Sweden: 'No Apartments, No Jobs, No Shopping Without a Gun'
Sweden: 'No Apartments, No Jobs, No Shopping Without a Gun':
- The Swedes see the welfare systems failing them. Swedes have had to get used to the government prioritizing refugees and migrants above native Swedes.
- "There are no apartments, no jobs, we don't dare go shopping anymore [without a gun], but we're supposed to think everything's great. ... Women and girls are raped by these non-European men, who come here claiming they are unaccompanied children, even though they are grown men. ... You Cabinet Ministers live in your fancy residential neighborhoods, with only Swedish neighbors. It should be obligatory for all politicians to live for at least three months in an area consisting mostly of immigrants... [and] have to use public transport." -- Laila, to the Prime Minister.
- "Instead of torchlight processions against racism, we need a Prime Minister who speaks out against the violence... Unite everyone. ... Do not make it a racism thing." -- Anders, to the Prime Minister.
- "In all honesty, I don't even feel they [government ministers] see the problems... There is no one in those meetings who can tell them what real life looks like." – Laila, on the response she received from the government

Hillary: Illegal Immigrants Could Elect Clinton
Hillary: Illegal Immigrants Could Elect Clinton - POLITICO Magazine:
"Illegal immigrants—along with other noncitizens without the right to vote—may pick the 2016 presidential winner.
Thanks to the unique math undergirding the Electoral College, the mere presence of 11-12 million illegal immigrants and other noncitizens here legally may enable them to swing the election from Republicans to Democrats.
The right to vote is intended to be a singular privilege of citizenship.
But the 1787 Constitutional Convention rejected allowing the people to directly elect their President.
The delegates chose instead our Electoral College system, under which 538 electoral votes distributed amongst the states determine the presidential victor.
The Electoral College awards one elector for each U.S. Senator, thus 100 of the total, and D.C. gets three electors pursuant to the 23rd Amendment.
Those electoral numbers are unaffected by the size of the noncitizen population.
The same cannot be said for the remaining 435, more than 80 percent of the total, which represent the members elected to the House..."

"Even more disturbing is that nearly every one of these tragic events seems to have one common factor that our politicians, pundits, and the corrupt media simply refuse to discuss.
That common factor is a particular category of drugs called Selective Serotonin Re-uptake inhibitors, SSRIs.
The first of these SSRIs to become part of the medical mainstream was Prozac, which entered the market place about 25 years ago.
It seems that these horrific events started to occur with increasing frequency also about 25 years ago. Coincidence?
It should come as no surprise that in nearly every mass shooting in the past 25 years, the shooter was under the age of 20, suffered from depression, and was proscribed an SSRI to treat the condition.
Other drugs in this class include Zoloft, Luvox, Ritalin, Xanax, Trazodone, and Ambien.
The pharmaceutical industry that created these drugs, the doctors who proscribe them like candy, and the parents who choose to medicate a child instead of raising them are equally at fault!!!"

Yes. It's ALL about the money!-----Climate Alarmist 'Largest Science Scandal in U.S. History'
Climate Alarmist 'Largest Science Scandal in U.S. History':
"The plan by climate alarmists to have other scientists imprisoned for their ‘global warming’ skepticism is backfiring horribly, and the chief alarmist is now facing a House investigation into what has been called “the largest science scandal in US history.”
Rep. Lamar Smith, Chairman of the House Committee on Space, Science and Technology, has written to Professor Jagadish Shukla of George Mason University, in Virginia, requesting that he release all relevant documents pertaining to his activities as head of a non-profit organization called the Institute of Global Environment And Society.
Smith has two main areas of concern.
First, the apparent engagement by the institute in “partisan political activity” – which, as a non-profit, it is forbidden by law from doing.
Second, what precisely has the IGES institute done with the $63 million in taxpayer grants which it has received since 2001 and which appears to have resulted in remarkably little published research?
For example, as Watts Up With That? notes, a $4.2 million grant from the National Science Foundation to one of the institute’s offshoots appears to have resulted in just one published paper.
...Steve McIntyre, the investigator who shattered Michael Mann’s global-warming ‘Hockey Stick’ claim, has done a detailed breakdown of the sums involved.
He calls it Shukla’s Gold.
...Combined with Shukla’s university salary, the total compensation of Shukla and his wife exceeded $800,000 in both 2013 and 2014.
In addition, as noted above, Shukla’s daughter continued to be employed by IGES in 2014; IGES also distributed $100,000 from its climate grant revenue to support an educational charity in India which Shukla had founded.
The story began last month when, as we reported at Breitbart, twenty alarmist scientists – led by Shukla – wrote a letter to President Obama urging him to use RICO laws to crush climate skeptics.
Shukla’s second big mistake was to send the letter not from his university address but from his non-profit, the IGES.
But his first, far bigger mistake, was his hubris in organizing the letter in the first place.
It drew the attention of Shukla’s critics to something which, presumably, he would have preferred to keep secret: that for nearly 14 years, he, his family and his friends have been gorging themselves on taxpayers’ money at IGES; and that this money comes on top of the very generous salary he receives for doing much the same work at George Mason University (GMU).
It’s the latter detail which has led former Virginia State Climatologist Pat Michaels – one of the skeptics who might have been affected by Shukla’s proposed RICO prosecutions – to describe this as “the largest science scandal in US history.”
Under federal law, state employees may not be remunerated for doing work which falls under their state employee remit.
As a Professor at GMU, Shukla is definitely an employee of the state.
And the work for which he has most lavishly been rewarding himself at IGES appears to be remarkably similar to the work he does at GMU as professor of climate dynamics.
If GMU was aware of these extra-curricular payments, then it was in breach of its own policy on “financial conflicts of interest in federally funded research.”
If it wasn’t aware of them, then, Shukla legally may be required to send half of that $63 million in federal grants to his employer, GMU.
For many readers, though, perhaps the biggest take-home message of this extraordinary story is: Who do these climate alarmists think they are?..."

After Oregon Shooting, White House Says Gun Control Is Still a Priority, but the Public Needs to Make Demands | TheBlaze.com:
"After a gunman opened fire at a community college in Oregon, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said that gun control is still a priority for President Barack Obama – but was less than enthusiastic about the ability to push legislation through Congress.
But, if legislation passes, he said, there must be a “fundamental change in the way American people communicate this priority to Congress.”

Liberal "tolerance".-----Campus speaker touting men’s rights has fire alarm pulled on her
Campus speaker touting men’s rights has fire alarm pulled on her - The College Fix:
"Cathy Young, a prominent writer critical of exaggerated campus rape statistics and radical feminism, elicited protests during a recent two-stop speaking tour at college campuses in Canada, which included having a fire alarm pulled during one of her speeches.
She and her hosts – the Canadian Association for Equality, or CAFE – were also called “rape apologist scum” by campus protesters and her speech at the University of Toronto on Sept. 24 was moved off campus after a comment urging violence against feminists was posted online.
“Amid an intense reaction to the threat, university administrators felt it was inadvisable to hold my event on campus; the venue was moved to a nearby hotel,” Young explained in Newsday.
“One student activist wrote on a Tumblr blog that ‘chasing these misogynists off campus is a victory.’”
However, the decision to relocate the event was amicable and mutual, agreed upon between CAFE and campus leaders to defuse the situation, the association told The College Fix.
As for Young’s talk at Saint Paul University in Ottawa on Sept. 25, a fire alarm blared throughout the auditorium as the speech was set to begin.
The room was evacuated for roughly 20 minutes, after which point attendees were then allowed back inside and the event proceeded as intended, Young said in an email to The College Fix.
...“But I think right now, there’s an especially dangerous anti-speech trend of equating ‘wrong’ speech with harm and trauma,” she added.
“In some people’s views, a speech like mine actually harms victims of rape.”
...She said in her experience the notion that a speech like hers actually harms victims of rape is dangerous for free speech and academic inquiry.
“This attitude effectively censors and suppresses challenges to the activists’ dogma on everything from the definition of rape and consent to the presumption of innocence and false allegations,” she told The College Fix.
“This will result not only in the stifling of intellectual discourse but in the adoption of repressive campus policies...”

In a note seeking to "explain" why the US labor participation rate just crashed to a nearly 40 year low earlier today as another half a million Americans decided to exit the labor force bringing the total to 94.6 million people...
... this is what the Atlanta Fed has to say about the most dramatic aberration to the US labor force in history:
"Generally speaking, people in the 25–54 age group are the most likely to participate in the labor market.
These so-called prime-age individuals are less likely to be making retirement decisions than older individuals and less likely to be enrolled in schooling or training than younger individuals."

These so-called prime-age individuals are less likely to be making retirement decisions than older individuals and less likely to be enrolled in schooling or training than younger individuals."
This is actually spot on; it is also the only thing the Atlanta Fed does get right in its entire taxpayer-funded "analysis."
However, as the chart below shows, when it comes to participation rates within the age cohort, while the 25-54 group should be stable and/or rising to indicate economic strength while the 55-69 participation rate dropping due to so-called accelerated retirement of baby booners, we see precisely the opposite.
The Fed, to its credit, admits this: "participation among the prime-age group declined considerably between 2008 and 2013..."

Major IBM Breakthrough Scales Carbon Nanotube Transistors Below 10nm
Major IBM Breakthrough Scales Carbon Nanotube Transistors Below 10nm | HotHardware
On the consumer side, we're accustomed to chip makers introducing increasingly smaller and faster processors, as has been the case over the past several decades.
But like trying to fold a piece of paper in half over and over again, there comes a point where going smaller may require new methods.
The semiconductor industry is nearly at that point, so what's the solution?
It could be carbon nanotubes. IBM today announced an engineering breakthrough that could fast track the replacement of silicon transistors with carbon nanotubes.
That breakthrough is a new way of shrinking transistor contacts without hampering performance of carbon nanotube devices, which in turn could lead to "dramatically faster, smaller, and more powerful computer chips" that extend capabilities beyond that of traditional semiconductors.
Silicon transistors are tiny switches that carry information on a chip. They've been made smaller year after year, but with Intel and others looking to go below 10nm on a mass scale, chip makers are quickly reaching the point of physical limitation
"IBM has previously shown that carbon nanotube transistors can operate as excellent switches at channel dimensions of less than ten nanometers – the equivalent to 10,000 times thinner than a strand of human hair and less than half the size of today’s leading silicon technology," IBM explains.
"IBM's new contact approach overcomes the other major hurdle in incorporating carbon nanotubes into semiconductor devices, which could result in smaller chips with greater performance and lower power consumption."
What IBM did is forego traditional contact schemes in use today and invented a metallurgical process similar to microscopic welding that chemically binds the metal atoms to the carbon atoms at the end of nanotubes.
IBM refers to its as an "end-bonded contact scheme," which allows the contacts to be shrunken below 10nm without sacrificing performance.
Looking ahead, IBM says its method could overcome challenges related to contact resistance all the way down to 1.8nm.

It's Way Past Time to Have a Talk About Islam:
"Here’s what passes for respectable behavior in the Muslim world. It’s called pedophilia and child rape, and any condemnation of it will likely get your name put on a list for beheading.
If you think that is an over-the-top statement, please consider that the founder of Islam, Mohammed, was a pedophile. It’s a historical fact that he “married ” a nine year-old girl and that practice is widespread to this day in the “Muslim world.” In fact, one of the reasons Muslims want Sharia Law in the countries they are immigrating to is that Sharia Law makes this pedophilia perfectly legal.
This is one of the prime reasons civilized people hold the opinion that Muslims are animals. And that subject was broached by CNN’s Chris Cuomo when he asked a guest about it ."

According to the montly Bureau of Labor Statistics numbers just released, "foreign-born" jobs numbers increased by 14,000, while those for "native-born" Americans fell off a cliff, by 262,000.
Over the past three months, the job numbers for native-born have dropped by nearly 1 million, exactly the number of jobs President Obama promised to add when he ran for re-election in 2012.
During that period, jobs for immigrants grew 218,000."

Secret Service Broke The Law To 'Embarrass' Chaffetz
Secret Service Broke The Law To 'Embarrass' Chaffetz | The Daily Caller:
"The Secret Service violated federal privacy laws by improperly accessing Rep. Jason Chaffetz’s 2003 job application to the Secret Service, the Department of Homeland Security inspector general found.
According to the investigation, more than 40 Secret Service employees accessed the file more than 60 times, even though they had “no official need to query” Chaffetz.
Wednesday, the Secret Service apologized publicly to Chaffetz, a Republican from Utah who also happens to be a critic of the agency, for “this wholly avoidable and embarrassing misconduct” and promised that those responsible would be held accountable.
Chaffetz called the violation, “a tactic designed to intimidate and embarrass me.”
“It’s scary to think about all the possible dangers in having your personal information exposed,” Chaffetz explained.
“The work of the committee, however, will continue. I remain undeterred in conducting proper and rigorous oversight.”
Chaffetz has previously investigated allegations of Secret Service misconduct as chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.
In an interview with NBC News, the Chaffetz said, “It’s a bit scary.
If they would do this to me, I just, I shuddered to think what they might be doing to other people.
I’d like to tell you how tough I am, but it’s scary, and it’s intimidating, and I will continue to investigate the Secret Service and others, but this should have never ever happened...”

The Most Bizarre ICD-10 Code Awards - | Power Your Practice:
Remember the time a patient walked in with that gruesome killer whale bite on his leg?
Even worse, do you recall what a pain it was to bill their insurance?
Well, probably not, but just in case this ever does happen to you, CMS has created an ICD-10 code for it: W5621XA – Bitten by orca, initial encounter.
While the ICD-10 transition is no laughing matter, the federal government, with their exceptional ability to over-document everything, has created a series of diagnosis codes that had us cracking up here at PYP.
So, we’re going to take advantage of the fact that it’s the end of the workweek and have a little fun with CMS. Without further adieu, we present you with the Awards for the Most Bizarre ICD-10 codes.

Every Mass Shooting in the US Since the 1950s Except Two Occurred in Gun Free Zones
Every Mass Shooting in the US Since the 1950s Except Two Occurred in Gun Free Zones ⋆ Conservative Firing Line
A professor from Purdue researched mass shootings from the 1950s on and discovered that only two of them occurred where guns are legal to be carried.
This really blows apart liberal arguments that more guns means more mass shootings. Between 2004 and 2012, gun ownership increased by 61%.
But since 2008, violent crimes decreased by 12.9%. Eric Dietz, Ph.D., the former director of Homeland Security for the state of Indiana and a 22-year Army veteran, and now a professor at Purdue University, set out to find out how armed citizens could prevent deaths.

In order to examine the results, he chose to study the most common gun free zone in America, and also the place most mass shootings take place, (Outside of Chicago) public schools.
Dietz outlined 4 scenarios and using statistical math, developed a model whereby he could estimate the results.
He noted that since schools are gun free, they have to rely on the police, who on average take 10 – 12 minutes to respond to a live shooting.
Given the fact that a mass shooter can kill a person every twenty seconds, the delay can costs a lot of lives.

Given the fact that a mass shooter can kill a person every twenty seconds, the delay can costs a lot of lives.
Here are the four scenarios Dietz used in his study:
• Scenario 1: No access to control or security.
• Scenario 2: Resource officer
• Scenario 3: 5-10 percent of work force has concealed carry
• Scenario 4: 5-10 percent of work force has concealed carry and a resource officer
• Scenario 2: Resource officer
• Scenario 3: 5-10 percent of work force has concealed carry
• Scenario 4: 5-10 percent of work force has concealed carry and a resource officer
In study number one, it was determined that the most crucial aspect is time. The more time a shooter has, the more people he can kill.
Moving on to the second scenario, that includes an armed resource officer, casualties dropped by a whopping 66.5% and response time was cut by 59.5%.
In the third scenario, with 5%-10% of the workforce armed, there is a decrease in fatalities of when 5% of the workforce is carrying concealed weapons of 6.8% and response time is reduced by 5.4%. When 10% of the workforce is armed causalities dropped by 23.2% and response time was slashed by 16.8%.
But the most amazing statistic is that when 5% of the workforce is armed AND they have a resource officer present, the fatality rate drops 69.2% and response time improved by 57.9%.
With 10% armed and a resource officer, the fatality rate drops by 70.2% and response time by 62.7%.
Dietz says he still has some work to do.
He wants to see if in cases where there is no active shooter present, would the guns being carried by school personnel lead to violence in the schools.
Since many schools have armed guards already, with no incidences of violence, his report will not aid the gun grabbing liberals.

Remember, this is STATE funding only. Federal and local funding also increased.-----Why Won't It Die? Media Keeps Pushing School Funding Cuts Myth
Why Won't It Die? Media Keeps Pushing School Funding Cuts Myth [Michigan Capitol Confidential]: "The Dearborn Press and Guide has repeated a myth still perpetuated by many in the media when it wrote that state funding has been cut to public schools.
A story about Glenn Maleyko, the new superintendent of Dearborn Public Schools, stated: Fewer people are going into teaching, which is understandable, he said.
The pay scale is lower than what many professionals earn with a bachelor’s degree, and it takes longer these days for teachers to climb to the top of the pay scale, a change forced on districts by stagnant or reduced state funding.
ForTheRecord says:
Despite numerous erroneous media reports over the past few years, state funding has not gone down in Michigan.
It has increased in each of Gov. Rick Snyder’s five K-12 budgets.
In the case of Dearborn, total state funding has increased from $7,012 per pupil in 2010-11 (former Gov. Jennifer Granholm’s last budget) to $7,497 per pupil in 2014-15."

"Lessons in Ruthlessness
Eastern Europeans learned from the Hungarian experience that the only way to succeed against Islamic Jihad was to be as ruthless as the Muslims were—both during and after the battle. Muslim warriors fight fiercely, since they embrace death, valuing the afterlife more than this one, as a rule. And, in the aftermath of battle, Muslims usually behead the men who refuse to convert or to accept Islam as a Dhimmi (a semi-slave without even the right to defend one’s life). It is also normal for Muslims to take the adult women and the female children above the age of eight as sex slaves and to castrate the pre-pubescent boys for use as eunuchs. Females under eight are generally cared for, until they can be married off by the age of eight or nine."

First of all, they’re not Minnesotans.
But they are working for the enemy:
Minnesota leads the nation in the number of people who have left or sought to leave the country to fight with terrorists aligned with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in Syria, according to a scathing congressional report that says the U.S. and western countries have failed to disrupt the flow of combatants to the Middle East.
...Minnesota recruits made up 26 percent of the sample of 58 cases reviewed by the committee’s bipartisan task force. California and New York had the second most recruits, with each state making up 12 percent, according to findings.
Luckily, responsible Somali-Americans are appalled by this, right? Right?
“This report is alarming and it’s really very worrisome,” said Sadik Warfa, deputy director of the Global Somali Diaspora based in Minneapolis. “I worry about the stigma and the prospect of our community being marginalized.”
Right…
“But in the end, it’s up to us as Somali-Americans to really change our image.
And as Minnesotans, we need to be asking what can we do to put these kinds of people into our mainstream here instead of over there.”
Okay, then.
Meanwhile:
More than 250 Americans have attempted or succeeded in reaching Syria and Iraq to fight with terrorist groups, intelligence officials estimate.
“We have largely failed to stop Americans from traveling overseas to join jihadists,” the task force declared.
“A handful of suspects were stopped in other countries, but it appears the majority — 85 percent — still managed to evade American law enforcement on its way to the conflict zone.”
The task force said it could identify only 28 cases in which federal authorities stopped suspects before they left for the Middle East.
Eight of those involved Minnesotans who conspired since March 2014 to leave the U.S. for Syria but who were stopped by FBI agents.
Those men, all Somali-Americans, are in custody.
Three have pleaded guilty in recent weeks to conspiring to join ISIL
So what could possibly go wrong with Obama’s plans to import 10,000 or more Syrian “refugees” next year?

The unilateral war on college men
Glenn Reynolds: The unilateral war on college men:
"It appears to many — including me — as if the Obama administration is engaged in a war on college men.
Using debunked statistics, the president, the vice president and various other political officials have falsely claimed that there’s an epidemic of rape on college campuses, even though campus rape is, in fact, falling, just as off-campus rape is.
(And, in fact, rape is less common on campus than off).
And, ever since the Department of Education issued a ”Dear Colleague" letter to universities in 2011, in essence ordering them to adopt new and draconian campus “sexual assault” rules that treat accusations as presumptively true and force the accused — almost always men — to prove their innocence, sometimes even very strong evidence of innocence is ignored.
Spearheading this effort has been Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights Catherine Lhamon, who has characterized the letter as binding on colleges and universities even though it is not a law...
But through a period of interpretation and reinterpretation, that simple statutory language has produced reams of federal paperwork that, in effect, turn a simple academic non-discrimination rule into a rape law that lacks the due process protections and evidentiary standards of actual rape law.
...So why did colleges roll over?
Law blogger Scott Greenfield suggests that it’s because the colleges are also warring against college men:
“After all, why should a college risk the loss of its lifeblood (federal money) for the sake of protecting a few guys, particularly when the colleges pretty much agree with Lhamon’s progressive ideals?”
...But male college students and their parents, as well as alumni and trustees — and those women noticing that there’s a shortage of college-educated men all of a sudden — need to ask why there’s a war on college men, and why colleges, seemingly, are on the other side."

The Looming Medicaid Time-Bomb
The Looming Medicaid Time-Bomb | Zero Hedge
From 1985 through 2011, an average 11.7 percent of seniors were enrolled in Medicaid, primarily for long-term nursing home or home and community care, according to data compiled by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
From 1985 through 2011, an average 11.7 percent of seniors were enrolled in Medicaid, primarily for long-term nursing home or home and community care, according to data compiled by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Keep that stat in mind, because if it remains true, as the Baby Boomers progress through old age, by 2030, as many as 8.7 million seniors could be enrolled in the program, up from 4.6 million today, an Americans for Limited Government analysis of the data reveals.
By 2035, that figure could rise to about 9.3 million.
By 2035, that figure could rise to about 9.3 million.
And it will drive the costs of the program to the moon, particularly the costs for long-term nursing home and home care targeted at elderly and the physically disabled, which stood at $88.85 billion in 2013. Why?
As the Urban Institute’s Melissa Favreault noted at the Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation Long-Term Care Financing Colloquium on July 30, “We project that formal long-term services and supports use and costs will roughly track the growth in the aged population.”
That is not good news, particularly considering the older age population wave now underway.
By 2035, the number of seniors will have increased 66 percent to 79.2 million, the U.S. Census Bureau projects. 66 percent.
As jaw-dropping as that is, in the meantime the population of those aged 15-64 will have barely increased 6.65 percent to 232.9 million.
So, how will revenues ever keep up with costs if comparatively fewer Americans will be of working age as a percent of the overall population — for the rest of the century? We’re already running deficits and the answer is, they won’t.
UNREAL: Obama's "Clock" Kid Just Went to the UN to Do Something Despicable to America
UNREAL: Obama's "Clock" Kid Just Went to the UN to Do Something Despicable to America:
"So to recap, the punk kid rightfully got in trouble for bringing a device that looked like a bomb to school, and now he wants to lecture America about racism and discrimination. Given the age we live in, as well as the fact that a terrorist attack recently occurred in the nearby town of Garland, it seems obvious that his detainment had nothing to do with racism or discrimination, but everything to do with common-sense.
Yet this did not stop him from not only meeting up with the U.N., but also befriending DavutoÄŸlu, a rabid Islamist hellbent on turning Turkey into an Islamic theocracy where real racism and discrimination runs rampant.
Nor did it stop the liberal mainstream media and President Obama from propping this kid up as some sort of victim, which in today’s culture translates to “hero.”
Sorry, liberals, but Ahmed Mohamed is not a victim of racism or discrimination, let alone a hero. He is a liar, con artist and punk, and he might also be an Islamist as well."

There Are Now Officially 70,000 Ways to Get Sick or Die
There Are Now Officially 70,000 Ways to Get Sick or Die - Bloomberg Business
There are 70,000 ways to get sick, hurt or mortally injured, and the U.S. is making them official.
On Thursday, U.S. hospitals, doctors and other care providers have to start using internationally developed standards called ICD-10 codes to bill government programs and private insurers in the nation’s $2.9 trillion-a-year health-care system.
The codes cover everything from parrot bites to getting sucked into a jet engine.
Doctors have already begun mocking the diagnostic list, picking out the most absurd and arcane, such as Z63.1, “Problems in relationship with in-laws,” or V91.07XA, “Burn due to water skis on fire.”
Yet for health-care providers who have payments at stake, the complex change is no joke.
Health insurers and government programs stopped accepting the old set of codes, called ICD-9, in the early morning hours Thursday, completing the switch.
In a study released last month, the Government Accountability Office, the investigative arm of Congress, said “little is known” about how much it will cost the health-care system to make the transition.
...Rothenhaus said that the biggest concern for his clients is local insurers, such as state Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans that make up a large proportion of some providers’ bills.
If these plans fail to implement the new codes properly, it could hurt individual doctors, he said.
...And if, even after all the efforts to get the transition right, doctors and hospitals are still dealing with problems, there’s an ICD-10 code for that -- F43.22: “Adjustment disorder with anxiety.”
