They're not just biased. They're lazy morons!

Some wrongs never can be made right: "One apology isn't enough for Eddie Johnson. He wants an apology every day of every week for the next year, if not for the rest of his life. The Chicago Tribune, a national radio show and a number of TV stations have smeared his fine name, mistakenly identifying the Chicago-bred basketball legend and former University of Illinois star as the Eddie Johnson charged last week with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl in Florida."

Strongest Dad in the World[From Sports Illustrated, By Rick Reilly]
I try to be a good father. Give my kids mulligans. Work nights to pay for their text messaging. Take them to swimsuit shoots. But compared with Dick Hoyt, I suck.
Eighty-five times he's pushed his disabled son, Rick, 26.2 miles in marathons. Eight times he's not only pushed him 26.2 miles in a wheelchair but also towed him 2.4 miles in a dinghy while swimming and pedaled him 112 miles in a seat on the all in the same day. Dick's also pulled him cross-country skiing, taken him on his back mountain climbing and once hauled him across the U.S. on a bike. Makes taking your son bowling look a little lame, right?

My non-dirty little secret...

USA Network Monk
I really like the TV show Monk.
I can't really figure out why.....I just like its humanity.
And I'm not all that big on "humanity".

I also think "Natalie" is hot....I don't know why....

Captain's Quarters

Captain's Quarters: "The New York Times' public editor, Byron Calame, publishes a startling admision from Bill Keller regarding the publication delay of the most explosive story in his short reign as managing editor. Earlier, when Keller told people that the NSA surveillance story got delayed from December 2004 based on requests from the White House, speculation circulated that the story had actually gotten shelved before the presidential election. Now Calame confirms that Keller lied about the publication history of the Lichtblau/Risen effort:"

MSU's kicking battle wide open -- for now

MSU's kicking battle wide open -- for now: "Neither sophomore Todd Boleski nor freshman Brett Swenson has taken the lead in Michigan State's competition to find its next placekicker.
According to coaches, they've been about even over the first week of practice.
'It's college football and his leg is about to drop off,' coach John L. Smith said of Swenson on Friday. 'It happens to all guys who come in for the first time, so we've kind of had him lay off a little bit. But I like what I'm seeing so far.'
As for Boleski, Smith said the 6-feet-6, 214-pound standout from spring workouts hasn't fallen off from his performances a few months ago.
'He doesn't know how good he can be,' Smith said. 'He just has a big leg. He's competing. I like how the two guys are handling everything.'
Smith said he could wait until the season opener to decide which player will kick if both remain competitive. Another option is using both during the season -- Swenson for short-yardage situations and Boleski for longer distances."

Interesting... if true...

Columnist Says Barack Obama 'Lied To The American People;' Asks Publisher to Withdraw Obama's Book: "'It is time for Barack Obama to stop presenting a fantasy to the American people. We are forgiving and many would still support him. It may well be that his concealment is meant to endanger Israel. His Muslim religion would obviously raise serious questions in many Jewish circles where Obama now enjoys support,' Martin states."

Victor Davis Hanson on War on National Review Online

Victor Davis Hanson on War on National Review Online: "When I used to read about the 1930s the Italian invasion of Abyssinia, the rise of fascism in Italy, Spain, and Germany, the appeasement in France and Britain, the murderous duplicity of the Soviet Union, and the racist Japanese murdering in China I never could quite figure out why, during those bleak years, Western Europeans and those in the United States did not speak out and condemn the growing madness, if only to defend the millennia-long promise of Western liberalism. "

Kinda dumb...

...OK, real dumb. But kinda true....
A man scanned the guests at a party and spotted an attractive womanstanding alone. He approached her and asked her name."My name is Carmen," she told him."That's a beautiful name," he said. "Is it a family name?""No," she replied. "I gave it to myself. It reflects the things I likemost - cars and men." "What's your name?" she asked."Beertits", he said

"rolling" fast

This is liberalism, folks....
BREITBART.COM - US stars align in anti-Iraq war hunger strike: "Other supporters, including Penn, Sarandon, novelist Alice Walker and actor Danny Glover will join a 'rolling' fast, a relay in which 2,700 activists pledge to refuse food for at least 24 hours, and then hand over to a comrade. "
I'm thinkin' Mikie has been fasting with Cindy...."Cindy, you fast for one minute and then I'll fast for one minute, then you, then me. Got it? Hey, don't take the whole bucket of chicken...."

Liberal fasting?

This chubbo was fasting for a month? Right.....
Sheehan Treated for Dehydration in Texas: "Anti-war demonstrator Cindy Sheehan was hospitalized Friday evening for dehydration and exhaustion after fasting for more than a month and protesting earlier this week in 100-degree weather, friends and relatives said. "

The new meme

Last night on Chris Matthews, the NYT (unbiased!) reporterette called Lieberman "the Republican candidate". When Lieberman wins, is he gonna forget what the demos and the media are doing to him?
Ankle Biting Pundits Um, the Bush Candidate Got 48% in a Dem Primary [!]: "There is very little Democrats should be happy about regarding this debacle. The party's 2000 Vice Presidential nominee has bolted. The white rats are running the laboratory. And the pro-Bush candidate just got 48% in a Democrat primary."

MSU Smith on the bubble

Well, $1.6 million/year works out to about $300,000 per Spartan win under John L. The long knives are out!
John Niyo's Top 5: Win or else :
After 40 years at Penn State, Joe Paterno doesn't have to worry about job security. But here are five coaches who do:
Rich Brooks, Kentucky: A 9-25 record in his first three seasons -- and 4-20 in the Southeastern Conference -- earned Brooks a contract extension. But that was mostly to help with recruiting, and it won't mean a thing if the losing continues.
Dennis Franchione, Texas A&M: Cut-and-run wizard usually doesn't stay in one place for more than four or five years. He might not in College Station, either, unless ex-Western Michigan coach Gary Darnell can fix the defense this season.
Larry Coker, Miami (Fla.): A growing list of off-the-field problems wouldn't matter at Miami if not for three losses in each of the last two seasons. Coker, who's 53-9 with a national title to his credit, purged half his coaching staff last winter, so now it's on him.
John L. Smith, Michigan State: The Spartans' offense has been fun to watch -- and this fall it should be no different -- but another bowl game would help appease the restless fans in East Lansing. Beating Michigan wouldn't hurt, either."

Here's the video proof of media lies.

Photo Fraud in Lebanon

Maybe he'll sue?

What do you bet this guy will get a free pass and waste taxpayer's money in Bozeman?
Missing Egyptian Student Arrested At O'Hare: " a man at the Delta terminal at O'Hare International Airport tried to use a ticket to go to Bozeman, Montana, but his ticket was out of New York rather than Chicago, police Supt. Philip Cline said at a news conference.

A disturbance then ensued. "He was raising his voice for the level for the counter agent to call for the police officer to come over," Cline said.

The man, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamed Abou El Ela, 22, was found to be one of the missing Egyptian students, Cline said.

He was acting in a strange, erratic behavior, and the Delta supervisor and they went a little farther in their investigation with the ticket, and they discovered that he was one of the missing students that they were looking for, said Chicago police officer Tim Bolger, who arrived at the scene. "

Insurance screw job!

Wired 14.08: Pinch My Ride: "Since you reportedly can account for all the vehicle keys, the forensic information suggests that the loss did not occur as reported, the company wrote to Wassef, denying his claim. The barely hidden subtext: Wassef was lying."

They're not only liars, they're stupid!

Framing the story: "We hope doubters of media bias are paying attention to the photojournalism follies in Lebanon this week. It started with a Reuters freelance photographer's doctoring of images to exaggerate plumes of smoke and Israeli-wrought destruction in Beirut. The photographer was fired, which would have ended the matter, except that fresh irregularities at the New York Times, the Associated Press and U.S. News & World Report are emerging. As we said about the Reuters incident, media bias is a consensus, not a conspiracy."

The most important story of the year!

Read it all!
The Contrived News Story: "Think about how many times the media have concocted a story when there wasn't one to report. The president's Texas Air National Guard 'records', forged by someone for CBS, was only the most obvious, but the list is long. Enron as a Bush scandal. Richard Clarke's testimony to the 9-11 Commission taken as gospel and republished over and over without any examination of the underlying facts that proved much of it wrong. The Valerie Plame nonsense. Long-time war critic Jack Murtha suddenly given the Paris Hilton treatment. Blaming the president for Katrina's devastation of New Orleans. NSA listening to terrorists as 'domestic spying.'

The hypocrites in green!

USATODAY.com - Gore isn't quite as green as he's led the world to believe: "Public records reveal that as Gore lectures Americans on excessive consumption, he and his wife Tipper live in two properties: a 10,000-square-foot, 20-room, eight-bathroom home in Nashville, and a 4,000-square-foot home in Arlington, Va. (He also has a third home in Carthage, Tenn.) For someone rallying the planet to pursue a path of extreme personal sacrifice, Gore requires little from himself. "
But you gotta sell your SUV, little Americans!

Let's make terrorism fun!

Schoolchildren Get Trivia Questions' About 9/11 Attack - August 8, 2006 - The New York Sun: "An activity book for children about the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks being distributed to schools with funding from Keyspan, North Fork Bank, and the law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges contains pages of 'trivia questions' and math problems about the attack."
