Donald Trump’s Top 7 Accomplishments in His First Year as President - John Hawkins

Donald Trump’s Top 7 Accomplishments in His First Year as President - John Hawkins:
See the source image"While the news media and the President’s biggest critics have understandably focused on Trump’s latest controversial tweets and statements along with sketchy claims made about him by anonymous sources, he has done a shockingly good job of actual governance.
In fact, if any 2016 candidate other than Trump had gotten this much done in his first year, Republicans would be calling him another Reagan.
With that said, it’s time to give a little credit where credit is due…
Honorable Mentions: Winning A Government Shutdown, Repealing Obama's Net Neutrality Rules, Cutting Regulations, Repealing The Individual Mandate, Getting Cooperation From China On North Korea, Pulling Out Of The Paris Climate Agreement, Reduction In Illegal Immigration, Reinstating The Mexico City Policy On Abortion...

What Millennials Should Know About the Soviet Union--Blog | HumanProgress.org

Blog | HumanProgress.org:
Image result for soviet communism"The admiration of young people for communist leaders is slightly down from last year, according to the annual report on U.S. attitudes toward socialism, which was released by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation
...However, a horrifying 23 percent of Americans between ages 21 and 29 believe that Stalin was a “hero.”
Also, 32 percent of millennials hold a favorable view of Karl Marx, slightly down from 34 percent last year.
This drop in popularity is comforting, but only slightly.
Chances are you have friends who still idealize socialism, communism, and the men who enforced these ideologies with an iron hand.
But what they probably don’t realize is the awful truth about these utopian visions of a better world. Let’s quickly walk through some of the history they ought to consider..."

"Similarly, if the clear front-runner Hillary Clinton had won the election, we’d now have no scandals. Again, the reason is not that she and her careerist enablers did not engage in scandalous behavior, but that such foul play would have been recalibrated as rewardable fealty and absorbed into the folds of the progressive deep state."

Americans Are Saving Energy Because Fewer People Go Outside - Slashdot
"An anonymous reader quotes a report from The Verge:
Image result for fat kids video gamesAmericans are saving energy because they don't go outside as much anymore, researchers say.
It's a plus for the environment, though in another light (no pun intended), it's just sad.
In 2012, Americans spent an extra eight days at home compared to 2003, according to the American Time Use Surveys.
Being at home means using more energy by keeping the lights on and watching TV.
But it also means less travel, and it means that fewer people are outside operating offices and stores. ...The trend of staying indoors is especially strong for those ages 18 to 24: the youths spent 70 percent more time at home than the general population..."

ESPN Host: Notre Dame's Fighting Irish Mascot Is Offensive, Needs to Change

ESPN Host: Notre Dame's Fighting Irish Mascot Is Offensive, Needs to Change
Image result for i'm offended"During a debate Tuesday over the Cleveland Indian's recent decision to drop their "Chief Wahoo" logo, ESPN "First Take" host Max Kellerman argued the Notre Dame Fighting Irish mascot is offensive as well.
Kellerman said he is personally thanked every time he visits a reservation for his public opposition to Native-American mascots in sports.
"When I go to Native-American reservations around the country to call fights, I am approached—I've received feathers in honor and letters saying, ‘Thank you for your stance,'" he said.
Based on that anecdotal evidence, he dismissed a Washington Post survey that found nine out of 10 Native-Americans are not offended by team names like the NFL's Washington Redskins.
...He continued to argue that ethnic mascots should be changed "even if it is a minority of the group that is offended," and said that rule also should apply to the University of Notre Dame, whose athletic teams are known as the Fighting Irish.
"Many Irish-Americans are not offended, but many are.
And should that also change? The answer is yes, unequivocally yes," Kellerman said, as his guest Will Cain groaned and facepalmed..."

"Republican Congressman Steve Scalise told illegal immigrants to “get in line” and wait their turn as Congress works to secure the southern border, Tuesday on “Fox & Friends.”
“We always forget America has the most generous immigration laws already. We let a million people in our country legally. Get in line like everybody else,” Scalise said. “And I think that’s a really good answer. You can stay here while you are doing it.”"

France - Worst rains in 50 years a reminder of Little Ice Age floods - Ice Age Now

France - Worst rains in 50 years a reminder of Little Ice Age floods - Ice Age Now
"Reminds me of the Little Ice Age floods that wiped out the bridge in Avignon.
Floodwaters along the rain-engorged Seine River are threatening towns downstream from Paris, said an article today from the AP.
The national weather service said that “January has seen nearly double normal rainfall nationwide, and that the rains in the past two months are the highest measured for the period in 50 years.
The article then went on to warn (of course) that France’s heaviest rains in 50 years have “raised concerns about climate change.”
Those floods raise my concerns, too.
But not because of so-called “climate change.”
Instead, they remind me of the Little Ice Age floods that wiped out the bridge in Avignon.
...Unfortunately, Little-Ice-Age floods destroyed it..."

Here’s a photo of an artist’s rendering of the Pont d’Avignon that I took while visiting the bridge."

FBI to Trump White House: Please Block The FISA Memo That Could Expose Us For Spying On You - Matt Vespa

FBI to Trump White House: Please Block The FISA Memo That Could Expose Us For Spying On You - Matt Vespa:

Image result for flickr commons images capital hill"The four-page memo is seen by some as a document that could offer clarity over whether the FBI used the shoddy Trump dossier compiled by former MI6 operative Christopher Steele, whose was contracted by research firm Fusion GPS—which was given money for this opposition research project by the Hillary campaign. It wasn’t corroborated and on top of that, Steele is said to have given the FBI another dossier compiled by a Clinton political operative, Cody Shearer, which also wasn’t verified. So, did the FBI/DOJ secure FISA warrants on members of the Trump campaign by presenting before the court unverified documents?"

They DO NOT Want This Memo Released! The Mainstream Media Is Having An EPIC Meltdown Over The Pending Release Of The Nunes Memo | The Daily Sheeple

They DO NOT Want This Memo Released! The Mainstream Media Is Having An EPIC Meltdown Over The Pending Release Of The Nunes Memo | The Daily Sheeple:
lies deception propaganda media"With the release of a controversial memo set to expose a litany of corruption throughout the FBI and the Justice Department just days away, the mainstream media has gone into disinformation hyperdrive in the hopes of discrediting the key information contained within the memo before it is even released.
In other words, the same mainstream media outlets who have worked tirelessly to destroy Trump at the behest of their deep state intelligence community masters are now doing everything in their power to discredit not only the memo itself, but also the politicians who have pushed for its release.
At this point it has become strikingly obvious that the mainstream media is truly scared of what is contained within the memo and are now willing to spread literally any lie in the hopes of advancing the laughable narrative that releasing a document to the public is anti-transparency.
...The mainstream media and their deep state masters are so scared of this memos release that they are actually claiming that it will be a “sad” day in the country when it is finally revealed and that it will somehow cause Americans to have LESS faith in their government.
You truly cannot make this type of epic level propaganda up and the fact that it is happening clearly shows that whatever is within the FISA memo, the anti-Trump movement does not want it revealed."

Unusually Bold Climate Fraud from the UN - Video - Ice Age Now

Unusually Bold Climate Fraud from the UN - Video - Ice Age Now:
"Tony Heller exposes yet more global warming fraud.
He also comments on that starving polar bear.

"As to that starving polar bear, I flew over Baffin Bay on Saturday (9 Dec 17), where sea ice is slightly above normal, says Tony.
Whatever made this polar bear too weak to hunt has nothing to do with global warming or sea ice."
Leaving polar bears aside, in this video Tony attacks a new article entitled “Global warming may harm children for life.”
Citing U.N. sources, the article claims that by 2070 the number of days with the mean temperature above 32°C will rise from one per year right now, to 43 days per year.
“There’s so many things wrong with this claim that it’s difficult to begin.” says Tony..."

REPORT: McCabe Threatened To 'Torch The FBI' If Forced Out Of Bureau Without Pension | Daily Wire

REPORT: McCabe Threatened To 'Torch The FBI' If Forced Out Of Bureau Without Pension | Daily Wire:

Image result for flickr commons images FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe "McCabe on Monday said he would take an 'indefinite" leave of absence, stepping down from his post months earlier than expected.
McCabe is set to receive a nearly $2 million pension, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis. But that taxpayer-funded pension doesn't kick in until March 18, which is why McCabe decided to take "indefinite" leave. That way, he'll hit the mark.
His decision came just hours before the House voted to reveal a controversial, GOP-authored memo about FBI procedure alleging that FBI higher-ups, including McCabe, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and former FBI Director James Comey abused the the FISA warrantless surveillance program."

"The state of Illinois is in the worst financial mess of any state in the union.
The state owes billions in unpaid bills to vendors - most of them small businesses.
The pension system is underfunded and is a ticking time bomb getting ready to explode.
Image result for Illinois worst financial mess of any state in the union. The state income tax is among the highest in the nation, the recently "reformed" school funding formula heavily favors the Chicago public schools while shortchanging suburban and rural schools, and the state legislature proceeds as if nothing was wrong.
Democrats refused to enact any of Republican Governor Bruce Rauner's reforms, which included pension reform, tax cuts for the middle class, and property tax reform.
Rauner, looking to change the "pay to play" culture in Springfield, stood firm for his reforms.
But Democrats refused to vote a state budget for two years. In the end, Democrats got their way and passed a budget with a hefty increase in taxes.
In short, the state is broke.
But you'd never know it by listening to the front runners for the Democratic nomination for governor..."
