or North Korea?
It’s not out of line to say that the United States has directed the course of human history more significantly and positively than any other nation in the history of the world. The key to our success is, always has been and always will be our liberty. The liberty we enjoy unshackles the mind and nourishes creativity.
The ability to think and to question the status quo should also characterize our attitude toward government. Sadly, though, many Americans have come to regard the growing reach of Big Government as a necessity of modern life."

London Homeowner ARRESTED FOR MURDER After Killing Armed Burglar

See the source imageLondon Homeowner ARRESTED FOR MURDER After Killing Armed Burglar
"A 78-year-old homeowner in London has been arrested for murdering an armed burglar who attempted to steal from the older man.
The burglar was stabbed in the homeowner’s kitchen as a second thief fled, and later died at the hospital.
As violence surges across the pond in London, homeowners have had to take the defense of their lives and property into their own hands – but the UK government is punishing them for it.
According to The Daily Mail, a 78-year-old homeowner has been arrested by murder detectives after clashing with a suspected burglar who later died from a stab wound...
“What’s scary about London is the randomness of the crime,” said Jacob Whittingham, charity head of programs for Fight for Peace. “With young people in London, you have no idea if and when you may be the victim of a violent crime — that’s why they feel the need to carry weapons.”

Not to mention self-defense is a basic human right. Those who understand self-preservation want the best and most effective tool at hand to save their life. and those in the UK are being denied that fundamental right by the very law the government promised would protect them. –SHTFPlan.com
The police were called to a residential street in the suburb of Hither Green in the south-east London in the early hours of this morning after the pensioner reportedly found two men inside his home.
It was understood that the homeowner had been forced into his kitchen by a burglar armed with a screwdriver, where a struggle ensued
That struggle left one of the intruders bleeding from injuries to his upper body.
The suspected burglar, who was 38-year-old, was rushed to hospital but later died.
The 78-year-old homeowner was initially detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm but was later arrested on suspicion of murder.
The break-in comes amid a surge in violence in the capital, with 49 people already dead from violent attacks in London in 2018.
Last night’s death brings the toll to 50, as London’s violence surpasses New York City’s in a country where self-defense has been declared criminal..."

Reminder: The press blamed Christian conservatives for the Pulse nightclub shooting. It was a vicious smear.:
"The June 12, 2016, Pulse nightclub shooting is, among other things, a searing indictment of the national press’ eagerness to believe the absolute worst about the Right and about Christians in particular.
Image result for anti christian mediaIt was casually assumed that the gunman, Omar Mateen, targeted Pulse specifically because it was a gay bar.
But even more than that, his avowed Islamic State affiliation was overlooked so that certain reporters, pundits, and editorial boards (ahem, New York Times) could claim that the shooting was motivated by conservative U.S. politics and "an effort to approve discrimination against gay and transgender people nationwide under the guise of religious freedom."
So, this is how an Islamic terror attack was blamed on American conservatives and Christians.
...However, putting aside for a moment the obvious flaws in arguing that any evangelical conservative is somehow to blame for the actions of a Muslim man with whom he has never met or spoken, there is no evidence showing Mateen targeted Pulse because it was a gay bar.
And in fact, there never was any evidence of this, as the now-concluded trial of his wife demonstrated...
...“But if you want to know why American Christians sometimes feel as if they’re under siege, realize this — at the highest levels of media and in the complete absence of evidence, influential people tried to make the case that Christian and Republican ‘hate’ was partially responsible for the worst jihadist massacre since 9/11,” he added..."
