PETA: Paul Ryan a 'bad dad' for father-daughter deer hunt | WashingtonExaminer.com
PETA declared that Ryan wasn't the best dad ever, at least in his daughter's eyes, but American's No. One "Bad Dad."
What's more, PETA suggests that by teaching his daughter to hunt deer, he might be setting her up for a life of rage, possibly against humans.

There was absolutely no diplomatic consulate in Benghazi.
None.
Words are important here.
They can create a wrong image, an incorrect picture of what was really going on.
The property where our Ambassador and other Americans were murdered was a rented villa consisting of a primary residence with a couple of outbuildings behind the actual house.
The reason they’re still calling it a consulate is to subtly divert any questions about our activities there.

How about the biggest losers?
From 2000-09, the metropolitan areas that suffered the biggest net domestic migration losses resemble something of an urbanist dream team: New York, which saw a net outflow of a whopping 1.9 million citizens, followed by the Los Angeles metro area (-1,337,522), Chicago, Detroit, and, despite recent improvements, San Francisco-Oakland.
The raw numbers make it clear that California has lost its appeal for migrants from other parts of the U.S., and has become an exporter of people and talent (and income).

As the table below shows, the four-year average (2010-13) of 2% real GDP growth would be the lowest of any four years following a negative growth period (of at least one year), since the Crash of 1929.
And it would not be the lowest by just a little, but by a lot.

Cox and Archer: Why $16 Trillion Only Hints at the True U.S. Debt - WSJ.com
We most often hear about the alarming $15.96 trillion national debt (more than 100% of GDP), and the 2012 budget deficit of $1.1 trillion (6.97% of GDP).
As dangerous as those numbers are, they do not begin to tell the story of the federal government's true liabilities.
The actual liabilities of the federal government—including Social Security, Medicare, and federal employees' future retirement benefits—already exceed $86.8 trillion, or 550% of GDP.
For the year ending Dec. 31, 2011, the annual accrued expense of Medicare and Social Security was $7 trillion.
Nothing like that figure is used in calculating the deficit. In reality, the reported budget deficit is less than one-fifth of the more accurate figure.
Why haven't Americans heard about the titanic $86.8 trillion liability from these programs?

"Anytime anyone in the CMU community feels belittled, disrespected, threatened, or unsafe because of who they are, the entire university community is diminished," says the university website.
"That's why it's important to report all bias incidents — even those intended as jokes.
If you have observed or experienced a bias incident, it should be reported as soon as possible."
