Socialism: Venezuela's Minimum Wage Crashes to Under $4 per Month:

Despite dictator Nicolás Maduro’s five minimum wage hikes over the course of 2017, the monthly minimum wage of 177,507 bolivares is equivalent to $3.41, working out at just over two cents an hour, according to latest real value exchange rates."

Florida Appeals Court Upholds City's Veggie-Garden Ban - Reason.com
"Late last month, I had the opportunity to discuss my recent book, Biting the Hands that Feed Us: How Fewer, Smarter Laws Would Make Our Food System More Sustainable, before a Seattle-based group of family and consumer scientists, many of them retired.
During my talk, I focused in part on a series of city ordinances around the country that ban people from gardening in their own front yards.
Image result for Front Yard Vegetable GardenAs almost always happens, these particular laws, among the countless dozens I discuss in the book, raised the most ire among the audience:
"Why would any city do this?
How can a city do this?
I hope these people are fighting back!"
One of the most egregious examples I highlighted comes from an ongoing case in Miami Shores, Fla. There, Hermine Ricketts and her husband, Laurence Carroll, had kept a nicely manicured vegetable garden in their front yard for nearly two decades.
Then, in 2013, Miami Shores adopted an ordinance that banned vegetable gardens, and vowed to fine violators each day they failed to comply with the law.
The couple sued, arguing, as a local CBS affiliate put it, "that the ordinance ran afoul of the Florida Constitution, including that it violated their privacy rights and their right to acquire, possess and protect property."
Last year, a Florida state court upheld the vegetable-garden ban, on grounds that aesthetic reasons—the city thinks vegetables are ugly—are sufficient justification for a city to ban vegetable gardens..."

Name: "Sword of Islam"? Let Him In!
  • Even the craziest immigration systems dreamed up by European officials have not yet come up with something like America's "diversity visa" lottery, by which someone named "Sword of Islam" is promptly let into the country -- only then to mow people down in a New York bicycle lane.
  • Nearly 56,000 foreign nationals have disappeared from the radar of the British authorities after being told that they were required to leave the country.
  • Instead of looking warm and big-hearted, you begin to look as if you were just unforgivably lax with the security of your own citizens. So an entire political class has been.
"It is only eight weeks since an 18-year old Iraqi-born man walked onto the London Underground and left a bomb on the District line.
Fortunately for the rush-hour commuters and school children on that train, the detonating device went off without managing to set off the bomb itself.
Had the device worked, the many passengers who suffered life-changing burns would instead have been among many other people taken away in body bags.
Ahmed Hassan came to the UK illegally in 2015 and was subsequently provided with foster care by the British government.
He has now been charged, and is awaiting trial, for causing an explosion and attempted murder."

Janet Shagam - "James Clapper (ODNI), John Brennan (CIA) and James...:
"James Clapper (ODNI), John Brennan (CIA) and James Comey (FBI) were indeed political hacks.
The proof is in their own action:
Remember CIA Director John Brennan got caught, and later apologized, for using his agency to spy on congress (SEE HERE), for political purposes.
Then there’s the Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, who admitted to lying to congress (SEE HERE) for political purposes.
Lastly, FBI Director James Comey who admitted to leaking his memo content to the New York Times for political purposes.
Their admitted behavior.
Their admitted use of their intelligence positions for political reasons.
Political hacks.
So it doesn’t really come as a shock that this FBI report is pure nonsense.
But don’t take my word for it, read it yourself.
Here’s the “report“:"....

The allegations against Roy Moore | Power Line

Image result for search for truthThe allegations against Roy Moore | Power Line
"THE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST ROY MOORE
The Washington Post’s story about Roy Moore persuades me that, when he was in his early 30s, he liked to date teenage girls.
It does not persuade me that he engaged in inappropriate sexual touchings with the 14 year-old girl who claims he did.
There are three main reasons why.

  • First, the other teenagers the Post interviewed don’t allege inappropriate touchings. It seems likely that, if Moore inappropriately touched one teenager, he would have inappropriately touched others. Allegations that he did may surface, but so far they haven’t, to my knowledge.
  • Second, the alleged misconduct is from 38 years ago. Roy Moore has been a major and polarizing figure in Alabama politics for years. It seems likely that, if he committed the misconduct, the victim would have come forward before now.
  • Third, the accuser clearly has had a troubled life. She does not appear stable. I would not, for this reason alone, conclude that she probably is not telling the truth. But, for me, it reinforces this conclusion. The Post found four women whom Moore dated as teenagers. His conduct towards all four might well have been basically the same. The unstable woman of the four might well have embellished. I’m not saying she has. Her allegations may be true. But based on what has been reported so far, I think her most serious allegations — the ones that, if true, would constitute criminal conduct — are more likely false than true."

Target Set to Close Stores Across US -- Being Liberal Doesn't Pay:

Image result for flickr commons images Target Stores"Last year, retail giant Target angered conservatives with its transgender bathroom policy.

Customers boycotted the company and, as one would expect, sales plummeted and stock prices dropped. The retailer hoped to curb some of that frustration by adding a private, single-stall bathroom to every one of its facilities.

But it would appear that gesture was too little, too late."

Millennials Are Being Brainwashed To Oppose Capitalism and Support Communism - Their Favorite Leaders Are Kim Jong-Un and Stalin | The Daily Sheeple
Image result for lenin quote education"Despite the fact that capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other economic system ever created by man, millennials apparently want socialism or communism instead.
According to a recent study conducted by Victims of Communism Memorial Fund-YouGov, 44 percent of millennials say that they would rather live in a socialist country than a country that embraces free market capitalism, and an additional seven percent say they prefer to live under communism.

  • This means that more than half of today’s youth would rather live under socialism or communism instead of capitalism, a clear sign that the upcoming generation is becoming increasingly detached from America’s roots.
  • As if this wasn’t bad enough, 23 percent of Americans between the ages of 21 and 29 consider Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin to be a “hero,” 26 percent believe Vladimir Lenin was a hero, and 23 percent feel that Kim Jong Un of North Korea is a hero.

Additionally, “Millennials also named

  • Karl Marx (18 percent),
  • Che Guevara (26 percent),
  • Vladimir Lenin (17 percent),
  • Mao Zedong (16 percent), and
  • Nicolas Maduro (12 percent) as a personal hero, hero for their country, or hero to the world.”

In a press release, Victims of Communism executive director Marion Smith explained what the results of the survey mean for American society.
“Millennials are increasingly turning away from capitalism and toward socialism and even communism as a viable alternative,” Smith said.
