SHOCKER: Someone at MSNBC Actually Called Harry Reid Out for his Lies!

SHOCKER: Someone at MSNBC Actually Called Harry Reid Out for his Lies!:

Harry Reid has been on a infantile, disingenuous tirade against the libertarian leaning Koch Brothers Despite that fact that he is cozy with the Steyer Brothers and constantly looking the other way in silence at the infiltration into the American political system of global socialist George Soros, Dirty Harry remains silent on those issues. Of course, whoever lines his pockets or keeps him and his party in power is off limits from criticism.

Instead, he attacks private American citizens who simply fight for freedom, free markets, and the Constitution upon which this country was built as ‘un-American’ with lies, distortions, and baseless accusations. Shockingly, at least one person at MSNBC, Obama’s LEAN FORWARD propaganda network, has called Reid out for his ridiculous attacks."

Fuzzy math from administration over ObamaCare? | Fox News

Fuzzy math from administration over ObamaCare? | Fox News:

In his Rose Garden appearance this week, Obama seemed elated to proclaim "7.1 million Americans have now signed up for private insurance plans through these marketplaces."

But it remains unclear how many of those sign ups have paid premiums in order to be officially enrolled, or how many were previously uninsured.

In addition, even though officials are celebrating the 7 million mark, the White House once minimized numbers twice that large-- the 14 million people in the individual insurance market who were facing cancellations because their policies did not have all the required benefits of ObamaCare."

$6 Billion Goes Missing at State Department

$6 Billion Goes Missing at State Department | The Fiscal Times
The State Department has no idea what happened to $6 billion used to pay its contractors.
In a special “management alert” made public Thursday, the State Department’s Inspector General Steve Linick warned “significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at the department has led to billions of unaccounted dollars over the last six years.
Te alert was just the latest example of the federal government’s continued struggle with oversight over its outside contractors.
.....In another instance, the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement issued a $1 billion contract in Afghanistan that was deemed “incomplete.”

Obama math: under new Common Core, 3 x 4 = 11

Obama math: under new Common Core, 3 x 4 = 11 | The Daily Caller:
"Quick: what’s 3 x 4?
If you said 11 — or, hell, if you said 7, pi, or infinity squared — that’s just fine under the Common Core, the new national curriculum that the Obama administration will impose on American public school students this fall.
In a pretty amazing YouTube video, Amanda August, a curriculum coordinator in a suburb of Chicago called Grayslake, explains that getting the right answer in math just doesn’t matter as long as kids can explain the necessarily faulty reasoning they used to get to that wrong answer.
“Even if they said, ’3 x 4 was 11,’ if they were able to explain their reasoning and explain how they came up with their answer really in, umm, words and oral explanation, and they showed it in the picture but they just got the final number wrong, we’re really more focused on the how,” August says in the video."

How to Collect Rainwater for Survival

How to Collect Rainwater for Survival | SurvivoPedia:
"Rainwater is an excellent source of free water, or so you’d think, right?
big-waterApparently not, though.
For example, some Western states including Utah, Washington and Colorado outlawed home owners from collecting rain water on their own properties.
According to the good’ ol government, the water that falls from the skies belongs to someone else and you’re essentially stealing if you collect it.
So check your laws before moving forward.
Well, that being said, collecting rain water can be very important for your survival, if SHTF and your regular water supply runs dry.
In a societal collapse scenario, don’t expect for the regular chains of supply, i.e. utilities like power, gas or water to work efficiently, if at all.
Therefore, survival will be up to you."

Sarah Palin’s remarkable staying power

Sarah Palin’s remarkable staying power:
"It’s tempting to think of this spate of Sarah Palin appearances everywhere (on social media, too), as a comeback.
But, thing is, Palin hasn’t ever really gone anywhere since she went from being a complete unknown to an American obsession in 2008.
Like no other figure in American pop and political culture (The Fix calls her a celebritician), Palin has shown a remarkable ability to stay top of mind, maintaining a role in the Beltway conversation while staying very far away.
She has built herself this unusual platform on three main planks: social media, reality television and her political action committee, SarahPAC."

The ‘Little-Noticed’ Consequence of Obamacare That Will Leave Many Americans Out of Luck | TheBlaze.com

The ‘Little-Noticed’ Consequence of Obamacare That Will Leave Many Americans Out of Luck | TheBlaze.com:

Americans thinking about buying health insurance on their own later this year, or maybe switching to a different insurer, are probably out of luck. The policies are going off the market as a little-noticed consequence of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul.

With limited exceptions, insurance companies have stopped selling until next year the sorts of individual plans that used to be available year-round. That locks out many of the young and healthy as well as the sick and injured, even those who can afford to buy without government subsidies.

“Now they’re stuck,” said Bonnie Milani, an independent insurance broker in Los Angeles, who says she warned her customers last year that the change was coming. “It just closes everything down.”"

Feel-good story of the day--Criminal Tries One of the Oldest Tricks in the Book on Armed Woman

Criminal Tries One of the Oldest Tricks in the Book on Armed Woman – Here’s How It Worked Out for Him | TheBlaze.com:
"A knife-wielding criminal, who police say tried to force his way into a Alabama woman’s home after claiming he needed help, is no longer living.
He was shot dead by the female homeowner who feared for her life and that of her niece.
Another suspect was arrested and charged with first degree robbery in connection with the case on Friday morning.
Police say 18-year-old Mikel Steven Smith, of Marbury, Ala., first knocked on the door of the woman’s Autauga County home and told her he needed help and was “broke down.”
When she came to the door, Smith pushed the door open and entered the home with a knife.
With her life clearly threatened, the armed woman shot the intruder several times.
He was pronounced dead Friday at around 12:30 a.m. about 30 feet away from the home.
“Drag marks lead investigators to believe another person was involved and a second ‘person of interest’ was taken into custody later Friday morning,” WSFA-TV reports."

Eaton’s Blackout Tracker Annual Report contains data that is based on a full year of reported power outages across the U.S. and provides an overview of national power outage data as well as power outage data by state.
For the fifth year running, California topped the list of states with the most power outages, followed by Texas and Michigan.

Washington Post: ‘Cat’s Out of the Bag’ on IRS Targeting Scandal | Video | TheBlaze.com

Washington Post: ‘Cat’s Out of the Bag’ on IRS Targeting Scandal | Video | TheBlaze.com:

"The IRS exempt organizations unit cited hundreds of conservative groups with words such as tea party or “take back America,” to identify certain applicants for tax exempt status on a “BOLO” or be on the lookout list.

The IG report found, the IRS “1) targeted specific groups applying for tax-exempt status, 2) delayed processing of targeted groups’ applications, and 3) requested unnecessary information from targeted groups.” Then concluded, “The IRS used inappropriate criteria that identified for review Tea Party and other organizations applying for tax‑exempt status based upon their names or policy positions instead of indications of potential political campaign intervention.”

A week after the report was released, George told Congress, “The three allegations considered during our review were proven true. The IRS targeted specific groups applying for tax-exempt status.  It delayed the processing of these groups’ applications, and requested unnecessary information, as well as subjected these groups to special scrutiny.”"

Here’s What Happened to Crime in Chicago After Illinois Finally Passed Concealed Carry Law | TheBlaze.com

Here’s What Happened to Crime in Chicago After Illinois Finally Passed Concealed Carry Law | TheBlaze.com:

"On July 9, 2013, a bill to recognize Illinois gun owners’ right to carry concealed firearms was passed by both chambers of the state Legislature. Illinois became the last state in the nation to allow public possession of concealed guns.

Gun control advocates warned that high-crime areas, like Chicago, would only see more violence if residents were allowed to carry guns in public.

In reality, the opposite may be happening.

On Tuesday, the Chicago Police Department announced that the city experienced its lowest murder rate since 1958 in the first quarter of 2014. There were 6 fewer murders than the same timeframe in 2013 — a 9 percent drop — and 55 fewer murders than 2012, police said.

Further, there were reportedly 90 fewer shootings and 119 fewer shooting victims compared to last year. There have also been 222 fewer shootings and 292 fewer shooting victims compared to the first quarter in 2012."

Report: Immigration Agents Release 1 in 3 Criminal Illegals

Report: Immigration Agents Release 1 in 3 Criminal Illegals:

“The Obama administration consistently claims that it must selectively enforce the law because of a lack of resources,” Heritage Foundation homeland security analyst David Inserra told The Foundry. “Yet President Obama has consistently sought to cut ICE’s budget, indicating that the administration clearly does not prioritize the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws.”

Under the administration’s use of prosecutorial discretion, report author Jessica M. Vaughan writes, ICE officers are instructed “to release illegal aliens if the alien is a parent or caregiver; if the alien claims to be in school; if the alien has been here a long time; or if the alien claims to be eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.”

ICE officers also are instructed “to ignore convictions for state crimes if the conviction occurred under a state law that the administration opposes or thinks is too harsh.”"

obamaBook.jpgCommon Core 4th grade reading: Obama biography portrays whites as racist... | RedFlagNews.com: "Common Core Standards are teaching racism. How can any parent allow their children to be taught racism in the public school system is beyond comprehension. Yet here it is live in Dupo, Illinios. How do you feel about this? Is this the truth? Is this how the new Common Core Standards are going to create even greater social disorder? Could this take the “Knockout Game” being practiced by Black youths around this country to a whole new level? There were plenty of “White” people who have voted for Obama, me being one of them in the first election! Why would The United Nations Common Core Teaching Standards teach racism against “White” people?"

Steve Utash: Pray for Comatose Victim of Racist Black Detroit Mob

Steve Utash: Pray for Comatose Victim of Racist Black Detroit Mob

As you begin your weekend, please pray for the recovery of Steve Utash, the White victim of the racist Black Detroit mob, about whom I told you yesterday. Utash, a working-class tree trimmer, is the man who found himself in the unfortunate situation of accidentally hitting a 10-year-old Black kid, who darted into the middle of a street and into oncoming traffic in Detroit.
steveutash
Utash, as I told you, did the morally right (and legally required) thing by pulling over to see if the kid was okay and trying to help him. And, as a result, he was subject to a severely brutal beating at the hands of 10-20 Black men, who nearly killed him. Utash has been in a coma in the hospital since then–and could die, while the kid has knee abrasions and a swollen lip. There’s a lesson in this for anyone driving in an urban Black neighborhood. Just keep driving and call the police from your cellphone. Otherwise, you could end up in the same place as Utash. You could choose to be liberal and ignore all of this and have an “open” mind, but you might also end up with an open (cracked open) head.
Clearly, Utash is a good guy. He could have sped off, but wanted to check on the welfare of this kid who just ran into the middle of traffic and whose parents were nowhere to be seen. And for that, Utash may have given his life. Let’s hope not. Put this kind man in your prayers and say a prayer for his recovery.
blackracismSteve Utash, a tree trimmer from Roseville, is a good guy, the kind who cares about others and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, his daughter says. Thursday night, his family was keeping vigil at St. John Hospital and Medical Center, where he was unconscious and clinging to life after being beaten by a group of men on Detroit’s east side Wednesday. The attack happened after his pickup truck hit 10-year-old David Harris, who stepped off a curb into its path. His daughter, Felicia Utash, said that after he was beaten, he was robbed of his money, his wallet and his credit cards.

Scientists make major breakthrough in Age-Related Macular Degeneration therapy

Scientists make major breakthrough in Age-Related Macular Degeneration therapy

Scientists at Trinity College Dublin have made a major breakthrough with important implications for sufferers of the eye disease Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), which can cause central blindness in sufferers.
The scientists found that a component of the immune system, 'IL-18', acts as a guardian of eyesight by suppressing the production of damaging  behind the retina at the back of the eye. In addition, in pre-clinical models, it was shown that 'IL-18' can be administered in a non-invasive way, which could represent a major improvement on the current therapeutic options that are open to patients.
AMD is one of the most common forms of blindness in the aging population. The disease involves a loss of central vision, such that people suffering at advanced stages are unable to read, watch TV, drive, or use computers.
