Michigan's Two Teachers Unions Down Tens of Thousands of Members [Michigan Capitol Confidential]:
"Michigan’s two largest public school unions have seen their numbers of dues-paying members decline sharply since 2012, according to documents filed with the U.S. Department of Labor.
The Michigan Education Association lost 20 percent of its active members, going from 117,626 members in 2012 to 94,559 in 2015.
The American Federation of Teachers-Michigan lost 21 percent, dropping from 23,388 members in 2012 to 18,585 in 2015.
...So not all Michigan teachers can stop paying dues if they want.
In many cases, this is because their unions signed so-called union security agreement agreements with local school boards.
Right-to-work does not apply in those districts until those deals expire.
For example, Dearborn Schools and its union signed a 5-year union security agreement that runs from 2013 to 2018.
Contracts such as the one in Dearborn require teachers to pay dues to the union as a condition of employment..."

U.S. Marine Humiliates Michelle Obama In Epic Fashion - She's Livid! ⋆ US Herald:
"One can only imagine how this young Marine must feel seeing the nation that he has sworn to protect with his life, unraveling before his eyes, witnessing deserters hailed as hero’s, while true hero’s lie broken and ignored, by a system that no longer values their service, and a Commander-in-Chief ambivalent towards America.
Here in its entirety is this powerful yet heartfelt letter to the First Lady;

College suspends student for six months for saying black women are 'not hot' - The College Fix
Student says he was assumed guilty for writing much worse comments on Yik Yak.
Saying that black women are “not hot” got a Colorado College student suspended for six months – appealed down from 21.
The sanction against Thaddeus Pryor was not the only action the school took against offensive comments posted Nov. 9 on the anonymous social-media app Yik Yak: His friend Lou Henriques was expelled.
Their jokes took place on a night where the Yik Yak conversation on campus was centered around the theme #BlackLivesMatter.
What started off as raising awareness quickly became “mud slinging,” Pryor told The College Fix in a phone interview.
When someone wrote “#blackwomenmatter,” Pryor said he joined in, anonymously replying, “They matter, they’re just not hot.”
Senior Associate Dean of Students Rochelle Mason, Dean of Students Mike Edmonds and Assistant Dean of Students Cesar Cervantes decided in less than 24 hours that Pryor should be suspended for 21 months – the exact time it would take him to finish his degree – and prohibited from being on campus.

"A September report said that 50 intelligence officials at CENTCOM had signed a letter claiming intelligence on the Islamic State group had been doctored.
The report claimed that the Obama administration would deliberately punish any intelligence official who gave accurate assessments of terror group strength and didn’t doctor the information to make it look like the United States was winning the battle against them."

Donald Trump to be punished by immigrant campaign at election polls | Daily Mail Online:
"Activists vow to flood electoral rolls with ONE MILLION Hispanic immigrants to punish Trump at the polls
Immigrant campaign groups are mobilizing to punish Trump at the polls
They state it is revenge for his attacks on Latino and Muslim communities
It is believed they will be able to mobilize one million new young voters
They say it will destroy Republicans' chances of reaching the White House
Campaigners have vowed to mobilize an army of immigrant voters in time for the November presidential elections in a bid to ruin Donald Trump's chances of reaching the White House.
Claiming they are able to register one million new voters from the U.S.'s huge legal immigrant communities, they say it could completely destroy the Republican Party's chances of tasting victory.
Their main target is Trump - whose inflammatory comments so far include deporting all illegal immigrants and blocking any Muslims from entering the U.S.

Frightening. Worth a full read-----The Obama Revolution Enters its Radical Phase
Articles: The Obama Revolution Enters its Radical Phase:
Political scientists long ago developed a template for analyzing the course of classic revolutions, which still works pretty well, as for example, recent events in Egypt demonstrate.
While the Obama presidency has not been a real revolution, Obama took office with the deliberate intention of “transforming” United States, a process that has been in many ways almost as painful and destructive as a revolution.
That process, like classic revolutions of the past, now appears to be entering its most dangerous and radical phase.
The radical phase of the classic revolutionary cycle comes after a more moderate period, and tends to provoke a strong conservative counter-reaction.
It is driven both by the excesses of leaders who see their power and opportunity waning, and the demands of an agitated constituency that feels let down by the pace of change and wants to push the radical agenda to the breaking point.
We can see this happening in the country today.
It is evident in Obama’s increasingly desperate attempts to remain relevant and press his agendas through any means possible, for example through unconstitutional executive actions.
Throughout, the radical revolutionary leader always pretends to be above it all, smarter than the mob, confident of riding the tiger to the end.
The incorruptible Robespierre, the analytical Trotsky, all came a cropper in the end though, not as tough, honest, or smart as their apologists pretended.
Obama too takes this tone of superior detachment as the West is under attack, unwilling to admit mistakes and so unable to learn from them.
In the end the radical phases of revolutions collapse under the weight of their own chaos and confusion.
But the worse the situation becomes, the more it motivates and radicalizes opposition.
The English Revolution ended with the last failed Stuarts, the French Napoleon, and the Russian Stalin.
Obama’s radical reign is doing just that, in the person of Donald Trump, a demagogic reality television star, who is skillfully channeling the fear and rage of a significant part of the populace.
It’s not even hard to believe that Obama is flat-out encouraging the phenomenon, in the expectation that it will upend what might otherwise be a relatively easy Republican victory, given the sorry state of his governance.
America is a stable republic, populated by history’s most reasonable and moderate people. Nevertheless, this descent into radicalism is dangerous.
It is highly unlikely to end in the disasters that marked similar stages in other countries through history, but a lot more damage might be done before it ends, and before we get a good idea of what a new beginning might be like.

It is evident in Obama’s increasingly desperate attempts to remain relevant and press his agendas through any means possible, for example through unconstitutional executive actions.
- It is evident as well in the rise of extremist movements like Black Lives Matter.
- Finally, these developments have already provoked a drastic conservative reaction in the person of Donald Trump and his partisans.
- More specifically, we can see the artifacts of this radical phase in many developments that mirror violent and disruptive revolutions of the past.
- Radical revolutionaries almost always attempt to remake the military, as in the final analysis, it is the locus of the state’s coercive power...
- The radical phases of revolutions are also marked by violent disturbances and expansive civil unrest, something that we see increasingly in America today, from riots in Missouri and Baltimore, to campus “protests” over largely invented slights.
- Weakness and unrest get the attention of enemies, and historically the radical phase of revolutions attracts foreign attack.
- Also inevitable are the false crises, the blaming of inexplicable forces, the hatred of the domestic opposition more than any true enemy of the state.

"The most brazen of all laws passed, however, was the the law that officially declared Oklahoma as a sovereign state — one not beholden to the directives of President Barack Obama’s lawless and corrupt federal government (H/T Constitution Party of Ohio).
This law placed Oklahoma among the likes of Texas, Montana and Utah, though a number of other states are likely to follow suit.
It’s terrific to see a state fight back so hard against Obama, and we certainly hope other states follow Oklahoma’s shining example."

Being Emotional Isn't a Form of Debate | Intellectual Takeout:
"Discourse, especially in schools, is miserable these days.
As Randall Smith, the Scanlan Professor of Theology at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, argues, there are only three options when it comes to uncomfortable topics, “Non-judgmentalism, furious indignation, or ironic detachment.”
...“My experience with students is that as much as they say that no position is any more true than any other, they are no more willing to tolerate things they consider ‘unfair’ or ‘unjust’ than those who profess a belief in objective moral truth.
Their insistence that things be done ‘right,’ absent any defensible account of ‘rightness,’ merely confirms in them the conviction that all such demands are merely expressions of a person’s will or desire.
Having systematically insulated themselves from every kind of rational argument, the result is that not only can they never lose an argument, they also can never win.
College students often have only two gears when it comes to public discourse: ‘non-judgmentalism’ and ‘furious indignation.’
In one gear, they proclaim endlessly that ‘this is just what I think,’ that they ‘don’t want to judge anyone else’ and that they ‘don’t want to tell anyone else what to do.’
And yet when they come upon some activity or expression they find unacceptable—usually something they have been taught to view as a sign of an unacceptable prejudice or bias—their response is loud and furious: a shrill protest of indignation.
Allowing an ideological simulacrum of rational argument to continue to dominate public discourse—with its shrill assertion of self-righteous indignation, the ‘unmasking’ of one’s ideological opponents, and the ironic detachment of those who have ‘seen through’ the whole illusion—will only destroy the possibility of a discussion that, with patience and good will, could be mutually illuminating.”"

- The more students dismiss the resources of critical reason, the less faith they have in reasoned judgments.
- The less faith they have in reasoned judgments, the more likely they are to assume every decision they find offensive is based on ill will or gross stupidity, and the more indignant they are likely to be in their condemnations.
- The louder and more intractable the disputes between parties, the more those with less stomach for the fight will withdraw into postmodernism’s ‘ironic detachment’: the shrug of the shoulders and the ubiquitous ‘whatever.’

VIDEO: Reporters burst into cheers after Paris climate change deal | The American Mirror
Think the media in Paris covering the world “climate change” conference will give Americans an unbiased report about the impact of the global agreement?
Judging by video published by Miranda Johnson, environment correspondent for The Economist, the answer might be no.
As the deal was announced, reporters alongside Johnson in the press room can be seen jumping to their feet, cheering and hugging each other. Several women can be seen repeatedly jumping off the ground in excitment.
“Watching #ParisAgreement close w journos. Feels like watching @themichaelowen score in EnglandVBrazil 2002 again,” Johnson observed in a tweet that was later deleted.
It’s understandable for a politician to celebrate, but the so-called “unbiased” media?

Obama's "war"-----Putin’s Great Crime: He Defends His Allies and Attacks His Enemies
Edward Luttwak on Putin’s Great Crime: He Defends His Allies and Attacks His Enemies – Tablet Magazine:
"...In reality Putin’s young bombing campaign has hit very few Islamic State targets.
Yes, aircraft have flown and bombs have been dropped, but the Russians have no ground intelligence in place to identify targets any more than the United States has, except in those rare occasions when black-flagged vehicles are actually seen driving around in broad daylight—which is why the Islamic State has expanded ever since the U.S. bombing started.
But Putin must certainly be innocent of the accusation that his air force has bombed the U.S.-trained “pro-democracy” freedom fighters, because the trainers themselves have admitted that the first lot on which one-tenth of the budget has been spent, i.e., $50 million, are exactly five in number, the rest having deserted after receiving their big family-support signing bonus and first paycheck, or after they were first issued with weapons (which they sold), or after first entering Syria in groups, when they promptly joined the anti-American Jabhat an-Nuá¹£rah, whose Sunni Islam they understand, unlike talk of democracy.
That guarantees Putin’s innocence: All five extant U.S.-made freedom fighters are reportedly alive and well, though one may have defected since the last count.
(It would really be much cheaper to hire Salvadoran contract gunmen and fit them out in Arab head-dresses.)...
...So, yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, the aforementioned accused, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is guilty of a very great crime:
He defends his allies and attacks his enemies—conduct particularly reprehensible in the eyes of the Obama Administration, which does the exact opposite.
Obama’s America dislikes Japan’s staunchly pro-American Prime Minister Abe (deemed “insufficiently apologetic”),..."

School District Tried to ‘Censor’ Christmas — and Here’s How This Law Firm Is Responding | TheBlaze.com:
"A conservative legal firm fired off a letter to a New Hampshire public school district after the superintendent decided that the term “Christmas tree” needed to be changed to “holiday tree” on fliers advertising a local tree lighting ceremony.
The Alliance Defending Freedom’s letter to New Hampshire School Administrative Unit 29 in Keene, New Hampshire, explained that the use of “Christmas” — from the firm’s perspective — is not illegal and that a ban on it is patently unconstitutional."

Must Read of the day!! Islam and the Cultural Jihad in America
Islam and the Cultural Jihad in America | Politically Short:
"The belief that Islam is a peaceful religion and that Islamic terrorists have twisted that faith to unrecognizable extremes is a false interpretation that surrounds today’s narrative regarding Islam”, writes Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch.
The greater overall threat this misconception poses is neglected because of fear and outright denial to acknowledge what or who our enemy truly is.
The more we lie to ourselves and allow our politicians, media and government officials to lie to us, the more we enable terrorists to become embolden.
Spencer further notes, “we cannot possibly defeat an enemy whom we refuse to understand, refuse to study, refuse to listen to because he explains why he is our enemy in terms that we can’t bear to hear”.
The public discourse in our country that regards Islam as no different from Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism and others is a lie perpetrated against an American public whom is unaware of who their enemy is and what their goals truly are.
The enemy is a terrorist organization that goes by the name of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Their goal is to eliminate and destroy Western civilization from within.
The document that reveals how to achieve this goal is labeled An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America.
...The 18-page document was entered into evidence in the 2008 Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial. Federal investigators found the document in the home of Ismael Elbarasse, a founder of the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, Virginia, during a 2004 search.
The document was written in 1991 by Muslim Brotherhood operative Mohamed Akram.
The document lays out the plans by the Brotherhood in America as a “civilizational alternative” for infiltrating non-Islamic forms of society and governance for the “global Islamic state”. (The memorandum can be viewed in full at link)."
....If we are to learn from the recent terrorist attacks that took place in France this week and cost the lives of 20 people, we must first look at how the government in France has surrendered authority to Muslim communities in the form of no-go zones.
There are an estimated 750 no-go zones across France that are compromised of up to 40 percent of France’s five million Muslims in which insular neighborhoods have become off-limits to non-Muslims.
These areas function as micro-states that are governed by Islamic Shariah law.
The no-go zones have become so dangerous that authorities no longer provide basic public aid such as police, fire and ambulances services.
...What is happening in France is also happening in other European countries such as Germany and Britain that have effectively relinquished legal control in portions of its territory.
In Britain, where Islamic law has been enforceable nationwide since 2008, there are dozens of no-go zones, including all-Muslim enclaves in the London boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest and Bradford where “Shariah Zone” stickers went up on utility poles and lamp posts in July 2011.
...In Germany, Chief Police Commissioner Bernhard Witthaut, in an August interview with the newspaper Der Westen, revealed that Muslim immigrants are imposing no-go zones in cities across Germany at an alarming rate..."

It’s a liberal’s wet dream…
Global elites released details of their global warming junk science pact Saturday. The international agreement calls for developed nations to transfer hundreds of billions of aid to third world hell holes.
The money will then be quickly deposited into Swiss bank accounts under an anonymous name until the dictator is thrown from office and replaced by the next tinpot dictator.
The draft of the international agreement to deal with climate change, which is being considered today in Paris by representatives from 195 countries, calls for the developed nations of the world (which include the United States) to transfer wealth to developing nations, including through “public funds.”“Developed country Parties shall provide financial resources to assist developing country Parties with respect to both mitigation and adaptation in continuation of their existing obligations under the Convention,” says Article 9 of the draft agreement.“As part of a global effort, developed country Parties should continue to take the lead in mobilizing climate finance from a wide variety of sources, instruments and channels, noting the significant role of public funds,” says the draft. The draft agreement sets a goal for developed countries to dole out at least $100 billion per year by 2020.The agreement at one point says: “Resolves to enhance the provision of urgent and adequate finance, technology and capacity-building support by developed country Parties in order to enhance the level of ambition of pre-2020 action by Parties, and in this regard strongly urges developed country Parties to scale up their level of financial support, with a concrete roadmap to achieve the goal of jointly providing USD 100 billion annually by 2020 for mitigation and adaptation while significantly increasing adaptation finance from current levels and to further provide appropriate technology and capacity-building support.”

Unbelievable!!!-----Disgraceful White House Hanukkah celebration
Blog: Disgraceful White House Hanukkah celebration
Leave to Barack Obama to turn what should be a celebration of the Jewish people’s survival in the face of adversity into a politicized rant celebrating the cause of the Palestinians, who want to “drive them into the sea,” as has been promised since the birth of the modern State of Israel.
Daniel Greenfield reports on what should have been the highlight of this year’s White House ceremony at Front Page Magazine:
… the White House chose Susan Talve to light the Menorah. Talve is a member of the anti-Israel group T'ruah which is currently promoting assorted "soft BDS" programs. She's also a Ferguson activist. Her behavior was deeply insulting to the religious Jewish community and made it clear that the White House was determined to hijack even a Chanukah party to promote an anti-Jewish agenda.
So the general conviviality of the Chanukah party was disrupted by a crazed rant from Susan Talve in which she seemed determined to jam as many leftist talking points as possible in her limited time. Instead of talking about Chanukah, Talve blathered on about getting, "guns off our streets" and to "clean up the fires of toxic nuclear waste".
Talve screeched, "I stand here with my fierce family of clergy and black lives matter activists who took to the streets of Ferguson".
Having celebrated the race riots which destroyed a community, she pivoted to Syrian Muslim migrants. Chanukah is a celebration of the Maccabees defeating a Syrian occupation, but Talve may not even know that. Radical clergy tend to be light on the religion and heavy on the social justice.
Instead she rambled on about how the "gates of this nation would stay open for all immigrants and all refugees".
Then, not satisfied with having made a disgrace of the Chanukah ceremony, Susan Talve declared, "I stand here to light these lights to say no the darkness of Islamophobia and Homophobia and Transphobia."
Talve babbled about insuring "justice for Palestinians" and began gleefully chanting, "Ins'Allah, Ins'Allah". Or "Allah Willing".
I don't recall Susan Talve mentioning G-d or a word of Jewish scripture. Indeed she spent more time talking about Muslims than about anything in Judaism. And yet that's typical for Social justice clergy who have no organic ties to Judaism.
