Counting Down Trump’s Litany of Lies | Glenn Beck

Counting Down Trump’s Litany of Lies | Glenn Beck:

"Donald Trump gave quite the press conference following election results Tuesday night.

Instead of focusing on the election, Trump spent an exorbitant amount of time and energy defending a bunch of past business ventures and products with his name on them. The problem? They don’t exist. You won’t find any Trump Steaks, Trump Water, Trump Magazine or Trump Vodka — they’re all failed products, no longer available for purchase.

“It’s really crazy,” Glenn said on radio Wednesday. “You’re going to be president of the United States and you’re lying about your fake meat products?”

Infuriated Benghazi Mom Responds to Clinton: ‘There’s a Special Place in Hell for People Like Her’ | Video | TheBlaze.com:

"The mother of a Benghazi victim lashed out at Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton Thursday, saying Thursday on the Fox Business Network that “there’s a special place in hell” for her.

The blistering comments came one day after Clinton said at a Democratic debate that Patricia Smith was “absolutely wrong” about the accusation she lied to her face."

The Republican Establishment is Worse Than Trump

The Republican Establishment is Worse Than Trump - John Hawkins - Page full:
..."The GOP is nakedly now a 'clientist' party the same as the Democrat Party. They just have different clients.
And those clients aren't us." -- Ace of Spades HQ
There are a lot of things I could say about Donald J. Trump, but he isn’t responsible for 95% of the problems the Republican Party has today.
Do you want to know who is responsible for most of the problems in the Republican Party?
It’s the Republican Establishment.
“But John, there is no Republican Establishment!
In fact, I’d like to see somebody actually name some names.
Why don’t you name the Republican Establishment!
Dare you…”
Okay, just to name a few: Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, John Boehner, Eric Cantor, Bob Dole, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Karl Rove, Jennifer Rubin, David Brooks, George Will, Jon Kyl, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Jeb Bush, Peter King and the whole damn NRSC.
Being part of “the establishment” is more than just having power in the Republican Party or alternately being obsequious to the people in power; it’s a contemptuous attitude toward the concerns of grassroots conservatives and Americans in flyover country.
It’s an attitude that says…
* We don’t need to get the most votes to choose the nominee; we’ll just keep the candidates preferred by the peons from getting enough delegates so we can install someone we want at the GOP convention.
* Yes, we promised you that we’d fight Obama on the campaign trail, but if you actually expected us to do it, you’re a chump.
* Sure, we talked tough about illegal immigration to the yahoos to get elected, but now that we’re in office, we’re going to do the opposite.
* We’re going to use the contributions and influence of Republican Party organizations to defeat electable conservatives in GOP primaries because we prefer go-along-to-get-along moderates in Congress.
* We’re willing to do what you hicks want us to do on show votes, but when it really matters, we’re going to go against you and hope you’re not sophisticated enough to figure it out.
The Tea Party gave the Republican Party the House in 2010 and the establishment said, “We can’t do anything because the Democrats have the Senate and the White House.
Give us the Senate and EVERYTHING will change.
Then we’ll fight for you!”..."

All democrat. All corrupt.-----Officials dispute newly released email that ties Flint water switch to pay hike

Officials dispute newly released email that ties Flint water switch to pay hike | MLive.com:
FLINT, MI – Flint City Council members would have their pay restored in exchange for "consideration of major city initiatives," such as the switch to the Karegnondi Water Authority as the source of the city's drinking water, according to emails released by the governor's office.
However, the Flint City Council president at the time of the switch denied any such offer was made -- a claim echoed by a spokesman for Gov. Rick Snyder.
"It appears to be a poorly worded sentence that causes concern and not a nefarious plot," said Ari Adler, a spokesman for Snyder.
Emails released Thursday, March 10, by Snyder's office include an exchange by then-Deputy State Treasurer Roger Fraser to then-State Treasurer Andy Dillon explaining issues facing Flint, including the idea to switch to a new water pipeline."

Election by the Numbers: Trump and Cruz Tie With Equal Delegates | Glenn Beck:

"The media will tell you Donald Trump won the day on March 8. The real story, though, is about delegates.

“It’s an amazing thing that happened last night because it is all about delegate counts. And over the last two election days, Donald Trump and Ted Cruz have tied, each 121 delegates,” Glenn said Wednesday on The Glenn Beck Program."

THOSE DISRUPTIVE STUDENTS SHOULD BE DISCIPLINED, AND PERHAPS SUED: U of Texas Backs Professor in Dispute on Disrupted Event.
The University of Texas at Austin announced Wednesday that it found no wrongdoing by a professor in his actions in November when a lecture he organized was disrupted by pro-Palestinian students. The students interrupted the start of the lecture, which was on the Israeli military, with speeches of their own in which they criticized the Israeli military. The professor, Ami Pedahzur, then attempted to regain order and criticized the protesters, some of whom filed complaints accusing him of violating their rights and discriminating against them.

The university’s announcement Wednesday said that an investigation found the accusations against Pedahzur to be unsubstantiated. The university said policy bars it from releasing full reports on charges found to be unsubstantiated.
Protesting a speaker is fine.
Stopping a speaker from speaking is disruption and should be punished.
Abuse of process is wrongdoing and should be punished as well.
And the off-campus organizations backing the students — and there absolutely are off-campus organizations backing the students — have deep enough pockets to be worth suing."

Great rant! It's government, not private enterprise that's screwin' Americans!

"I've said this 100 times, the issue with poor people is NOT daily living items -- food and items like toilet paper and garbage bags are incredible cheap.
Four-rolls of toilet paper at Walmart is 69 cents.
That ain't breaking the budget.
What is?
Car insurance.
Rent.
Health care insurance and bills.
Car payments.
The same things that hit all of us.
This whole story is ridiculous.
The high cost of being broke?
Not being able to save 15 cents on your rolls of toilet paper is the straw that broke the camel's back?
Or is the 26 percent interest rate charge on the maxed-out credit card minimum payment?
Poor people have bad credit and get victimized over that.
My nephew is in Jackson County jail and I go visit him every week. The county charges him $15 a phone call for him to call his "loved ones" (scare quotes because that's how the jail website describes family members when trying to coax people at the end of their rope $15 to make a phone call.)
Wake up.
It ain't toilet paper that's the problem.
End of rant."

While it may seem to defy logic, being poor means you tend to pay more everyday household items.

"Let’s also keep in mind that this happened in the United Kingdom, where the government-run healthcare system ensures that there are no alternatives to this politically correct madness. Your safety and well-being is now in the hands of people who are more concerned about not offending religious employees — or rather, one specific group of religious employees — than your life.

Sleep well, Britain. You’re in good hands."

SCOTUS appointments matter-----Climate Alarmism versus Energy Reality

Climate Alarmism versus Energy Reality
It’s past time to take a closer look at the climate zealots’ science.
The Supreme Court’s stay of the EPA’s sweeping Clean Power Plan (CPP) is one of several developments undermining the efforts of President Obama and his fellow climate zealots.
The Obama administration expected the CPP to seal the U.N.’s first universal climate agreement, but now that the president’s grand plan has been put on hold until final judicial review on the merits, its fate will likely not be known until late 2017 at the earliest.
Furthermore, the prospects for upholding the power plan are not that strong.
As a legal condition of imposing the stay, the Supreme Court had to conclude that the EPA’s plan would likely be overruled in the Court’s final review.
Last December in Paris the climate agreement was declared a fait accompli, with representatives of around 190 countries expected to sign it on Earth Day (April 22) at the U.N.’s headquarters in New York.
...Stern last week warned the presidential candidates that they would be well advised to stop sowing seeds of doubt about the CPP.
In Brussels, Stern reassured EU officials that the Court’s freeze on the CPP would not weaken the EPA’s resolve on pledged carbon cuts or delay the signing of the agreement in April.
However, the European Union has good reason to worry about the viability of the Paris deal if the United States’ contribution is uncertain.
After ambitious green efforts over the last ten years, many EU member countries have substantial economic concerns about expanded carbon dictates.
As a result of the carbon policies they already have in place, Germany, Britain, and Spain have experienced soaring electricity rates, energy poverty, unsustainable subsidies, and industrial flight — all while failing to achieve meaningful carbon reductions.
The incoherence of the policies spawned by the U.N.’s earlier Kyoto climate accord is increasingly undeniable.
Germany is subsidizing the construction of coal-fired power plants as necessary backups to renewables, and Britain is burning wood imported from the United States to generate electricity on a massive scale.
Renamed “biomass” and declared “carbon neutral,” wood is no less polluting than coal.
Headlines in the Daily Mail excoriate the retrofit of Britain’s largest coal plant to burn wood as a “forest-destroying symbol of the shameful absurdity of European energy policies.”
...Another debilitating factor for the climate crusade is the fact that plans are being made to build 2,400 new coal plants in China, India, Japan, and other Asian nations.
And regardless of ever shriller claims that the science behind global warming is absolutely settled, mounting evidence invalidates the modeled predictions of the IPCC — the official scientific anchor of the crusade.
For decades, the IPCC models have failed to accurately forecast temperature as observed by the most sophisticated technology: NASA’s remote sensing satellites and balloons..."

Obama Illegally Redistributed 500 Million Tax Dollars to the UN Green Slush Fund

Obama Illegally Redistributed 500 Million Tax Dollars to the UN Green Slush Fund | http://www.independentsentinel.com:
"Barack Obama negotiated a climate change treaty in secret.
He did not discuss the treaty with Congress but instead negotiated it by himself and with some of the world’s most oppressive foreign leaders in the U.N.
The treaty requires the U.S. to donate resources and wealth to the world’s developing countries to be distributed by the statists in the U.N.
This is another form of Marxist redistribution, only this time it will be given to corrupt dictatorial governments without any accountability and with no veto power by the American people.
It is endless taxation without representation.
Congress acted by prohibiting the use of funds for this purpose but Obama is doing it anyway and Congress only found out by reading the newspapers.
Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) asked a State Department official why $500 million was illegally removed without congressional approval to be put into the UN’s Green Climate slush fund.
Congress made it clear the money was not to be allocated for the dictators’ club.
Obama “unilaterally pledged about three billion dollars for UN climate fund” and only Congress can appropriate the funds and they have not authorized any funding for the international climate change agenda, Barrasso told a State Department official.
Congress has specifically “prohibited” any funds to the UN climate change slush fund.
Barrsso said no money was allocated for it but “now media is reporting this morning that the administration deposited $500 million into the UN Green Climate Fund.
It appears to be the latest example of the administration going around Congress because the American people don’t really support what the ‘president’ is doing with this initiative.”
“We have reviewed our authorities and made a determination that we can make this um uh payment to the green climate fund,” the Obama minion said..."

Babeu said 1,500 Border Patrol agents that are mandated by Congress “are not being hired and we see a submission of another 300 Border Patrol agents that are being cut. That’s approaching almost 10 percent of our Border Patrol that is not being added to guard and defend America.”

Babeu said rising terrorism threats make this a dangerous time to leave the border poorly guarded."

Judicial Watch: Documents Reveal US Army Indoctrinated Soldiers on Dangers of ‘White Privilege’

Judicial Watch: Documents Reveal US Army Indoctrinated Soldiers on Dangers of ‘White Privilege’ - Judicial Watch:
‘Our society attaches privilege to being white and male and heterosexual.’
(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that it obtained documents from the United States Department of the Army revealing that in April 2015, 400 soldiers in the 67th Signal Battalion at Fort Gordon, Georgia, were subjected to a “white privilege” briefing, including a PowerPoint presentation instructing the attendees: “Our society attaches privilege to being white and male and heterosexual …”
The slideshow also informed the soldiers: “Race privilege gives whites little reason to pay a lot of attention to African Americans.” It alleged that there are unspecified “powerful forces everywhere” keeping different kinds of people from being valued, accepted, and appreciated, but “we act as if it doesn’t exist.” This alleged privilege creates a “yawning divide” in income, wealth, and dignity.  The material described a mythical African woman who isn’t aware that she’s black until she comes to America, encounters “white racism” and discovers the U.S. is “organized according to race.”
...The response to the Judicial Watch FOIA request included the entire Equal Opportunity Training PowerPoint presentation entitled “Power and Privilege,” which states:
Privilege exists when one group has something of value that is denied to others simply because of the groups they belong to, rather than because of anything they’ve done or failed to do.

Privilege has become one of those loaded words we need to reclaim so that we can use it to name and illuminate the truth

***
Race privilege gives whites little reason to pay a lot of attention to African Americans or to how white privilege affects them. “To be white in American [sic] means not having to think about it” [Quotation not attributed]

Obama Administration’s Opposition to FOIA Reform Seen as Another Knock on Its Claim to Be the ‘Most Transparent’ in History | TheBlaze.com:

"The Obama administration actively opposed bipartisan legislation to reform the Freedom of Information Act, which have forced the federal government to be more transparent and streamline the release of documents to the public.

That’s according to documents obtained by the Freedom of the Press Foundation, a transparency nonprofit advocacy group, that obtained 114 pages of documents between the Justice Department and members of Congress regarding the FOIA reform bill largely sought to codify President Barack Obama’s “presumption of openness” into law."

Students, upset over 'colonialism,' demand College of Liberation to prop up 'marginalized peoples' - The College Fix:
“Demand” lists from aggrieved college students continue to pop up on campuses around the country, the latest hailing from Western Washington University where students have clamored for a “College of Power and Liberation” for the study of “marginalized peoples.”
Students stormed a board meeting last month to present their demand list, bemoaning a “legacy of colonialism” as they did so.
The Student Assembly for Power and Liberation, the group leading the charge, says on Facebook the university is a “structure that has intentionally been built to uphold white supremacy and simultaneously push out historically marginalized identities.”
“In order to meet the growing needs and demands for educational opportunities that emerge from and contribute to movements for social justice, especially those that reflect the histories and experiences of marginalized peoples, we call for the creation and full implementation of the College of Power and Liberation,” the demand list states..."

Americans Don’t Read… and that’s Affecting our Elections

Americans Don’t Read… and that’s Affecting our Elections | Intellectual Takeout:
In 2013, the Nation’s Report Card showed that only 38% of high school seniors were proficient in reading.
...the following U.S. literacy statistics are even more alarming:

  • 14% of adults can’t read.
  • Only 13% of adults can read at a proficient level.
  • 28% of adults didn’t read a book in the last year.
  • 50% of adults can’t a read book written at an 8th grade level.

But so what, right? In our enlightened digital age, what harm does it really bring if American literacy is tanking?
A lot of harm, according to John Adams, particularly when it comes to elections. In 1761, he noted:
“The very Ground of our Liberties, is the freedom of Elections. Every Man has in Politicks as well as Religion, a Right to think and speak and Act for himself. No man either King or Subject, Clergyman or Layman has any Right to dictate to me the Person I shall choose for my Legislator and Ruler. I must judge for myself, but how can I judge, how can any Man judge, unless his Mind has been opened and enlarged by Reading. A Man who can read, will find in his Bible, in the common sermon Books that common People have by them and even in the Almanack and News Papers, Rules and observations, that will enlarge his Range of Thought, and enable him the better to judge who has and who has not that Integrity of Heart, and that Compass of Knowledge and Understanding, which form the Statesman.”
Considering the state of the 2016 election, would you say it’s high time for Americans to step up their literacy game?"

NOAA Radiosonde Data Shows No Warming For 58 Years

NOAA Radiosonde Data Shows No Warming For 58 Years | Real Science:
"In their “hottest year ever” press briefing, NOAA included this graph, which stated that they have a 58 year long radiosonde temperature record. But they only showed the last 37 years in the graph.
2016-03-07060741
Here is why they are hiding the rest of the data. The earlier data showed as much pre-1979 cooling as the post-1979 warming.
 2016-03-07060842
2016-03-07060954
I combined the two graphs at the same scale below, and put a horizontal red reference line in, which shows that the earth’s atmosphere has not warmed at all since the late 1950’s
2016-03-07060229
The omission of this data from the NOAA report, is just their latest attempt to defraud the public.
NOAA’s best data shows no warming for 60 years.
But it gets worse.
The graph in the NOAA report shows about 0.5C warming from 1979 to 2010, but their original published data shows little warming during that period.

Iran's Cash for Murder: Why is the UK Silent?

Iran's Cash for Murder: Why is the UK Silent?:
  • The Iranian distribution of cash to families of terrorists is an open incitement to an ongoing campaign of murder. It should by now have not only been condemned by the whole world, but have caused a colossal rethink among the P5+1 nations that signed the ill-judged accord with Iran.
  • It is worth considering another recent Iranian development: the decision -- allegedly by a conglomeration of media outlets, but hardly able to be separated from the government in a country whose press is more "government" than "free" -- to increase the cash-bounty on the head of the British novelist Salman Rushdie.
  • The British government has been strangely mute on the matter. The "normalised" relations with Iran were meant to lead to business opportunities for Britain and an increase in decent behavior from Tehran. Instead, the first major test of Iranian-British relations in several decades turns out to be precisely the same test that the late Ayatollah Khomeini drew up in 1989.
