Illegal Aliens Demand Safer Way to Sneak into United States:

There was once a day when illegal immigrants tried to hide the fact that they were blatantly violating immigration laws, but now, not only do they break the law in record numbers, but they are protesting for easier access to the American border."

Lazy for a Living: Why Some Millennials Never Need to Work Again
Lazy for a Living: Why Some Millennials Never Need to Work Again | Somewhat Reasonable
...But despite the numerous opportunities presented to Millennials, my generation also has the ability to choose to reject traditional nine-to-five work due to decades of policy changes and an unprecedented effort to redistribute American wealth.
A savvy Millennial with a desire to avoid work at all costs can navigate the government’s bureaucracy, and without breaking a single law, can live the rest of his or her life without paying for anything.
“Of course you could live off of government services,” you’re thinking, “but who wants to live in a perpetual state of poverty?”
That’s the insanity of the system.
You no longer have to be poor to receive government services.
All you need to do is go to graduate school.
When a student is enrolled in an undergraduate program, the student may only borrow a total of $31,000 for costs.
The remainder of the costs must be paid by private student loans or by a parent’s federal student loans.
If a student doesn’t have parents who are eligible to borrow, the federal government allows a student to borrow up to $57,500 for expenses.
Students are not required to pay any federal loans back while enrolled in school, and loans can be used to pay for living costs, including food, housing, and other necessary expenses.

Under President Obama’s rule, illegal immigrants will be eligible for social security payments — and they’ll be credited for the time they’ve been working illegally, in some cases.
...Therefore, illegal immigrants who have previously paid into the social security system — while using a fraudulent social security number, for instance — will be eligible for benefits derived from that system.
Those benefits include retirement, disability and survivor payments.
Those benefits include retirement, disability and survivor payments.
The CRS admits that some immigrants could have trouble proving that they were using a specific, fake social security number while working illegally.
'''When Obama announced his executive action back in November 2014, a White House official claimed that affected illegal immigrants wouldn’t be eligible for social security payments.
But by December, the White House had reversed course, claiming that the official misspoke.

Cable news reverses baffling hate-speech analysis by its own ‘legal expert’
REPORT: Cable news reverses baffling hate-speech analysis by its own ‘legal expert’:
"HLN, the sibling cable network to CNN, has an in-house “legal expert” named Joey Jackson who specializes in criminal law.
It asked him to weigh in on whether the University of Oklahoma’s expulsion of the alleged leaders of a racist chant on a bus was unconstitutional.
According to former College Fix editor Robby Soave at Reason, Jackson was initially quoted as saying: “Hate speech is not protected by the Constitution as it has no social value.”
That analysis puts him at odds with mainstream constitutional law authorities.
At some later point, HLN actually reversed his quote, Soave says in an update to his post. Jackson’s quote now reads: “Hate speech is protected by the Constitution despite its limited social value.”
There’s no editor’s note in the HLN story saying the post has been revised, much less how it was revised, or whether Jackson was initially misquoted or asked that his quote be revised.
This is standard practice in Web journalism."

Ferguson Protester Hears Facts From DOJ Report for First Time as Hannity Reads It to Him Live On-Air | Video | TheBlaze.com:
"Fox News host Sean Hannity clashed with a Ferguson protester on Friday night, roughly 24 hours after two police officers were shot outside the city’s police headquarters. It took less than five minutes for the debate to grow heated.
Responding to the shooting of the officers, Ivory Ned called it a “reaction” to the killing of Michael Brown by Ferguson officer Darren Wilson. “I’m not saying it was right,” he added.
“You should be saying it’s wrong,” Hannity shot back. He later asked, “I think the story here is…people shouldn’t be shooting cops. I don’t hear you saying that, why not?”

White Federal Judge Shot by Black Thug... Where's the Media?
The liberal mainstream media rushed to report about the justified shooting of Michael Brown by an upstanding Ferguson police officer last August, but they seem awfully reluctant to cover the recent unjustified shooting of a white federal judge by a black thug.
The victim is District Court Judge Terrence G. Berg, a 55-year-old white resident of Michigan who was shot in the thigh last Thursday evening by two black men who were trying to rob him outside his home.
...Even worse news is that the liberal mainstream media is barely covering this story, which bodes exceptionally well for Judge Terrence G. Berg’s assailants.
Apparently, justified police shootings committed by white police officers are wrong, but criminal shootings by black thugs — well, that’s another story.
Or, rather, it’s not a story at all, according to the mainstream media."

Jesse Jackson: It’s Racist To Call Me And Al Sharpton “Race Baiters”… | The Daily Sheeple
"Wow. REALLY???
"Wow. REALLY???
So not only is everything racist that they say is racist, but you are now racist for calling them race baiters.
And we’ve come full circle, ladies and gentlemen…
Via Red Flag News via Breitbart:
Tuesday on NewsMax TV’s “MidPoint,” Rev. Jesse Jackson addressed accusations of race-baiting by black leaders such as himself and Al Sharpton by comparing them to race baiting allegations from infamous segregationist George Wallace towards civil rights icon Rev. Martin Luther King.
“I will tell you there are people who have appeared on this show before, who every time we discuss the leaders of the black movement in this country, they take your name and they put it in the same sentence as Al Sharpton and they say the two of you, people have said this on our show, are race baiting and you are not doing it properly, and you are not serving the needs of the black community,” host Ed Berliner said.
Jackson replied, “You know Dr. King was accused of being a race baiter as he fought the forces of the south, as he fought George Wallace,” adding, “they called him a communist at the same time.”

American "Nightmare" Shocker: The Real US Homeownership Rate Has Never Been Lower | The Daily Sheeple:
The transformation of the American Dream, most broadly manifested in popular folklore as the aspiration of the US middle-class to own a home (even if it means agreeing to a 30-year loan with one’s friendly neighborhood TBTF bank), into the American Nightmare, in which an entire generation (the Millennials) is locked out of purchasing a home due to over $1 trillion in student loans hanging over every financial decision, an abysmal jobs market (for everyone but college educated “waiters and bartenders” whose hiring is on a tear), and banks’ unwillingness to lend money to anyone that can fog a mirror, and forcing millions of Americans to rent instead of buy, has been duly documented here before.

As we showed most recently in October, the officially reported US homeownership rate, after peaking during the first housing/credit bubble, has been plunging in a straight line and is now the lowest since 1994.

By rights, Stephen Jimenez ought to be a famous author and his book a bestseller - and taught in journalism schools, law school, and police academy to boot.
Because his subject - the murder of Matthew Shepard 17 years ago - is the clearest example of what happens when a favored lobby group inserts itself between the news coverage and reality.
The official version - gay martyrdom in the heartland of a bigoted rural America - is still being peddled, in The Huffington Post and on the Oprah Network.
The fact that it is completely false makes no difference to the Big Gay enforcers, as Mr Jimenez, who is himself gay, discovered when he set out to tell the truth about what happened.

The fact that it is completely false makes no difference to the Big Gay enforcers, as Mr Jimenez, who is himself gay, discovered when he set out to tell the truth about what happened.
A few days ago Spiked! in Britain carried a fascinating interview with Jimenez:
Stephen Jimenez spent 13 years researching The Book of Matt: Hidden Truths About the Murder of Matthew Shepard, which argues that the Matthew Shepard story, a US 21-year-old student who was allegedly beaten to death for being gay in 1998, as it has been popularly told has little, if anything, to do with the details of Matthew's life and death. He spoke with me this week about the book, and some of the well-guarded territory it covers.
Mark Adnum: You've said that the media reported the story of Matthew's murder 'inaccurately from the beginning', and as a result 'an overtly simplistic narrative got set in stone'. What core elements of the story are inaccurate?
Stephen Jimenez: Nearly every national news organisation originally reported that Matthew Shepard and his killers were strangers on the night they met. But Aaron McKinney and Matthew Shepard were not strangers. On the contrary, they had a tangled friendship and personal relationship that involved sex and drugs, primarily crystal meth. They partied together, bought and sold meth from each other, and had gotten to know each other months before the October 1998 attack. Interestingly, Aaron and Matthew were friends before Aaron and his accomplice Russell Henderson began their friendship in early summer 1998.

You know, I was thinking, this isn't a throwback to the nineties.
This is a throwback to the seventies.
When I heard Hillary say, you know, she was releasing 55,000 e-mails, it reminded me of Nixon sitting with, behind him, thousands of black three-punch-hole binders and saying,
"I'm releasing all this information," and then when they opened the binders there was only like one page in each. And then she said, "I'm not giving up this server."
It's like Nixon not wanting to give up Checkers, his dog. She doesn't want to."

The solar energy mistake America must avoid
The solar energy mistake America must avoid - Watchdog.org:
"Despite billions of dollars in subsidies and tax incentives, solar energy still accounts for just 0.6 percent of total electrical output in the United States, reports the Taxpayer Protection Alliance. Touted as “as a potential solution to address both environmental concerns and the need for greater domestic energy independence,” solar energy is rather both an illustration of crony capitalism and the broken window fallacy.
...In other words, government authorities deemed solar (and wind) worthy of money they wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.
Indeed, when a financial corporation believes a loan will be paid back with interest, it will give the loan.
It’s business 101.
But when the government guarantees the loan, the person getting the money incurs virtually no risk should he or she be unable to pay back.
...In addition to wasting taxpayers’ money in these endeavors, the Obama administration has also shown, once more, that government cannot create jobs, nor wealth.
...With the solar nightmare, taxpayers had to cough up over $150 billion in subsidies between 2009 and 2014, in addition to more than $9 billion in various preferential treatments.
...The researchers estimated that every green job created destroyed 2.2 jobs elsewhere (or 4:9 to use whole numbers).
Proportionally for the U.S., this would result in the destruction of as many as 11 million jobs.
And the green jobs that were “created” in Spain came with a hefty price tag of at least 571,000 € (over $618,000).
Finally, in order to pay back the feed-in tariffs–a subsidy allowing more expensive energy like solar to be produced–electricity rates would have to increase 31 percent.
...Will Americans make the same mistake the Spanish made?"

School says it’s purely a financial decision – trial ain’t cheap
Scientific research at universities is supposed to involve inquiry into established theories and hypotheses.
That is, unless they question environmental regulations.
One UCLA science researcher, a 34-year veteran of the school, found himself out of a job in 2011 after examining the data underlying diesel regulations proposed by a California regulator and exposing the shoddy credentials of a lead author of that regulator’s report.
James Enstrom secured victory in a two-and-a-half year legal battle against UCLA last week when the school agreed to settle the case.
The school is paying the “diesel particulate matter” expert $140,000, reinstating his title as “Retired Researcher,” and restoring his access to UCLA resources, “effectively” rescinding his termination, according to the American Center for Law & Justice, which represented Enstrom.
...UCLA retaliated against Enstrom after he “became an aggressive and lone critic at UCLA of air pollution research,” escalating in 2008 after he testified in California Senate hearings, according to alawsuit filed by the center in 2012.
...Enstrom exposed fraudulent behavior in the studies on which the board relied, including that of the lead author of a 2008 report.
Hien Tran “admitted he purchased” a magna cum laude Ph.D. for $1,000 from a “diploma mill associated with a fugitive pedophile,” according to CalWatchdog.

Articles: Why China Will Lose the War It is Planning:
How do we know the war is coming in the first place?
How do we know the war is coming in the first place?
Because the advertising for it is out.
Amongst plenty of other evidence, one Chinese front organisation conducted a poll on Australian attitudes to the ANZUS treaty and a Chinese attack on Japan. Why would they conduct such a poll unless they are going to attack Japan?
Not that they were interested in the results as such.
They just wanted to be able to publicize the poll in order to try to keep Australia on the sidelines of their war.
The war will have two functions for China.
Firstly, it will provide legitimacy for the regime as economic growth stalls.
Secondly, the Chinese will have pride in humiliating their neighbouring countries, and the United States, by defeating them in battle and creating no-go zones in the oceans which other countries won’t be able to enter without Chinese permission.
The war will have nothing to do with oil and gas resources under the seabed and securing sea-lanes. The Chinese have never offered those excuses for their behavior themselves.
The excuses are the creation of Western pundits for something that otherwise is stupid, destructive, and primitive.
Some have seen this war coming well in advance.
In 2005, Robert Kaplan wrote an article entitled How We Would Fight China.
In it he notes that China will approach the war “asymmetrically, as terrorists do.
In Iraq the insurgents have shown us the low end of asymmetry, with car bombs.
the Chinese are poised to show us the high end of the art.”

The 'Astroturf' Campaign to Force Employers to Give Paid Sick Time
The 'Astroturf' Campaign to Force Employers to Give Paid Sick Time [Michigan Capitol Confidential]
...Nevertheless, Our Kitchen Table is one of several obscure organizations listed in media reports as backers of recently introduced paid-leave requirements.
Of the seven organizations named as part of the “statewide coalition,” three are obscure organizations based out of Royal Oak and three others are located in Detroit.
All the organizations appear to have just a handful of employees, and some appear to have just one staff member, based on information from the organizations’ websites
...Charles Owens, state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, said the campaign in favor of paid sick leave was trying to mask its real sponsors – something commonly known as “astroturfing.”
“Despite the advocates efforts to give the illusion of a 'homegrown, grass roots movement', the fact is that this is a national movement backed by big labor organizations,” Owens said.
“We have reports of a very organized and unified effort in many states following the same tactics, including a federal push.”
Here’s a look at organizations, other than Our Kitchen Table, that are members of the “statewide coalition,” with information obtained from the organizations’ websites and Guidestar.

Obamacare's 1095-A Nightmare
Obamacare's 1095-A Nightmare | RealClearPolitics:
"Tax season is stressful enough.
But if you are like countless miserable Americans trapped in the Obamacare 1095-A abyss, it's hell on stilts on a Segway teetering over the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
The screw-ups, incompetence and bureaucratic blame avoidance over the health insurance exchange tax forms make the healthcare.gov website fiasco look like a flawless product launch.
How do I know?
My family inexplicably got ensnared in the 1095-A paperwork pit.
It's a government roach motel: Taxpayers check in, but they can never check out.
In 2013, our private high-deductible PPO from Anthem Blue Cross got canceled because of "changes from health care reform (also called the Affordable Care Act or ACA)."
Millions of others like us in the individual market for health insurance -- including self-employed people, small-business owners, writers, artists and home-based entrepreneurs -- suffered the same fate.
...Better off?
Bullcrap.
But wait, it gets worse.
Somewhere along the way, the worker bees at Connect for Health Colorado dragooned us into an Obamacare exchange plan offered by Rocky Mountain Health without our knowledge or consent. (How else has the White House inflated Obamacare enrollment figures? Things that make you go "hmm.")
Last month, we received an IRS 1095-A form, which, much to our shock and chagrin, indicated that we had paid Obamacare premiums every month during 2014.
It took hours of time on the phone and Internet to receive an explanation from Connect for Health Colorado on how exactly this happened.
Here was the government's response, word for incomprehensible word:
"We apologize for the delay in responding to your email.
After checking your account we are showing you might have had coverage from October 2014 to June 2014.
Please call the number below to speak with a Customer Service Representative if this information is incorrect."
"Might" have had coverage? From "October 2014 to June 2014"?
