FBI Spent $100k to Investigate Filmmaker Obama Didn't Like:

Image result for flickr commons images Dinesh D’Souza"There is no question that conservative political commentator Dinesh D’Souza is not a fan of former President Barack Obama, as he produced two highly critical films about him and his agenda — as well as one about Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party.

There is also little doubt that Obama is no fan of D’Souza. Now, questions have been raised as to whether the author and filmmaker was selectively targeted by the Obama administration for heavy-handed prosecution over a relatively minor campaign finance violation, according to The American Thinker.

Our readers may recall that D’Souza received a sentence of five years probation,"

Small modular nuclear reactors are a crucial technology, says report - physicsworld.com

Schematic of a small modular reactor designed by UK-based MoltexSmall modular nuclear reactors are a crucial technology, says report - physicsworld.com:
Small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs) offer a way for the UK to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from electricity generation, while allowing the country to meet the expected increase in demand for electricity from electric vehicles and other uses.
...SMRs are usually considered to have electrical outputs of about 300 MW or less.
...This, says Rooney, is unlike conventional large-scale power reactors, which have become more and more expensive over the years.
In his report he argues that SMRs offer a much more cost-effective way of generating electricity.
“Each unit would require a smaller investment than large reactors and their modular nature means that they can be built in a controlled factory environment where, with increased deployment, costs can be brought down over time through improved manufacturing processes and economies of volume,” writes Rooney..."

Donald Trump: Democrats obstruct Dreamers' amnesty for politics - Washington Times:

Image result for flickr commons images donald trump"President Trump said this weekend that he offered a “wonderful deal” to protect illegal immigrant Dreamers and that resistance among Democrats suggests the party would rather have a political issue than a solution.
Democrats have largely rejected the outlines of Mr. Trump’s proposal, saying that while the legalization of 1.8 million Dreamers was an important step, they would not agree to his plans for a border wall or to limiting the long chain of family migration.
The president is poised to deliver his plan to Capitol Hill this week and make his case directly to the public in his State of the Union address."

Judge to rule on transgender teen who wants hormone therapy
"CINCINNATI — An Ohio judge will decide next month whether to grant full custody to the grandparents of a transgender boy so he can pursue hormone therapy, which his parents oppose.
...The now-17-year-old wants to transition in gender, but prosecutors say his parents deny he is transgender and have refused services from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Instead, one of their attorneys said Friday, the parents prefer therapy to “get to the underlying causes” of the teen’s desire to transition.
...A Hamilton County assistant prosecutor who is representing Job and Family Services said the parents’ stance could lead the teen to suicide..."

Florida is the worst state in the nation in every way, new rankings say
Florida ranks dead last when it comes to rating the best states in the nation.
Michigan ranks No. 1, the very best state in the union.
Let that sink in for awhile. Michigan, the state that gave us the Motor City Madman, Ted Nugent and Kid Rock (the poor man’s Ted Nugent), is 49 states better than Florida.
Thrillist’s Definitive and Final Ranking of All 50 States list ranked the states “based on everything.” Specifically, the states’ contributions to America, like inventions, food and drink, “somewhat productive famous people,” and unique physical beauty, among other things.
...Just under Michigan as the best of the best: Maine, Kentucky, Wisconsin and Louisiana."
