Before Dems Yell 'TREASON' At Republicans, They Should Look In The Mirror - Chicks on the Right

Before Dems Yell 'TREASON' At Republicans, They Should Look In The Mirror - Chicks on the Right:

"That’s right. Sen. Ted Kennedy– the dude who drove off a bridge and left the girl for dead because he was too concerned with himself/damage control– went to the Soviets, asking them to intervene in the 1984 elections.

According to Soviet documents unearthed in the early 1990′s, Kennedy literally asked the Soviets, avowed enemies of the U.S., to intervene on behalf of the Democratic party in the 1984 elections. Kennedy’s communist communique was so secret that it was not discovered until 1991, eight years after Kennedy had initiated his Soviet gambit:"

Calls escalate to kill U.S. crude oil export ban

Calls escalate to kill U.S. crude oil export ban - Watchdog.org:
With U.S. oil producers running out of storage space, some industry experts and academics are calling for an end to the country’s export ban.
“The policy rationale for the ban no longer exists, and there are compelling economic and national security reasons for lifting the ban at some point,”
...The Obama administration and Congress don’t seem poised to change anything
And with them are ban defenders — ranging from environmentalists to domestic oil refiners that produce petroleum products for the domestic market — who are digging in.
...The crude oil export ban was implemented in 1975, when the nation, reeling from the Arab oil embargo, passed the Energy Policy and Conservation Act in an attempt to control prices and ensure crude oil produced in the U.S. stayed in the U.S.
But the oil landscape has changed. Horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing ushered in the “shale revolution,” boosting domestic production to record levels
Consequently, the U.S. is importing less foreign oil.
Chart by Ed Morse, Citi Research. Sources: EIA, DrillingInfo,Citi Research
Chart by Ed Morse, Citi Research. Sources: EIA, DrillingInfo,Citi Research
GOING DOWN: Net oil imports to the United States have declined steadily.
The Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University issued a study last month that says ending the ban would allow domestic oil producers to compete in global markets, and that would help consumers by putting downward pressure on prices.
...The Brookings study predicted that by lifting the ban, the U.S. gross domestic product could grow by as much as $1.8 trillion in the next 25 years.
Another factor in the debate centers on the oil itself.
Most of the crude getting tapped with new shale techniques in the U.S. is  “light, sweet” — oil that is relatively light in density and low in sulfur content
But most U.S. refineries are outfitted to process “heavy” crude, and the industry has spent $85 billion in the past 25 years refitting plants to process heavier crude....

Yeah. There IS racism on campus-------: Here's Real Evidence of Racism at the University of Oklahoma

DATA: Here's Real Evidence of Racism at the University of Oklahoma - GotNews:
Two University of Oklahoma frat boys have been expelled over a video that shows them singing racially insensitive things about blacks.
While that kind of restriction is appalling it’s not really all that systemic. Isn’t racism, at least according to the left and critical race theory, the ability to inflict power?
The persistent, illegal racial discrimination by the University of Oklahoma is actually far more destructive–especially if you want a qualified doctor or lawyer in Oklahoma.
The Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity sang the following:

There will never be a nigger at SAE
There will never be a nigger at SAE
You can hang him from a tree
But he’ll never sign with me
There will never be a nigger at SAE

Were there really lots of blacks tripping over themselves to be admitted to SAE?
It’s hard to say.
But there have been whites and Asians who have been routinely discriminated against in favor of lesser qualified black,
Hispanic and Native American candidates by the University of Oklahoma’s undergraduate, law school, and medical school admissions department.
The Center for Equality in Opportunity published a report detailing just how racist admissions was at the University of Oklahoma.

Here are some of the key findings.

Law School
Black-white median LSAT gaps of 6 (equivalent to a combined math-verbal SAT gap of over 100); undergraduate GPA gap as well.
105 whites rejected despite higher LSAT scoresand undergraduate GPAs than median black admittee.
Black-to-white odds ratio of 5.5 to 1 and American Indian-to-white odds ratio of 2.3 to 1.

If a non-African American applicant had the same credentials as the median African American admittee, he or she would have had a significantly smaller chance of admission.
Specifically, while an African American applicant with these credentials would have a 60% chance of admission, an identically credentialed American Indian applicant would have only a 39% chance of admission, a Hispanic applicant only 24%, a white applicant only 22%, and an Asian American applicant only a 15% chance.

Undergraduate
Black-white and black-Asian ACT gap of 4 (equivalent to a combined math-verbal SAT gap of 160); high-school GPA gaps as well.
Relatively small but still statistically significant black-to-white and American Indian-to-white odds ratios.

Medical School
MCAT and undergraduate GPA gaps between white and Asian admittees versus URM (“underrepresented minority” – i.e., American Indian, African American, and Hispanic) admittees.
In the most recent year analyzed, 29 whites and 2 Asian American applicants rejected despite higher MCAT scores and undergraduate GPAs than the median URM admittee.
Odds ratios favoring URM applicants over white applicants were approximately 5 to 1.

If a white or Asian applicant had the same credentials as the average URM admittee, that applicant would have had a significantly smaller chance of admission. That is, URMs would have a 72% chance of admission, compared to 34% for an Asian American and 35% for a white applicant with the same qualifications.
The charts speak for themselves, though.

Rand Paul’s Epic Rant: ‘I’m Not Particularly Happy With Being Lectured to by the Administration About the Constitution’ | TheBlaze.com:

"Paul was one of the 47 senators who signed the letter, and replied by saying that letter was really a message to the Obama administration that it doesn’t understand that Congress has a role to play here.

“The message I was sending was to you,” Paul said. “The message was to President Obama, that we want you to obey the law, we want you to understand the separation of powers.”

“I signed it to an administration that doesn’t listen, to an administration that at every turn tries to go around Congress, because you think you can’t get your way,” he added. “The president says, ‘oh, the Congress won’t do what I want, so I’ve got a pen and I’ve got my phone and I’m going to do what I want.’ The letter was to you.”

Why not get the homeless "outdoor TVs"?------Richland teens decide to dress up Bronson Park with clothes for the homeless

Richland teens decide to dress up Bronson Park with clothes for the homeless | MLive.com
KALAMAZOO, MI -- Two Sundays ago, anyone wandering through downtown Kalamazoo might have wondered if someone had pulled a prank in Bronson Park.
On that Sunday, there was clothing strewn across the park, hanging from trees and draped over statues.
But it was no prank.
It was the work of a group of students from First Presbyterian Church of Richland, who had decided they had enough of talking about what Jesus would do.
They wanted to do what Jesus would do.
The students conducted a clothing drive at church and that Sunday they distributed the items in the park, with tags that said, "I am not lost! If you are stuck out in the cold, please take this to keep warm! Your friends at First Presbyterian Church of Richland."
..."High school kids don't want to go to church. They're bored," she said.
...They brought the items to Bronson Park where they draped the items over tree branches, along benches and on the statues of children.
Addressing the needs of the homeless will remain the group's focus throughout the school year. In addition to the clothing drive, the students are helping with the church's food pantry and launching special drives to ensure children who come to the pantry get to choose treats -- just like any other kid on a shopping trip..."

Idiocracy: Food Packaging Should Have Traffic Light Labels?

Idiocracy: Food Packaging Should Have Traffic Light Labels? | The Daily Sheeple
...“Should food products be labeled with traffic light symbols to make health-related information on ingredients easier to understand?”
Apparently, this very topic has been up for debate.
According to researchers at the University of Bonn.
writer would like to show you that this is really only yet another study that benefits Big Food, not the obesity-ridden consumer.
As you may have guessed – they’ve decided that Americans would respond better to traffic light labels to resist foods the researchers deem as “bad” – that is, high-calorie foods and foods that contain unspecified levels of salt, sugar and fat.
In a study recently published in the journal Obesity, researchers observed brain scans of participants making food purchasing decisions.
press release explains:
Red, yellow, green: The traffic signal labels on packages are supposed to be an easy-to-understand indication of the overall “healthiness” of a food product. For example, “red” symbolizes a high percentage of fat, sugar or salt, “green” a lower percentage. Just as on an actual traffic light, yellow falls in the middle. ” This is the first study that analyzes the effect that traffic light signals have on the evaluation processes in the consumer’s brain when making a purchase decision”, says Prof. Dr. Bernd Weber of the Center for Economics and Neuroscience (CENs) at the University of Bonn. Do the “traffic lights” help consumers choose a healthier diet when grocery shopping? Scientists from the CENs have addressed this question in a recent study.
“The traffic light label appears to enable the study participants to better resist unhealthy foods compared to a label containing the traditional information on grams and percentages of the particular ingredients...

NZ Prime Minister: 'I'll Resign If GCSB Did Mass Surveillance'; GCSB: 'We Did Mass Surveillance'; NZPM: 'Uh...'

NZ Prime Minister: 'I'll Resign If GCSB Did Mass Surveillance'; GCSB: 'We Did Mass Surveillance'; NZPM: 'Uh...' | Techdirt:
from the start-the-parsing dept
Back in the summer of 2013 as the various "Five Eyes" countries were still reeling from the initial Snowden disclosures, New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key promised to resign if it was ever proven that the GCSB (New Zealand's equivalent to the NSA) had engaged in mass surveillance of New Zealanders -- but with some caveats.
He later said that he meant if it was proven that there was illegal surveillance going on.
But of course, what's legal can vary based on who's in charge.
Either way, late last year there were Snowden documents that proved GCSB regularly scooped up data on New Zealanders, and Key reacted to it by calling Glenn Greenwald "a loser."
Not quite the resignation you might have expected.

Then, of course, last week there were further revelations of GCSB doing mass surveillance on a bunch of neighboring countries.
In response to that, a former director of the GCSB, Bruce Ferguson, admitted that of course the GCSB was engaged in mass surveillance, but he thinks it's okay because it "discards items it cannot have."
"The whole method of surveillance these days, is sort of a mass collection situation – individualized: that is mission impossible.”
And, later:
"You cannot these days just individually select people ... you put out a big net, catch stuff, you throw out the stuff you don't want ... and you keep the stuff you do want."
In other words, the GCSB does mass surveillance. So what is Prime Minister John Key now saying about this? Well, first, he will no longer promise that mass surveillance isn't taking place, because of course he can't. Furthermore, he now says that even if mass surveillance is shown he won't resign.

And that leads up to an interview done by Radio New Zealand with Key, in which he just starts tap dancing like crazy:

Interviewer: “Nicky Hager’s revelations late last week . . . have stoked fears that New Zealanders’ communications are being indiscriminately caught in that net. . . . The Prime Minister, John Key, has in the past promised to resign if it were found to be mass surveillance of New Zealanders . . . Earlier, Mr. Key was unable to give me an assurance that mass collection of communications from New Zealanders in the Pacific was not taking place.”
PM Key: “No, I can’t. I read the transcript [of former GCSB Director Bruce Ferguson’s interview] – I didn’t hear the interview – but I read the transcript, and you know, look, there’s a variety of interpretations – I’m not going to critique–”
Interviewer: “OK, I’m not asking for a critique. Let’s listen to what Bruce Ferguson did tell us on Friday:”
Ferguson: “The whole method of surveillance these days, is sort of a mass collection situation – individualized: that is mission impossible.”
Interviewer: “And he repeated that several times, using the analogy of a net which scoops up all the information. . . . I’m not asking for a critique with respect to him. Can you confirm whether he is right or wrong?”
Key: “Uh, well I’m not going to go and critique the guy. And I’m not going to give a view of whether he’s right or wrong” . . . .
Interviewer: “So is there mass collection of personal data of New Zealand citizens in the Pacific or not?”
Key: “I’m just not going to comment on where we have particular targets, except to say that where we go and collect particular information, there is always a good reason for that....”

It Begins… Illegal Aliens Demand Safer Way to Sneak Into US

It Begins… Illegal Aliens Demand Safer Way to Sneak Into US | The Gateway Pundit:
Not the Onion
Several illegal immigrants held a rally Tuesday demanding a safer way to sneak into the United States.
MyFOXDC reported:
After risking their lives in the hopes of making it into the United States, migrants from Central American are demanding safer ways to cross the border.
Thousands of immigrants jump on a freight train called the “La Bestia” — which means “The Beast.” and the name holds true meaning.
Along the route many will end up either losing their limbs or being killed as a result of falling under the wheels.
Many others end up being robbed or attacked by gangs.
If that is not enough of a risk, if you make it alive, you still have a chance of getting caught and arrested.
During a protest Monday, more than a dozen people in attendance had lost a limb in their attempt to cross the border.

Giant methane storms on Uranus

Giant methane storms on Uranus:
"Most of the times we have looked at Uranus, it has seemed to be a relatively calm place.
...However, all we have previously known about the atmosphere of Uranus has been 'thrown to the wind' with observations made last year.
In August 2014 a group led by Imke de Pater pointed the Keck telescope at Uranus and were a little bit surprised to see storms raging.
It wasn't as though clouds haven't been seen before, but the clouds they spotted last year were very much brighter than any seen before.
The fact that the storms are bright in the methane spectrum isn't a surprise – Uranus, and its neighbour Neptune, are pretty much just big balls of methane, water and ammonia (but it does make for a snigger-worthy headline)."

LIBERTY REVIEW

LIBERTY REVIEW:

http://libertyreview76.blogspot.com/2015/03/lexington-concord-by-tammy-derouin-i.html

Lexington Concord

By Tammy Derouin

I recently purchased a copy of a print depicting the Battle of Lexington.  Lexington Concord was described by Ralph Waldo Emerson as the, “shot heard ‘round the world.”  The long, agonizing war which would take man out of darkness, giving him control of his future and would secure the blessings of liberty for generations to come, was underway.  The American Revolution had begun but The Declaration of Independence had yet to be penned.

The founders knew that signing their names to the Declaration of Independence was a death sentence.  They recognized tyranny, having lived through the listed grievances.  They understood
that failure would mean death but victory would mean freedom and independence.  Freedom and liberty was worth risking their lives, fortunes and sacred honor.

The king had an interesting definition of treason.  King George III said, “A traitor is everyone who does not agree with me.”

Arm coeds with guns to defend against campus rape

TRENDING: Arm coeds with guns to defend against campus rape
Alleged ‘campus rape epidemic’ sparks fiery debate over allowing guns on campuses
An alleged “campus rape epidemic” facing colleges today is having an unforeseen side effect – it’s bolstering efforts to allow students to carry guns on campuses.
The oft-cited yet unsubstantiated stat that one in five college women will be sexually assaulted or raped has turned into a battle cry of sorts among those who declare these women should have the means to defend themselves with a firearm.
“Lawmakers in 10 states who are pushing bills that would permit the carrying of firearms on campus are hoping that the national spotlight on sexual assault will help them win passage of their measures,”The New York Times reported recently.
A sponsor of a bill in Nevada, Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, told the Times: “If these young, hot little girls on campus have a firearm, I wonder how many men will want to assault them. The sexual assaults that are occurring would go down once these sexual predators get a bullet in their heads.”

Benghazi Probe Chief: Clinton email records contain ‘Huge gaps’:

"Yahoo News has reported that huge gaps exist in the emails that Hillary Clinton has turned into the congressional committee investigating the 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya.

Trey Gowdy said that his committee does not have documentation from the time frame during her trip to Libya after the attack.  Gowdy has the following to say about the missing documentation,

“We have no emails from that day.  In fact we had no emails from that trip. There are huge gaps.”
