My Way - Sports News: "Spain could lose both its Formula One races following the racist taunting of driver Lewis Hamilton by spectators.
The sport's ruling body said Monday the abuse aimed at F1's first black driver during weekend testing at the Barcelona circuit might result in sanctions. Punishment could lead to the removal of two races from the Grand Prix calendar - the Spanish Grand Prix on April 27 in Barcelona and the European GP on Aug. 24 at Valencia.
FIA, the governing organization, said it will write to Spanish authorities to learn what happened before making a decision.
'Formula One is a global, multicultural sport,' FIA said. 'It does not have scenes like this in its history and doesn't want to see scenes like this.'"

They destroyed vegetation and disturbed habitat of nesting ospreys and other wildlife.
In addition to the jail time, District Judge Michael MacDonald ordered them to fix the damage and pay $2,655 in fines and court costs."

Power Line: Forcing Young People Into the System
Power Line: Forcing Young People Into the System: "Pizza Hut learned this a few years ago when it pioneered a program that made health insurance available to its part-time workers at remarkably advantageous rates. To the company's surprise, few of its part-time employees--fewer than ten percent, as I recall--signed up for the plan. Even at subsidized rates, the vast majority of young, single employees had no interest in spending money on health insurance.
Thus, the crocodile tears that are shed over 'the uninsured' are by no means entirely genuine. One of the basic purposes of just about anyone's 'health care plan' is to find a way to force those millions of young, single people to pay for the health care required by their elders."

Death Photo of War Reporter Pyle Found: "The figure in the photograph is clad in Army fatigues, boots and helmet, lying on his back in peaceful repose, folded hands holding a military cap. Except for a thin trickle of blood from the corner of his mouth, he could be asleep.
But he is not asleep; he is dead. And this is not just another fallen GI; it is Ernie Pyle, the most celebrated war correspondent of World War II."
