Paul Krugman Says Markets Will ‘Never’ Recover From Trump; Dow Hits Record High

Paul Krugman Says Markets Will ‘Never’ Recover From Trump; Dow Hits Record High – Blazing Cat Fur:
krugman"New York Times opinion writer and economist Paul Krugman predicted early Wednesday morning that the stock market will “never” recover from Donald Trump’s presidential victory, only to be proven spectacularly wrong in less than a day.
Instead of collapsing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged to an all-time high shortly before the closing bell.
FTSE 100 and other global shares soar after Donald Trump’s victory
The UK stock market rose sharply on Thursday morning, following those in Asia last night, as world economies seem to react favourably to the prospect of Donald Trump as the next president of the United states.
So much for the ‘Trump Slump’ the liberals were trying to push yesterday."

Hillary wins the popular vote – not

Blog: Hillary wins the popular vote – not:
"Okay, let’s address this “Hillary might win the popular vote, isn’t that Electoral College situation just awful” thing head on.
No, it’s not awful.
It’s great, and it protects the importance of your vote.
It’s also uniquely American and demonstrates yet again the once-in-creation brilliance of the Founding Fathers.
First of all, she’s probably not going to win the actual number of votes cast.
She may win the number of votes counted, but not the votes cast.
States don’t count their absentee ballots unless the number of outstanding absentee ballots is larger than the state margin of difference.
If there is a margin of 1,000 votes counted and there are 1,300 absentee ballots outstanding, then the state tabulates those.
If the number of outstanding absentee ballots wouldn’t influence the election results, then the absentee ballots aren’t counted.
Who votes by absentee ballot?
Students overseas, the military, businesspeople on trips, etc.
The historical breakout for absentee ballots is about 67-33% Republican.
In 2000, when Al Gore “won” the popular vote nationally by 500,000 votes and the liberal media screamed bloody murder, there were 2 million absentee ballots in California alone..."

And their test scores?-----Texas School Wastes $1.35M on Sports Jumbotron

Texas School Wastes $1.35M on Sports Jumbotron:
Image result for bread and circuses quote"Texans love high school football and pump exorbitant amounts of taxpayer dollars into funding NFL-style stadiums, but now one school boasts a brand new $1.35 million state-of-the-art jumbotron system, only it remains unclear how the district plans to pay for it.
Last weekend, Seguin High School unveiled the first of two high-definition LED screens at the 61-year-old Matador Stadium where they play five home games a year.
The jumbotron is a 1,403 square foot video display with a 16-foot by 4-foot timer.
The second 10-foot tall, 19-foot wide video screen, a “tailgate board,” will face the stadium parking lot.
The combined size of the two screens will result in a whopping 1,590 square feet of Friday night techno-lights and cost the district $1.35 million.
Seguin Independent School District Superintendent Stetson Roane defended the two screen system, although it remains unclear how they intend to finance it..."

Are You Suffering From Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder (TARD)?

Are You Suffering From Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder (TARD)?
Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder is a pattern of pathologically dissociative and psychotic behavior, first observed in the late hours of November 8th 2016, and increasing in severity with passing time.
Sufferers of Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder often exhibit pronounced cognitive dissonance, sudden bouts of rage, uncontrollable crying, suicidal ideation, and extreme sadness.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS:

  • People with Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder are characterized by a persistent unwillingness to accept that Donald Trump is going to Make America Great Again.
  • Individual sufferers often display signs of paranoia and delusion; in acute cases psychotic episodes have been observed...

Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder is different from being upset about the results of the 2016 presidential election;
People with TARD are unwilling or unable to accept reality, despite irrefutable evidence. According to the DSM-V, individuals with TARD exhibit most or all of the following symptoms:
- Telling others they are moving to Canada
- Fixated on fantasies about the Electoral College..
CAUSES AND MECHANISMS

  • Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder was directly caused by the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America.
  • For many, both in America and worldwide, this was a shocking and unexpected outcome; their preferred news sources having failed to inform them that the alternative candidate was a criminal parasite in such ill health she got chucked into the back of a van like a kidnap victim

Research is ongoing, but TARD appears to correlate closely with the following environmental and behavioral factors:
- Membership in the Democratic party
- Identifying as a Feminist
- Currently enrolled in college, and/or
- Possession of a Liberal Arts college degree
- Cuckoldry
- Living in a densely populated metropolitan area
- Massive student debt
- Spotty or non-existent work history - Hipsterism

LANDSLIDE: Trump 306 Electoral Votes vs 232 Clinton Electoral Votes - The Geller Report

LANDSLIDE: Trump 306 Electoral Votes vs 232 Clinton Electoral Votes - The Geller Report:

"All of this disproves the idea, which we and everyone else have espoused early and often, that Trump’s path to victory was narrow. It wasn’t. It was broad. We were wrong. The polls were wrong. We fundamentally misunderstood this election. We thought Hillary Clinton might be winning red states. But Donald Trump won blue states."

Chicago Police are investigating the beating of a 50-year-old man that was caught on video Wednesday afternoon in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side, while bystanders taunted him, saying he had voted for Donald Trump.

The victim told police he was beaten up after a traffic-related argument with three males and two females, police said.
One of the male suspects got in the man’s car and left the scene.
The victim was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
At least three males can be seen in the YouTube video repeatedly punching and kicking a man in a blue sweatshirt. In the background, a man and woman can be heard yelling.

Then: “Don’t vote Trump!”
Despite those taunts, and the YouTube video headline calling the victim a “Trump voter,” the police did not say how the victim actually voted in the presidential election..."

Assassination threats against Trump flood Twitter

Assassination threats against Trump flood Twitter | New York Post
The shock and anger over Donald Trump’s ascension to the White House has triggered a flood of calls on Twitter and other social media outlets for the president-elect to be assassinated — and authorities will investigate all threats deemed to be credible, The Post has learned.
...particularly Twitter, where a simple search can reveal dozens and dozens of calls to gun down the next leader of the free world.
Some posts called for both Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence to be assassinated, and there’s even an #AssassinateTrump hashtag.
“Trump chose the literal worst case scenario as VP so nobody would try to impeach or assassinate him,” one user posted on Twitter.
Another user wrote that the “only” remaining question after Tuesday’s historic and polarizing election is who will “assassinate” Trump, who will be inaugurated on Jan. 20.
Some users even cited that date as a deadline for the assassination.
Other postings called for users who used the inflammatory hashtag to be contacted by authorities.

There will be, because people have to die to make a change in this world,” she continued.
