MSM leaves out MAJOR details about black teen shot by police officer

MSM leaves out MAJOR details about black teen shot by police officer
There are three things in life that are guaranteed certainties: death, taxes, and every cop who shoots a black teenager will automatically be labeled a racist by the media.
Just about every time an incident occurs, evidence usually points to the fact the police officer was violently attacked by the thug, which is what led to their untimely demise.
Here’s a good case in point.
A black Wisconsin teenager–who turned out to be convicted of armed robbery–violently attacks a police officer, leaving the officer no choice but to use lethal force.
Is that the story mainstream media reports?
Of course not.
Let’s take a look at  how NBC covered this shooting in a post headlined: Black Teen Tony Robinson Shot Dead by Cop in Madison, Wisconsin, Was Unarmed. First, their lede:
The 19-year-old black man who was shot dead Friday during a confrontation with a police officer in Madison, Wisconsin, was unarmed, police said Saturday.
A “confrontation,” eh?
How wonderfully passive.
Zero indication of whether this confrontation might have been the responsibility of the black man or the police, except for the observation that the black man was unarmed–so, right in the first sentence they’ve established the ” cop shoots unarmed black teenager” narrative with which we’ve grown so tiresomely familiar.
Within hours of the incident, the family gets an official spokesman, and as you can probably guess, there were protests and sit-ins at Madison City Hall.
NBC then refers to a previous incident Officer Matt Kenny–the individual who shot Tony Robinson–was involved in where he shot and killed a man in what was later to be determined to be a “suicide-by-cop” situation.
He was cleared of any wrongdoing, but of course, the MSM brings this incident up because they’re doing their best to put together a narrative that paints this cop as a violent, crazed, homicidal, racist maniac.
Oh, it gets better.
NBC then goes on to include quotes from the family which seem to paint Robinson as a darling little angel incapable of doing wrong.
Sharon Irwin, Robins’s grandmother:   “He was a beautiful, beautiful soul and everybody that knew him knew that.”
Robinson’s aunt, Lorien Carter: “This is the type of child that you wanted to have in your life because he made it better.”
Conveniently, NBC left out a bunch of details that give context to Kenny’s decision to use lethal force against Robinson.
First off, Robinson wasn’t even remotely close to being the perfect angel he was made out to be in the piece.
In fact, he was a convicted armed robber.
So, what do we find in The Smoking Gun post that was left absent from the NBC piece?
As we did with the NBC piece, let’s start with the lede:
The unarmed Wisconsin teenager who was shot to death last night during a confrontation with a Madison cop pleaded guilty last year to armed robbery and recently began serving a three-year probation term for that felony conviction, court records show.
Oh and they left out this teeny tiny little detail about Robinson bashing Kenny in the head, knocking him to the ground, and engaging in a struggle.
I mean, seriously, this isn’t THAT important of a detail, right?
According to police, an officer responded Friday to a 911 call about a man who had assaulted a victim and was dodging cars in traffic.
The cop followed the suspect into a nearby apartment, where the man allegedly struck the officer in the head, knocking him to the ground.
During an ensuing struggle, patrolman Matt Kenny fatally shot the suspect...

Seriously? THIS is the #2 MOST IMPORTANT story of the day?-------Fallout continues at Univ. of Oklahoma over racist video

My Way News - Fallout continues at Univ. of Oklahoma over racist video:
"NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — A racist chant by several members of a University of Oklahoma fraternity that was caught on video led to outrage from the school's president and the organization's banishment from campus, but fallout from the incident appears far from over.
President David Boren said an investigation is underway to determine if some of the students could be expelled for violating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits racial discrimination.
The video, which was posted online, shows several people on a bus participating in a chant that included a racial slur, referenced lynching and indicated black students would never be admitted to OU's chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
"We are also going to look at any individual perpetrators, particularly those that we think took a lead in this kind of activity," Boren said.
The incident also had a profound effect on many of the roughly 1,400 black students who attend the university's Norman campus."

"Communism is so cool that some kids want it to be the theme for their prom.
I’m not sure if kids just don’t know about the reality of communism, (because teaching kindergarteners sex ed is MUCH more important than history) or if they know and just don’t care.
Instead of showing 8th graders graphic sex slideshows, maybe “America’s finest minds” could show our kids more clips like this.
This is what happens when government rules your life.
The video shows a typical Soviet Russia grocery store somewhere around 1986-1990.
This is the crap Reagan was calling out."

10 Reasons Why The Unemployment Numbers Are A Massive Lie

10 Reasons Why The Unemployment Numbers Are A Massive Lie
Editor’s Note: We have more people unemployed in America today than ever before and the real unemployment rate is hovering around the same levels as the Great Depression.
Nearly one in four Americans are unable to find work, but according to the statistics being released by the government and parroted by the mainstream media, we are now at ‘full employment’ in this country.
The nearly 50 million Americans on food stamps and over 90 million people who are not in the workforce might disagree...
In the following analysis Michael Snyder, author of The Beginning of the End and founder of The Economic Collapse Blog, explains what’s really happening on Main Street.
unemployment...#2 The percentage of working age Americans that have a job right now is still about the same as it was during the depths of the last recession.  Posted below is a chart that shows how the employment-population ratio has changed since the beginning of the decade.  Does this look like a full-blown “employment recovery” to you?…

#3 The primary reason for the decline in the official “unemployment rate” is the fact that the government now considers millions upon millions of long-term unemployed workers to “no longer be in the labor force”.  Just check out the following numbers
The number of Americans participating in the labor force has been on a decline for the past few years. Nearly 33 percent of the Americans above age 16 are not part of the workforce, the highest number since 1978. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) report issued recently has found 92,898,000 Americans above age 16 not a part of the labor force of the country as on February 2015.

When President Obama took over the office in January 2009, nearly 80,529,000 Americans were not a part of the labor force. The number has increase by nearly 12 million over the last few years...
Read on and demand the truth from our government!

Appropriate? Detroit's School Emergency Manager Got a $50,000 Bonus  –  Deadline Detroit
Considering the state of Detroit's public school system, some question whether its third emergency manager, Jack Martin, should have gotten bonuses totaling $50,000.
Ann Zaniewski of the Detroit Free Press writes that the Michigan Department of Treasury gave Jack Martin performance bonus in two payments — the first for $23,000 in 2013, and the second for $27,000, which went out around the time he stepped down in mid-January from his 18-month tenure. It was the most he could get under the contract.
"While there were no particular benchmarks (for the bonus pay), Martin worked to stabilize enrollment, restored numerous programs at the elementary and middle school levels, redesigned career tech programs and sold or leased numerous unused or vacant properties which generated millions of dollars for the district," Terry Stanton, spokesman for the Michigan Department of Treasury, wrote in an e-mail.
The Freep reports that Martin had a $225,000-a-year contract and his total compensation over the 18 months was $340,962, not including the bonus pay.
The Freep writes:
Critics point out that the district's ongoing deficit shot up to nearly $170 million under Martin — something the former emergency manager has attributed to several factors, including declining enrollment, a reduction in federal funding and a failed countywide school millage.

Republicans send letter to Iran amid nuke talks teaching them about ‘two features of our Constitution’ | TheBlaze.com:

"Almost half of the Senate, and nearly every Republican, warned Iran on Monday that it’s the role of Congress to approve international treaties, and that any agreement that fails to come before Congress would be treated as a short-term agreement with the Obama administration that could be quickly overturned.

“[W]e will consider any agreement regarding your nuclear-weapons program that is not approved by the Congress as nothing more than an executive agreement between President Obama and Ayatollah Khamenei,” they wrote in an open letter to Iran. “The next president could revoke such an executive agreement with the stroke of a pen and future Congresses could modify the terms of the agreement at any time.”

Giuliani Calls Obama ‘Extremely Reckless’ on Iran | TheBlaze.com:
"Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Saturday that he believes President Barack Obama’s pushing of negotiations with Iran is “extremely reckless” and that anyone who believes Iran can be trusted with a nuclear capability is “stupid.”
Following his speech at a conference in Berlin organized by Iranian exiles, Giuliani told the Associated Press, “What he [Obama] is doing with Iran right now is extremely reckless and it’s going to create an Iranian-controlled northern Middle East.”

Democrats buying "votes" agian-----Obama Amnesty To Grant $1.7 Billion In Taxpayer Cash To Illegals

Obama Amnesty To Grant $1.7 Billion In Taxpayer Cash To Illegals | The Daily Caller:
"President Barack Obama’s November amnesty will give $1.7 billion in taxpayers’ cash to illegal immigrants, according to a congressional study.
The news emerged two days after top Republican leaders overcame GOP opposition to a 2015 budget bill that allows Obama to fund his unpopular amnesty for roughly 5 million illegals.
“The program could cost taxpayers $1.7 billion over 10 years, almost all of it in the first five years,” according to a report by the McClatchy Washington Bureau.
The rebates are allowed by the IRS’ interpretation of existing laws governing the Earned Income Tax Credit program, which was designed to subsidize low-wage employment in the United States.
...There’s little evidence that Democrats will end their prior support for sending taxpayers’ money to illegal immigrants.
...The Congressional Budget Office says the $1.7 billion payment to illegals will be offset by $20 billion in new taxes from legalized illegals.
However, that $20 billion in new taxes would be paid anyway if unemployed Americans were offered the jobs.
Also, a wide variety of other costly government aid programs — and the migrants’ relatively low level of productivity — could push the cost of Obama’s unilateral amnesty above $2 trillion during the net five decades,  according to data published by the Heritage Foundation."

Trey Gowdy Says Turned Over Hillary Emails Contain ‘Huge Gaps’ — and Include Zero From Day This ‘Iconic Picture’ Was Taken | Video | TheBlaze.com:

"Gowdy said he’s also concerned that there were no emails from one specific day included in the trove of emails.

“There are gaps of months, and months, and months. And if you think to that iconic picture of her on a C-17 flying to Libya, she has sunglasses on and she has her handheld device in her hand — we have no emails from that day,” Gowdy told CBS anchor Bob Schieffer on “Face the Nation” Sunday morning.

“In fact, we have no emails from that trip,” he added. “So it strains credibility to believe that if you’re on your way to Libya to discuss Libyan policy, that there’s not a single document that’s been turned over to Congress. So there are huge gaps.”

80% of Firemen Are Fat and Out of Shape, Except When It Comes to Compensation

80% of Firemen Are Fat and Out of Shape, Except When It Comes to Compensation - Hit & Run : Reason.com:
You know the ideal of firemen as swoonsome, stoic hunks who keep us all safe from burning buildings, are gentle enough to rescue kittens from tall trees, and could easily step in to any of the male-stripper roles in Magic Mike 2.
Yeah, not so much. Via the Twitter feed of Omar Wasow comes this interestingNew York Times reality check on the morphology of firemen:
Four out of five firefighters nationwide are overweight or obese, and roughly half of all firefighters who die in the line of duty each year are killed by heart attacks.
It's worth pointing out that the often romanticized danger surrounding fire fighters is every bit as mythical as the idea that most of sport six-pack abs.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, neither fire fighters nor police officers are on the list of the deadliest professions in the U.S.
That list is topped by loggers, commercial fishermen, aircraft pilots and flights engineers, roofers, and garbagemen.
Nor are fire fighters in the top reaches of occupations with non-fatal injuries
More good news: The rate of injury among fire fighters is declining.

Yet it's the heightened sense of danger, risk, and sacrifice that is a major reason why public-sector fire fighters and police are able to extract relatively generous collective bargaining agreements with government negotiators and exemption from reforms of the same (recall that Gov. Scott Walker's showdown with Wisconsin public employees over benefits excluded police and fire fighters).
In California, for instance, fire fighters can retire with full benefits at age 57 (recently increased by a few years, incidentally) and the average retirement pension for a 30 year vet is over $86,000.
One of the ways fire fighters negotiate better deals is by arguing that public safety workers have shortened lifespans—in effect, they are not simply sacrificing themselves on the job but by taking the job in the first place.
Yet a 2010 study by CalPERS, which covers public-sector workers found that "the life expectancy of safety members is slightly higher than the life expectancy of miscellaneous members..."

"Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) says Chicago is the friendliest immigrant city in the nation since they,  “made sure that we no longer cooperate with immigration authorities when it comes to the deportation or separation of our families.”
Gutierrez made the comments while speaking to the City Club of Chicago last week.
“On immigration, I want to let everybody know, the city of Chicago is the friendliest immigrant city in the nation and Rahm Emmanuel had a lot to do with that,” Gutierrez said.
“He made sure that we no longer cooperate with immigration authorities when it comes to the deportation and separation of our families by using city structures.

Study: No Shortage Of Obamacare Alternatives | The Daily Caller

Study: No Shortage Of Obamacare Alternatives | The Daily Caller:

"As the Supreme Court considers whether to restrict Obamacare subsidies, a new report seeks to refute the false perception that conservatives have not offered any credible alternatives.

The Supreme Court began hearing oral arguments Wednesday in the case of King v. Burwell, which hinges on a provision of Obamacare stipulating that only plans purchased through state-based exchanges are eligible for subsidies. President Obama and his supporters contend that the restriction is a simple linguistic oversight, but lawmakers who participated in the law’s creation said it was very much intentional."

Chicago has more retired police and firefighters than working

Chicago has more retired police and firefighters than working – WP Original | WirePoints Illinois Financial News:
"Among the many reasons Chicago’s police and fire pensions are grossly underfunded are inadequate long-term planning, legislated benefit increases, pension holidays and overall kicking-the-can-down-the-road.
Another factor working against Chicago is the imbalance between active and retired public safety officers.
The New York City police pension received some unwelcome attention recently because the number of retirees it supports exceeds the number of active police on the streets.
Little known fact: Chicago has the same upside-down relationship between its active and retired public safety departments.
Policemen’s Annuity and Benefit Fund reports for 2013 show participants in the pension plan include 12,161 active police versus 13,159 police retirees/survivors.
In addition, a large portion of the active force is nearing or eligible for retirement, with 34% aged 45-54 and 25% having 20 or more years of service.
...The firefighters’ fund has just 24 cents for every dollar it owes pensioners; the policemen’s fund just 30 cents.
Fixing them will be exceptionally difficult."

NATO's Not Enough! President Juncker Calls For Creation Of European Army To "React Credibly" To Russia | Zero Hedge:
No lessor official than European Commission President (and liar-when-it's-serious) Jean-Claude Juncker has called for the creation of an EU army... in order to show Russia "that [The EU is] serious about defending European values." Juncker explained an EU army would "help us fulfil Europe's responsibilities in the world," arguing that NATO was not enough since not all EU members are part of the alliance. As one stunned euro-skeptic exclaimed, "we have all seen the utter mess the EU has made of the economy, so how can we even think of trusting them with its defence."
The EU is divided on how to deal with an increasingly forthright Russia, but as The FT reports,
The president of the European Commission has called for the creation of an EU army in order to show Russia “that we are serious about defending European values”.

In an interview with German newspaper Die Welt, Jean-Claude Juncker, who leads the EU’s executive arm, said an EU army would let the continent “react credibly to threats to peace in a member state or a neighbour of the EU”...

Sorry, I was an idiot.

Here’s our contemporary world as it actually exists: Ayaan Hirsi Ali — a woman who has had a clitoridectomy and has had literally hundreds of death threats, maybe thousands, risking her life daily fighting the horrible mistreatment of her sex under Islamic Sharia — has her honorary degree withheld by Brandeis University while Hillary Clinton — the putative Democratic Party nominee (still, I guess) for president — takes multimillion dollar donations from Saudi Arabia, where women aren’t even allowed to drive."

Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority
GOLD STANDARD:
After facing criminal charges for misusing federal terrorism funds, the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority was given a Gold Standard award by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Only months after the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority was the subject of a federal investigation involving the misuse of U.S. Department of Homeland Security terrorism funds, the Tampa Bay-area transit agency is being honored by DHS for “outstanding security.”
...The celebration and glowing media statements might leave the impression that in August, the PSTA didn’t in fact “volunteer” to return hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to DHS for effectively using federal terrorism funds to persuade Pinellas County voters into supporting a ballot question that would lead to the highest sales tax rate in Florida.
But it did.
After repeatedly denying any wrongdoing, PSTA returned $354,000 it improperly spent on promoting a failed multibillion-dollar public transit expansion, called Greenlight Pinellas.
If passed, it would have dramatically increased PSTA’s budget.
