Pew: US media bias ranks worst in the world:
"More than in any other country, Americans on both sides of the political aisle believe the media does a poor job covering political issues fairly, according to a blockbuster new survey of media consumption in 38 nations.
What’s more, the Pew Research Center’s study found that supporters of President Trump believe the media is doing a worse job covering politics than the supporters of any of the other international political leaders in countries surveyed..."

Bill de Blasio divests New York pensions, sues oil companies for climate change - Washington Times

Bill de Blasio divests New York pensions, sues oil companies for climate change - Washington Times:

Image result for Wikicommons Images Bill de Blasio"Pushing back were oil-and-gas and industry representatives, who accused the mayor of doing more to curry favor with environmentalists than address human-caused global warming.
“This lawsuit is factually and legally meritless, and will do nothing to address the serious issue of climate change,” said Chevron spokesman Braden Reddall. “Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a global issue that requires global engagement. Should this litigation proceed, it will only serve special interests at the expense of broader policy, regulatory and economic priorities.”
The legal action comes on the heels of lawsuits filed in the last six months by seven California localities, including Oakland and San Francisco, demanding billions from oil companies in order to build higher seawalls and other climate-driven infrastructure projects."

LEAKED MEMO: DACA Recipients Are 'Critical' to Democrats' 'Future Electoral Success':
"A leaked memo reveals Democrats absolutely need DREAMers in order to have future electoral success.

Michael Bastasch of The Daily Caller reports:
The Center For American Progress (CAP) Action Fund circulated a memo on Monday calling illegal immigrants brought here at a young age — so-called “Dreamers” — a “critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success.” The memo, co-authored by former Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri, was sent around to allies calling on Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.”[…]“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” reads Palmieri’s memo, obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation..."

"...Emily Yoffe’s recent Atlantic series on rape investigations, on and off campus, shone a light on the alarming expansion of “trauma-informed” techniques, enthusiastically endorsed by the Obama administration and its Department of Education.
Image result for “trauma-informed” techniques,Memory and neuroscience experts told Yoffe there was little evidence backing these pseudoscientific claims – that sexual assault creates “neurobiological change,” induces “tonic immobility” in the victim during the act, represses memories that can be accurately recalled much later (just not immediately after), and that contradictory or changing narratives are actually evidence of assault..."

So how did the Trump administration do at fighting crime in 2017?
I only pay attention to homicide numbers, because other crimes can be ignored.
