It’s Not Every Day You See an Exchange Like This Between Israeli Soldiers and Palestinian Kids | Video | TheBlaze.com:

‘Everything Is Confidential’: Obama Stiffs Congress on Details of Cuban Spy Swap | TheBlaze.com:

"Another source told TheBlaze that the White House is claiming executive privilege, and said one way around that might be to ask if the FBI or other national security agencies recommended their release. In past years, national security agencies have often recommended against a release of a spy, only to be overridden by political officials.
Members of Congress were told that the White House led the negotiations with Cuba, not the State Department. The House aide said that news surprised several members, since past negotiations have been led by State.

“It’s really unprecedented for the White House to lead these negotiations,” the aide said."

"Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) was called out on live television by CNN host Ashleigh Banfield on Monday after the Democrat claimed protesters in New York City never chanted for “dead cops” — even though demonstrators were recently caught on video clearly chanting for dead police officers.

“There are people who are marching through the streets calling for dead cops in New York,” Banfield said."

Report Blames Obama White House for Weaponizing the IRS and Turning It Against Conservatives | TheBlaze.com

Report Blames Obama White House for Weaponizing the IRS and Turning It Against Conservatives | TheBlaze.com:

"The report also blamed Obamacare, which gave the IRS a key role in implementing Obama’s health program, for turning the IRS into an arm of the White House, when it should have remained independent.
“Evidence shows an IRS responsive to the partisan policy objectives of the White House and an IRS leadership that coordinates with political appointees of the Obama administration,” it found.

It said efforts to cover up the scandal were ultimately led by Obama himself. Obama initially said the IRS’s actions were inexcusable, but later said there was not a “smidgen of corruption” at the IRS."

Grad students, professor, union leader charged in Brooklyn Bridge assault

Grad students, professor, union leader charged in Brooklyn Bridge assault by Renee Nal:

F— the police/To rise as you/Disappear below current/Interpretations of observations/F— the police, – Poetry by Professor Eric Linsker
What do three graduate students, a professor and an SEIU labor leader have in common? They all allegedly assaulted two members of the NYPD earlier this month.
A graduate student has turned herself in in the case of an assault on two NYPD lieutenants on the Brooklyn Bridge on December 13. Cindy Gorn, 29, has standard “research interests” including “race, resistance; marxism” according to her student bio.
Cindy Gorn
Gorn was a part of a panel discussion for a Left Forum conference (the successor to the Socialist Scholars Conference) called “The Crisis, the Fightback, and Solidarity, from Anarchist and Marxist Perspectives,” where a description of the discussion states:
From anarchist-communist and libertarian-autonomist Marxist perspectives we will analyze the current crisis of capitalism and to consider alternate strategies for popular struggle, such as mass strikes, electoral and non-electoral action, etc.
Eric Linsker, 29, is an adjunct professor of English at the City University of New York (CUNY) who “was once known more for his erotic poetry interspersed with expletives aimed at the police.” But Linsker, perhaps unsurprisingly, translated his hatred toward police into action on the Brooklyn police when he attempted “to throw a large garbage can down onto the roadway below, where other demonstrators and police officers were walking....Robert Murray, 43, is “a six-figure-earning organizer for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU)” who was also arrested for his role in the attack.

Maybe, instead of blaming the cops, we take a look at a government that encourages and funds this bizarre style "family" unit.

'Snaketivity' display set up at Michigan Capitol draws supporters, opponents

'Snaketivity' display set up at Michigan Capitol draws supporters, opponents | MLive.com:
Update
"There have been several more people who have come to the Capitol for the displays.
People were there from two different churches to support the Nativity and others to check out and support "snaketivity."
Michigan State Police Lt. Brody Boucher, who is the commander of Capitol security, said there haven't been any incidents.
The number of people picked up throughout the day, Boucher said, with sometimes between 10-15 people there at a time.
But there has not been a long-term, large scale rally.
LANSING, MI — There was more curiosity than outrage Sunday morning in front of the Michigan Capitol, where a group called the Satanic Temple set up a display to counter a Nativity scene.
Instead of Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus, this "snaketivity" display had a red serpent, a pentagram with a goat head and a cross with “Knowledge is the Greatest Gift of All” written across it."

Xmas gift to lawyers----Civil rights law amendment to re-emerge as hot topic next legislative session

Remember, unlike race or gender, sexual orientation is SELF IDENTIFIED.
Make the lawsuit a bit easier, donchathink?
Civil rights law amendment to re-emerge as hot topic next legislative session | Crain's Detroit Business
n effort to expand the state’s Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act was one of the most-debated issues in the lame-duck legislative session.
Two proposals to bar discrimination based on sexual orientation failed in the final session.
Supporters want to amend Michigan’s civil rights law to bar discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. It’s already illegal to discriminate based on race and other factors in employment, housing and public accommodations
Expect the hot legislative topic to re-emerge in 2015.
December hearings on the legislation were the first after years of lobbying. A coalition of business leaders and others urged passage.
Also this month, the U.S. Department of Labor issued a rule to protect employees of federal contractors from discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity.
The rule would carry out terms of a workplace anti-discrimination law signed by President Barack Obama on July 21.
Here is some of Crain's coverage of the issue:
  • Nov. 12: Michigan bill to bar gay discrimination under fire: Outgoing State Rep. Frank Foster has introduced legislation to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation, but gay rights advocates say it should also include protections for transgender residents.

BOMBSHELL REPORT: IRS Targeted 'Icky' Conservative Groups

BOMBSHELL REPORT: IRS Targeted 'Icky' Conservative Groups | The Daily Caller:
"Top IRS officials specifically targeted tea party groups and misled the public about its secret political targeting program led by ex-official Lois Lerner, according to a bombshell new congressional report.
The Daily Caller has obtained an advance copy of a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee report set to be released Tuesday morning that definitively proves malicious intent by the IRS to improperly block conservative groups that an IRS adviser deemed “icky.”
(That’s right. “Icky.”)
“The Committee has identified eight senior leaders who were in a position to prevent or to stop the IRS’s targeting of conservative applicants,” the Oversight report states.
“Each of these leaders could have and should have done more to prevent the IRS’s targeting of conservative tax-exempt applicants.”
Here are six major takeaways from the report:"

Obama Admin. Allowed Cuban Spy’s Sperm to Be Exported So His Wife Could Get Pregnant | TheBlaze.com:

"Cuban-Americans are seething after it was reported Monday that the Obama administration authorized an operation in which sperm from an imprisoned Cuban spy was transported to Panama for the purpose of impregnating his wife, another Cuban who many suspect of also being a spy.

The story is raising questions about whether the Obama administration went too far to accommodate the needs of a spy who was facing two life sentences in prison in the United States."

What could POTssibly go wrong?-------Indian tribes free to grow pot on their lands – as long as they follow federal laws

Indian tribes free to grow pot on their lands – as long as they follow federal laws | US news | The Guardian:
"American Indian tribes can grow and sell marijuana on their lands as long as they follow the same federal conditions laid out for states that have legalized the drug, the US Justice Department has said.
Oregon US attorney Amanda Marshall said on Thursday the announcement addresses questions raised by tribes about how legalization of pot in states like Oregon, Washington and Colorado would apply to Indian lands.
Only three tribes have expressed interest in growing and selling marijuana, said Marshall, who co-chaired a group that developed the policy.
One is in California, one in Washington state and one in the midwest. She did not name them."

A new word for me......

The Reasons Behind Obama's Failures

The Reasons Behind Obama's Failures:

"Another reason for Obama’s failure was that he sought, in his words, to begin “the work of remaking America”. The entire American political system was designed by the Founding Fathers to frustrate his plans. The Constitution, with its checks and balances and its separation of powers, was intended to limit the government and prevent transient majorities from having their way.

Within those limits, Obama has actually – and from a conservative perspective, regrettably – done a lot:"
