Sea of Transparency

By Tammy Derouin

The reinforcements had been called in, and more importantly, they were on the way.  Relief was in sight. So what happened?  Did the stress of changing one too many dirty diapers finally take its toll?  Had there been too much debris flung at them?  Perhaps they were tired of being blamed for all the problems while being ignored for the solutions.  Whatever the reasons may be, the elected nannies of our self-inflicted nanny state told the spoiled child that he was in charge.  Apparently they felt the need to make it even more obvious. The guardians became submissive and the tantrum throwing child became the master.

Will 2015 Be A Year Of Economic Disaster? 11 Perspectives

Will 2015 Be A Year Of Economic Disaster? 11 Perspectives | Zero Hedge
Will 2015 be a year of financial crashes, economic chaos and the start of the next great worldwide depression?
Over the past couple of years, we have all watched as global financial bubbles have gotten larger and larger.
Despite predictions that they could burst at any time, they have just continued to expand.
But just like we witnessed in 2001 and 2008, all financial bubbles come to an end at some point, and when they do implode the pain can be extreme.
Personally, I am entirely convinced that the financial markets are more primed for a financial collapse now than they have been at any other time since the last crisis happened nearly seven years ago. And I am certainly not alone. At this point, the warning cries have become a deafening roar as a whole host of prominent voices have stepped forward to sound the alarm.
The following are 11 predictions of economic disaster in 2015 from top experts all over the globe…

BOEHNER WINS! Establishment Strikes Back, Part 2

BOEHNER WINS! Establishment Strikes Back, Part 2:

"Does the GOP have a Dark Side? For all who cry foul of corporate bailouts, pork, and big government – your Party has left you. Or perhaps it was never there to begin with? How else do you explain sending the same ideas to Congress yet getting the same results but by voter insanity? The force that is in power is much stronger and more entrenched than ever. Cue the oncoming Conservative Exodus? So Be It, Jedi."

Colorado school district requires girls to cover ankles, wear head scarves on trip to mosque

Colorado school district requires girls to cover ankles, wear head scarves on trip to mosque - EAGnews.org:
"CASTLE ROCK, Colo. – A world religions class is taking a field trip to a Denver mosque and the school is requiring girls to dress in what is described as a Sharia-complaint manner.
KNUS radio host Peter Boyles reports the Douglas County school system issued these rules to students in a notification to parents:
"The world religions field trip is next Tuesday, January 13.
We will be visiting the Denver Mosque, the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Rodef-Shalom Synagogue.
We will then eat lunch at Park Meadows Food Court. Students must either bring a sack lunch or money to purchase lunch at the food court.
THERE IS A DRESS CODE FOR THIS TRIP:
All students must wear appropriate long pants.
Ankles must be covered.
Girls must bring wide scarves or hooded sweatshirts for the mosque."

In Joyless Nanny State Called America, Government Prohibits Sledding

In Joyless Nanny State Called America, Government Prohibits Sledding - Hit & Run : Reason.com
Don't have too much fun.
In fact, don't have any fun.
You could hurt yourself!
That's the thinking of all too many government entities these days—and it's why local officials are increasingly likely to shut down the neighborhood sledding hill.
According to the Associated Press, sledding prohibitions are more and more common:
No one tracks how many cities have banned or limited sledding, but the list grows every year. One of the latest is in Dubuque, Iowa, where the City Council is moving ahead with a plan to ban sledding in all but two of its 50 parks.
"We have all kinds of parks that have hills on them," said Marie Ware, Dubuque's leisure services manager. "We can't manage the risk at all of those places."
In the bureaucrat's defense, government is not solely responsible for all the fun-killing. When kids get hurt, their parents sue, and these liability concerns have made it too costly for local authorities to run the risk.

Liars And Honest People Have Entirely Different Brains

Liars And Honest People Have Entirely Different Brains - KnowledgeNuts
In A Nutshell
Studies on the brains of people who have a history of lying have shown that they’re wired a little differently than the brains of people who are, for the most part, honest.
The brains of habitual liars show an average of 25 percent more white matter and 14 percent less gray matter than the brains of their honest counterparts.
The implication is that the brains of liars are wired to be more in tune with the story-telling and the reading of other people, while at the same time having fewer connections that govern moral choices.

The 25 Heroic Patriots Who Voted Against Boehner

The 25 Heroic Patriots Who Voted Against Boehner:

"Twenty-five bold, patriotic Americans put their political careers on the line, ignored the Boehner machine’s thinly veiled threats, and voted against Boehner, against Obama, against illegal amnesty, against Obamacare, and for liberty, freedom and the U.S. Constitution.

Below are those courageous Americans (Note: It is not required that the Speaker of the House be a member of Congress, thus the votes for Senators Rand Paul and Jeff Sessions), with the person they voted for to the right: "

"It's A Butchery" - 12 Killed In Terrorist Attack On French Satirical Magazine Charlie Hebdo: Live Webcast

"It's A Butchery" - 12 Killed In Terrorist Attack On French Satirical Magazine Charlie Hebdo: Live Webcast | Zero Hedge:

"A tragedy is unfolding in Paris at the moment where armed men stormed the Paris offices of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo on Wednesday morning, killing “at least 12 people” and injuring more, said a police officer.
As a reminder, it was in November 2011 when the Charlie Hebdo’s headquarters were gutted by fire, hours before a special issue of the weekly featuring the Prophet Muhammad appeared on newsstands.
Since then, the weekly moved to a new location, which was guarded by police, who were also shot at Wednesday morning.
The shooters opened fire inside the magazine’s offices using automatic AK-47 rifles before fleeing, said the officer, cited by the WSJ. The attackers, described as "a commando with Kalasnikov and pump action... they went in there to kill" are believed to still be at large as France is "in shock" according to its president."

US Selling Another 170 M-1 Abrams Tanks To Iraq After ISIS Captured 40 Last Summer

US Selling Another 170 M-1 Abrams Tanks To Iraq After ISIS Captured 40 Last Summer | Zero Hedge:
"Remember when shortly after ISIS' stunning and rapid ascent to power it was revealed that a key reason for the terrorist organization's blistering success were the M-1 Abrams tanks, armored transport trucks, Howitzers and countless Humvees made in the US, sold to Iraq and subsequently captured by ISIS?
It appears that the US has decided to restock ISIS, if only indirectly.
As Matthew Aid's Strategypage.com discloses, the US is now selling a whopping 170 M-1 tanks to Iraq in order to restock the 40 lost to ISIS last summer, and then some.
And since ISIS will promptly recapture a substantial portion of this latest batch, the US now appears to have found a fully covert, backdoor ISIS-restocking supply channel: one where Iraq pays to US military contrators (using US taxpayer aid money) such as General Dynamics, and subsequently the inventory mysteriosuly finds its way to barbaian, headcutting terrorists."

Here Are 10 Outrageous 'Zero Tolerance' Follies of 2014

Here Are 10 Outrageous 'Zero Tolerance' Follies of 2014 - Hit & Run : Reason.com
Are your children safe at school? That depends on if you're worried about bullies or administrators.  Here are 10 of the most infamous "zero tolerance" punishments handed down to kids—and even some adults—this year.
1. Student, 13, shares lunch, gets detention
A 13-year-old boy at Weaverville Elementary School in California shared his school lunch (a chicken burrito) with a hungry friend. For this, he got detention. Superintendent Tom Barnett explained, "Because of safety and liability we cannot allow students to actually exchange meals.”
2. Sunscreen not allowed on field trip—kids might drink it
A San Antonio, Texas, school forbid students to bring sunscreen on a field trip. Why? According to spokeswoman Aubrey Chancellor, "We can’t allow toxic things to be in our schools.” The children, "could possibly have an allergic reaction (or) they could ingest it. It’s really a dangerous situation.”

VIDEO: What NBC’s Chuck Todd Reveals About Hillary and 2016 Should TERRIFY All of US!

VIDEO: What NBC’s Chuck Todd Reveals About Hillary and 2016 Should TERRIFY All of US!:

“I think a lot better than people realize. I have the impression that they are more alike as politicians than for instance Hillary and Bill are.”

Todd asserted that Hillary and Obama “both have come to politics on the campaign side of it, the theatric side of it,” Todd said. “They’ve both had to learn it–it’s not instinctual to them.”

If Todd’s analysis is correct and if Hillary ascends to the White House, America may very well be in serious trouble as it would constitute a third term of these radical policies that have so deeply devastated our republic. "

Will crashing oil prices make Russia, Iran and Venezuela more dangerous?

Will crashing oil prices make Russia, Iran and Venezuela more dangerous? « Watchdog.org:
"The plummeting price of oil is giving the economies of Russia, Iran and Venezuela a strong smack upside the head.
And while the resulting crises before Russia President Vladimir Putin, the ruling clerics in Iran and the successor to Hugo Chavez in Venezuela won’t engender much sympathy from many corners of the world, what those leaders may do in response has a number of foreign policy analysts worried.
“With the oil situation, things can go in a lot of different ways,” Stephen Szabo, executive director of the Transatlantic Academy, told Watchdog.org.
“The leadership in these countries is not exactly responsive to their people and they could lash out.

Wait Until You See What Ferguson Protesters Did to a 100-Year Old Navy Vet:

"According to The Oregonian , the protesters, or rather anarchists, continued their chants and disruption for over 15 minutes. Finally, Senator Wyden was able to convince them to let him continue his presentation of the medals to Raschio.

Protesters threatened to punch a public safety officer and yelled, “This is our town hall now!” They also told someone, “I’ll break your jaw, old man!”

Could This BOMBSHELL News About Bill Clinton Derail the ‘Ready for Hillary’ Campaign?

Could This BOMBSHELL News About Bill Clinton Derail the ‘Ready for Hillary’ Campaign?:

"For years, there have been allegations against Clinton for his sexual escapades. In fact, so many women have come forth throughout the years that the Clinton machine crafted the ‘nuts and sluts’ campaign in an attempt to victimize the victim once again in an effort to clear Slick Willy. Then presidential adviser Democrat James Carville crafted the campaign to morally degrade the accusers in order to make others question the truth behind their stories. Many believe that Hillary also had a hand in crafting this war on women campaign.

Now, as potential presidential candidates for 2016 are gearing up to launch their campaigns, there is more news that may point to Bill’s philandering sexcapades that Hillary most certainly would rather remain unknown."

Democrats Run As Pro-Gun To Get Elected, Then War Against Guns - Breitbart

Democrats Run As Pro-Gun To Get Elected, Then War Against Guns - Breitbart:

"For example, consider President Obama, who actually campaigned as a supporter of the Second Amendment to win his first presidential election.

According to Real Clear Politics, he said the following in 2008: “I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe in people’s lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away.” Fast forward to 2013 and Obama’s presidency was characterized by various gun pushes that included complete bans on certain types of rifles."
