Russian Warships Dock In Iran As Iranian Military Leader Said THIS About U.S. Troops!

Russian Warships Dock In Iran As Iranian Military Leader Said THIS About U.S. Troops! - Allen West Republic:
Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi: ‘Only the dead body of the American troops realizes the power of’ Iran’
As Reported By Adam Kredo for The Washington Free Beacon:
Two Russian warships have docked in northern Iran for a series of naval training exercises with the Islamic Republic, according to Persian-language reports translated by the CIA’s Open Source Center.
The two Russian ships docked in Iran’s Anzali port on Sunday and will hold “joint naval exercises during the three-day stay of the warships in Iran,” according to a Persian-language report in Iran’s state-controlled Fars News Agency.
“The [Russian] warships, Volgodonsk and Makhachkala docked in Anzali Port [near the Caspian Sea], in the fourth naval zone, on the afternoon of 9 August,” the report says.
The war exercises come just weeks after Iran and global powers inked a nuclear accord that will provide Iran with billions of dollars in sanctions relief in return for slight restrictions on the country’s nuclear program.
Russian and Iran have grown close in recent years, with delegations from each country regularly visiting one another to ink arms deals and other agreements aimed at strengthening Iran’s nuclear program.
Russia and Iran agreed earlier this year to begin construction on several new nuclear power plants. Russia has also agreed to sell Iran a controversial advanced missile defense system that can prevent attacks by Western powers.
The Russian fleet docked in Iran’s port “carrying a message of ‘peace and friendship,’” according to Iranian officials quoted by Fars. The fleet was “welcomed by Iranian naval commanders and staff.”

Iran Just Made This Deal with China... And It Means They're Ready For War - Allen B. West - AllenBWest.com:

"Something tells me Obama’s not as concerned about this, as the Jerusalem Post article states. If Obama were concerned, he wouldn’t have entered into this dangerous agreement with Iran. If Obama was concerned, he wouldn’t be decimating our own military capacity and capability — to include our now having the oldest and smallest fighter fleet since we created the modern U.S. Air Force. If Obama was concerned, he wouldn’t castigate opposition to his agreement as equal to the folks who are buying fighter jets from China.

Obama went to the U.N. Security Council to get approval for this folly. Now, two sitting members of that council have begun arms deals with Iran. In the words of Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday in “Tombstone,” now ain’t that a daisy?"

School District Gives Teachers Raises, Has Deficit, Blames State that Gave Them an Extra $5 Million [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"One of the state’s larger school districts said because its teachers were underpaid it would give raises as high as 7.4 percent in 2014-15.
But now Grand Rapids Public Schools faces a projected $8 million deficit for 2015-16.
Grand Rapids Superintendent Teresa Weatherall Neal points the finger at state government for not giving her district more money.
And that’s after the district received a $5.6 million increase in state dollars for the 2014-15 school year despite having 37 fewer students, according to numbers from the Michigan Department of Education.
...The average salary of Grand Rapids teachers was $51,899 in 2013-14, the most recent year for which data are available from the Michigan Department of Education.
...From 2009-13 the median household income in Grand Rapids was $39,227, and 26.8 percent of residents had incomes below the official federal poverty level.
...The Grand Rapids Public Schools said its teachers received the raises because the district didn’t have nearly as great a reduction in enrollment as anticipated..."

Obama Violates Judge's Order on Extortion 17 Probe! - Eagle Rising:

"August 6, 2011 will forever burn in the memory of the families who lost loved ones aboard Extortion 17. Extortion 17 was shot down with 30 American military personnel, including almost two dozen Navy SEALS, by Taliban jihadists in Afghanistan. However, it is all the evidence that points to a cover-up that continues to cause many of us to demand justice for those killed onboard. Now, the Obama administration is violating a judge's order concerning documents that pertain to the downing of Extortion 17."

"There are many, many jokes about President Obama, though you wouldn’t know it by the relative and admitted silence of several well-known comedians.  Though these folks lack the courage to include the president in their material, thankfully not everyone is afraid of their own shadow.

"5. Chart of the Day II (above).
Remember the “mancession,” the term that started being used back in 2008 to describe the disproportionately negative effects of the Great Recession on men compared to women?
Well, it hasn’t gotten much media attention lately, but the chart above shows that it’s still very much a reality.
mancessionCompared to November 2007, the month before the official start of the Great Recession, male employment is only 693,000 jobs (and less than 1%) above the pre-recession level while women have gained more than twice that number of jobs – there are 1,550,000 more women working today than in 2007.
The lingering effects of the “mancession” is also reflected in the fact that the unemployment rate for women has been below the rate for men in 103 out of the last 106 months.
Perhaps this phenomena explains one reason for the unadjusted gender wage gap — women earn lower wages on average compared to men, but tend to work in industries like education and health care where employment is more stable, especially during economic downturns.
In contrast, men gravitate towards industries like construction and manufacturing that pay higher wages, but are much more vulnerable to job losses during a recession and have a slower rebound during a recovery."

EPA crew accidentally turns Animas River orange - CNN.com
(CNN)A federal cleanup crew accidentally caused a big, and potentially hazardous, mess in Colorado, according to the Environmental Protection Agency.
An estimated 1 million gallons of wastewater spilled out of an abandoned mine area in the southern part of the state on Wednesday, turning the Animas River orange and prompting the EPA to tell locals to avoid it.
"When I first saw it, I was speechless, [the river] didn't look real," said Durango, Colorado, resident Ian Lucier. "But in person, it truly looks like the river was turned into carrot juice."
Accounts of the spill's striking appearance flooded social media as the waste pushed its way downriver. Lucier posted a clip he took of the river with his drone to Instagram.
According to the EPA, the spill occurred when one of its teams was using heavy equipment to enter the Gold King Mine, a suspended mine near Durango. Instead of entering the mine and beginning the process of pumping and treating the contaminated water inside as planned, the team accidentally caused it to flow into the nearby Animas River. Before the spill, water carrying "metals pollution" was flowing into a holding area outside the mine.
The EPA began testing the Animas River for hazardous materials on Thursday. EPA spokesperson Lisa McClain-Vanderpool said the agency hoped to have preliminary information available throughout Friday and Saturday. Until then, it is not known what the orange, acidic mess might mean for water users and the river's ecosystem.
Officials said they believe the spill carried heavy metals, mainly iron, zinc and copper, from the mine into a creek that feeds into the Animas River. From there, the orange water plugged steadily along through the small stretch of winding river in southern Colorado and across the state border to New Mexico where the Animas meets the San Juan River. The EPA said it will continue to sample water downstream from the mine until the contamination has passed and it determines there are "no additional concerns for aquatic life or water users." When asked if the spill could affect drinking water, the EPA spokesperson said she did not yet know.
The uncertainty surrounding the situation, along with the images of an orange plume flowing downriver, has left many concerned and frustrated.
"It's not good for the environment. I'm sure there's going to be dead fish and plants near the river," one New Mexico resident told CNN affiliate KOAT.
As the mine spill makes its way through the river, authorities have told people to avoid contact with the water. The EPA recommended recreational users stay out of the water, putting a halt to summer kayaking, swimming and fishing for the time being.
Sheriff Sean Smith of La Plata County, Colorado, used his authority to issue a restriction on recreation in the stretch of river within his jurisdiction.

"Somebody in a position of authority at Duke (and other schools) needs to step in here and put a stop to this racial division.
This is not 1965. It is 2015 and America has moved beyond what existed in those dark years of Jim Crow.
White students on campus are not the enemy, and they have nothing to apologize for. The idea that white students should be walking around in sackcloth and ashes and seeking forgiveness is absurd. Our country has changed greatly in the 50 years and fully acknowledged the past."
