Who Speaks for the American Worker? NetRight Daily
"I do not purport to speak for the working American, only for myself and maybe the few with whom I share most weekdays.
First of all, we don’t think of ourselves as units of a collective.
Each of us is seeking our own path in life, and while the economic collapse has left us all cautious and unsure, we carry on with the hope that, through initiative and hard work, we can make our lives better."

"Opponents of New York Republican Rep. Peter King’s hearings on domestic Muslim extremism have tried to make the controversy into a civil rights battle.
The more the left obfuscates the issue, the more dangerous the threat becomes."
Incredible!
The democrat party has become the "peace in our time" party.
Defending and helping to mask the monstrous muslim jihadists where ever they exist.
Even in our own country.

Doctors: Husband told Giffords she was shot
Doctors: Husband told Giffords she was shot - Washington Times
“I’m very happy to report that she’s making leaps and bounds in terms of neurological recovery,” said Dr. Dong Kim, a neuroscientist.
“She’s doing spectacularly well.”
It's great that Giffords is doing well but she's obviously not up to serving those who elected her to the congress.
And with the Arizona primary less than a year away it would seem that she will be unable to campaign for her seat.
I'm getting a "duh" feeling that the media is overplaying her recovery in an attempt to legitimize her running again.
Even though it is likely she is not up to a political race or possibly the duties of a congresswoman.
Oh, did I mention she's a democrat.......

My prediction back then was that it will get nowhere near the media coverage that was given to Pat Robertson (White House responds to Pat Roberts faster than to undiebomber that tried to blow up airplane over Detroit) when he blamed Haiti's pact with the devil for its problems.

Bill would freeze teacher pay between contracts
Bill would freeze teacher pay between contracts MLive.com
"Republicans in the Michigan House have approved a bill that would freeze pay and benefits for union-represented public school teachers working under expired contracts.
The bill that passed by a 63-47 vote Thursday goes to the Republican-led Senate.
The bill calls for public employers to provide no more than current pay and benefits after the expiration date of a collective bargaining agreement until a new contract is in place.
It would eliminate so-called step increases sometimes paid by school districts regardless of whether a union contract is in place.
Employees would have to pay for increased costs of health insurance or other benefits.
Democrats say the proposed changes are unconstitutional and would eliminate employers' incentive to bargain new contracts.
Republicans say the changes would give unions more incentive to bargain."
