The Trump-Russia 'Dossier' Scandal Deepens | Stock News & Stock Market Analysis - IBD
"Election Meddling: With every new revelation, the "dossier" on President Trump, which got the entire Trump-Russia-collusion story going, looks more and more scandalous.
...And everything that we've learned since has seriously undermined its credibility, while raising troubling questions about how the FBI and the Justice Department under Obama used it.
The most explosive revelation was that the dossier was bought and paid for by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, a fact that the Clinton campaign took pains to hide, that Clinton officials lied about, and that Fusion GPS refused to reveal on its own.
It wasn't an intelligence report at all.
It was a political hit job paid for by Trump's opponent.
We also learned that, despite the dossier's highly dubious claims and its partisan provenance, the FBI under Obama embraced it.
In fact, just a few weeks before the election, the FBI tried to hire Christopher Steele to continue his work..."

UW-Madison quietly shelves controversial masculinity program
In January, Campus Reform reported on the school’s Men’s Project, which aimed to “explore masculinity and the problems accompanied by simplified definitions of it” and to “create a sense of security in vulnerability” among male students..."
- "The University of Wisconsin-Madison has confirmed that it has disbanded its "Men's Project," a program designed to teach “men-identified students” about the harms caused by traditional notions of masculinity.
- A UW spokesperson would not specify the reason for the program's termination, but did confirm that the school has no plans to convert it into a course for academic credit.

GUEST SLAMS CNN: ‘People Don’t Trust You Guys’ Because You Tell Them They Are Wrong, Stupid, And Racist | Daily Wire:
"Alabama talk radio host Dale Jackson ripped CNN and the rest of the mainstream media on Sunday during an episode of “Reliable Sources” with host Brian Stelter, as he explained why people do not trust the network.
During the segment, Stelter was trying to understand why people in Alabama were still supporting Roy Moore after explosive allegations published by The Washington Post several weeks ago.
“Why in the world would people believe the things that are said if it’s always negative over and over and over and over again?” Jackson said. “That weaponizes the term fake news.”"

Illinois Drives People Away - WSJ:
"If Republicans succeed in limiting the state-and-local tax deduction, one hope is that this could finally inspire a come-to-Jesus moment in prodigal high-tax states.
Democrats in Illinois ought to be especially chastened by new IRS data showing an acceleration of out-migration.
The Prairie State lost a record $4.75 billion in adjusted gross income to other states in the 2015 tax year, according to recently IRS data released.
That’s up from $3.4 billion in the prior year.

The Left’s War on Free Speech - Imprimis
The Left’s War on Free Speech - Imprimis:
"...Last fall, sitting around the dinner table, the twelve-year-old was doing a particularly good job at this with his youngest sister.
She finally grew so frustrated that she said, “Oliver, you need to stop talking—forever.”
This inspired a volley of protests about free speech rights, and ended with them yelling “shut up” at each other.
Desperate to stop the fighting and restore order, I asked each of them in turn to tell me what they thought “free speech” meant.
It was at this moment that I had one of those sudden insights as a parent.
I realized that my oldest was a constitutional conservative, my middle child a libertarian, and my youngest a socialist with totalitarian tendencies..."

- The twelve-year-old went first. A serious and academic child, he gave a textbook definition that included “Congress shall make no law,” an evocation of James Madison, a tutorial on the Bill of Rights, and warnings about “certain exceptions for public safety and libel.” I was happy to know the private-school fees were yielding something.
- The nine-year-old went next. A rebel convinced that everyone ignores her, she said that she had no idea what “public safety” or “libel” were, but that “it doesn’t matter, because free speech means there should never be any restrictions on anything that anybody says, anytime or anywhere.” She added that we could all start by listening more to what she says.
- Then it was the five-year-old’s turn. You could tell she’d been thinking hard about her answer. She fixed both her brother and sister with a ferocious stare and said: “Free speech is that you can say what you want—as long as I like it.”
It was at this moment that I had one of those sudden insights as a parent.
I realized that my oldest was a constitutional conservative, my middle child a libertarian, and my youngest a socialist with totalitarian tendencies..."

Obama's Odious Comparison Of The Weimar Republic To The USA Is Just Plain Wrong — And Lacks Self-Awareness | Daily Wire
Obama's Odious Comparison Of The Weimar Republic To The USA Is Just Plain Wrong — And Lacks Self-Awareness | Daily Wire:
"What strikes me about President Obama’s statement isn’t so much his lack of historical understanding (all one need do is peruse his remarks about past presidents from Washington to Hayes to realize how little he seems to know about the country he once led) but rather his utter lack of self-awareness about the sins of his own presidency. The irony of the warnings of a threat to democracy coming from him of all people is not lost on those who paid attention to his administration’s own bona fide assaults on freedom and civil rights . . . and were on the receiving end of them. Let us remember:"

North Korea: Starved To Death Prisoners' Bodies Fed To Dogs In Brutal Regime:
"As North Korea continues to violate human rights on almost every level, news is now surfacing that the tyrannical regime doesn’t just starve their political prisoners.
Kim Jong-Un’s brutal dictatorship also feeds the corpses of those starved to death to the dogs.
In difficult to hear testimony in front of United Nations, North Korean defector Ji Hyeon-A explained how government officials in the hermit kingdom beat her and fed her only rotten food.
Ji has escaped the regime three times now, and all three times, she said she was sent back to face horrific punishments in the impoverished nation..."

Florida Bill Would Make it a Crime to be the Victim of Auto Theft - Hit & Run : Reason.com
"Florida state Rep. Wengay Newton (D–St. Petersburg) is so tough on auto theft that he wants to punish the crime's victims as well.
Newton has introduced a bill that would make it a criminal offense to have your car stolen if you leave it unlocked with the keys inside.
His legislation would make this a second-degree misdemeanor; violators would face fines of up to $500 and jail time of up to 60 days.
...Not surprisingly, this proposal has prompted some pushback from people who say it's unfair to crime victims.
That includes a number of law enforcement officials..."

Banning dems from US cities would accomplish the same goal-----Politico Calls The Electoral College A National Security Threat
Politico Calls The Electoral College A National Security Threat:
"The American electoral college system should be abolished because it provides foreign nations with the opportunity to influence the outcomes of U.S. presidential elections, according to Politico.
The authors used Alexander Hamilton’s Federalist No. 68 to explain the Founding Fathers’ theory that the U.S. electoral college would protect the nation from “the desire in foreign powers to gain an improper ascendant in our councils.”
The story further argued that Hamilton and the other American forefathers could not have imagined, or prepared for, an election like 2016, thereby bolstering the claim that Russia “was able to manipulate America’s election process with stunning effectiveness.”..."

I'm a Pediatrician. Here's What I Did When a Little Boy Patient Said He Was a Girl.:
"“Congratulations, it’s a boy!” Or, “Congratulations, it’s a girl!”
As a pediatrician for nearly 20 years, that’s how many of my patient relationships began. Our bodies declare our sex.
Biological sex is not assigned. Sex is determined at conception by our DNA and is stamped into every cell of our bodies. Human sexuality is binary. You either have a normal Y chromosome, and develop into a male, or you don’t, and you will develop into a female. There are at least 6,500 genetic differences between men and women. Hormones and surgery cannot change this."

Bar association denounces recall effort against judge that issued Stanford rape sentence - The College Fix:

‘If judges fear direct, personal repercussions, the rule of law will suffer’
Now that a California appellate court has approved a ballot effort to go forward against Superior Court Judge Aaron Persky, who issued a six-month jail sentence to convicted Stanford University rapist Brock Turner, his local legal community is speaking out against the organized campaign against him.
...Santa Clara County Bar Association...After weighing the evidence, the board concluded there was “no credible assertion” that Persky’s sentence violated the law, that he “ignored any ethical obligations or acted in bad faith,” or that he had a “pattern of egregious conduct” that would justify his recall..
The organization noted that the California Commission on Judicial Performance, the independent state agency that investigations allegations against judges, voted unanimously to close its investigation into Persky at the preliminary stage a year ago – meaning there was no merit to the claims..."
