Melania Trump's Big Difference from Michelle Obama: American Pride - Breitbart:
"Whether or not Melania Trump cribbed a passage from a Michelle Obama speech, there is one crucial sentiment Donald Trump’s Slovenian born wife certainly didn’t copy from Obama’s — the inherent pride of being an American citizen.
As the media pours over one passage in Melania Trump’s Republican National Convention speech that is similar to Michelle Obama’s 2008 speech at the Democratic National Convention, they overlook a key sentence that was undeniably written by Mrs. Trump and reveals all the difference in the world between these two women and their husbands.
“On July 28th, 2006, I was very proud to become a citizen of the United States — the greatest privilege on planet Earth,” the smiling Mrs. Trump said to thunderous applause.
...What a difference these sentiments are to Michelle Obama’s infamous remarks during the 2008 campaign, when she said, “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country.”
Why was she suddenly proud “for the first time” in her “adult life”? Because her husband was running for president.
Contrast that with Melania Trump’s inherent pride in being an American citizen, which in her words is “the greatest privilege on planet Earth.”
That was the most important line in Melania Trump’s speech.
And she didn’t steal it from Michelle Obama."

A Heartfelt Plea, Nation of Islam and Blood on Obama’s Hands — All in a Weekend | Glenn Beck
A Heartfelt Plea, Nation of Islam and Blood on Obama’s Hands — All in a Weekend | Glenn Beck:
"“I don’t know if anybody noticed, but there was talk — serious talk — on television about martial law in America. We haven’t even hit the tough times yet, gang,” Glenn said. “They’re talking in Cleveland today, chief of police who says, ‘I’m an NRA member. I’m a gun guy. I’m a Second Amendment guy, but can’t we just suspend this concealed weapons permit just for a while?'”
Suspending the second amendment is never a good idea and this example just goes to show politicians often miss the mark on these issues. President Obama barely paid lip service to the fallen police officers while glorifying the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement and those who were shot by police.
This was not lost on the president of the Cleveland Police Association, who came out with the following statement:
The president of the United States validated the false narrative and the nonsense that Black Lives Matter and the media are pressing out there to the public, validated with his very divisive statements,"

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
"Erdoğan was a semi-professional footballer playing for Kasımpaşa Spor Kulübü before being elected as the Mayor of Istanbul from the Islamist Welfare Party in 1994.
He was stripped and banned from office after being sentenced to 10 months in prison for inciting religious intolerance in 1998, after which he abandoned openly Islamist politics and established the moderate conservative AKP in 2001.
The AKP won a landslide victory in the 2002 general election, with the party's co-founder Abdullah Gül becoming Prime Minister until his government annulled Erdoğan's ban from political office. Erdoğan subsequently became Prime Minister in March 2003 after winning a seat in a by-election held in Siirt.[6]"
...A US$100 billion government corruption scandal in 2013 led to the arrests of Erdoğan's close allies, with Erdoğan himself incriminated after a recording was released on social media.[15][16][17]
Erdoğan's government has since come under fire for electoral fraud, demeaning the Constitution, alleged human rights violations and crackdown on press and social media, having blocked access to Twitter, Facebook and YouTube on numerous occasions.[18][19][20][21]
Opposition journalists and politicians have thus branded him a "dictator".[22][23][24][25][26]

"T-word"?-----New Progressive Media Lunacy: 'Terrorist' is a Biased Word
New Progressive Media Lunacy: 'Terrorist' is a Biased Word | PJ Media
"Off the deep end.
"Off the deep end.
This is boilerplate leftist navel gazing, which they're especially prone to after terrorism attacks.
Even when they're finally talking about it, they aren't really talking about it.
Even when they're finally talking about it, they aren't really talking about it.
Some of my fellow word people, in discussing this same issue, have arrived at a less extreme conclusion than mine: Just use the T-word consistently, they say. Maybe that was once the right advice, but words and their connotations change over time with their usage, and therefore so must news organization policies.
The big problem with illegal immigrant wasn’t that reporters applied it inconsistently—the term simply became too judgmental, too toxic for neutral copy. So, in 2013, the Associated Press Stylebook dropped it.Likewise, I think we’ve reached the same point with the T-word. Reuters—a less influential force in American journalism style than the AP—agrees with me.
There you have it, we are simply not using the word "terrorist" consistently!
I would argue that the MSM has a problem of frequency when it comes to calling terrorists what they are.
Since the attack in Nice, I've read and heard a lot about a "truck attack" and a "lone wolf," but "terrorist" has been used as sparingly as if rent were being paid for its utterance.
The notion that being "too judgmental" when merely referring to terrorists is problematic is quite, well, insane.
This just adds another dangerous layer of make-believe to the denial dance that the press does in concert with left-leaning politicians.
There is a lot that is nuanced in this complex, dangerous world.
Figuring out who the terrorists are and labeling them as such isn't one of them, however. This is all very simple, and anyone fancying him or herself a deep thinker because he or she introduces complexity to something simple isn't very bright."Secret Document Shows Key Iran Deal Restrictions Will Ease in Next Decade | TheBlaze.com

Hillary: White Americans Need To Do A Better Job Recognizing Their Privilege - Breitbart:
"Monday in Cincinnati at the 107th NAACP convention, presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said white Americans need to “recognize our privilege and and practice humility.”
Clinton said, “We white Americans need to do a better job of listening when African-Americans talk about the seen and unseen barriers you face everyday.
We need to recognize our privilege and and practice humility, rather than assume our experiences are everyone’s experiences.”

The TSA is a multibillion dollar agency with nearly zero redeemable qualities.
It can only act in hindsight, does almost nothing to make traveling safer, and seemingly devotes most of its screening efforts to toddlers, cancer patients, and ensuring carry-on liquids do not exceed three ounces.
What it lacks in competency, it makes up in misconduct.
Lines at security checkpoints have slowed to a crawl.
Making it through the tedious, invasive process sometimes means inadvertently "donating" expensive electronics to sticky-fingered agents.
The TSA's morale is generally on par with Congress' approval rates.
And, when it's all said and done, the people hired to protect travelers just plain suck at their job.
Despite the Transportation Security Administration's ten-point action plan to reduce long lines at airports across the country, lengthy queues remain. Now, the TSA's summer may be getting even worse: According to a recent report from the House Homeland Security Commission entitled "Misconduct at TSA Threatens the Security of the Flying Public", nearly half of the TSA’s 60,000 employees have been cited for misconduct in recent years.
As Katherine LaGrave of the Conde Nast Traveler points out, the problem is only getting worse. Complaints are up 28% over the last three years, with larger airports averaging a complaint a week.
Long lines may be causing a spike in the complaints, but the misconduct detailed in the report has very little to do directly with this issue..."

WWI Re-enactors Banned from Taking Antique Rifles to France:

Instead of using their own rifles, thought to date back to 1907, the group was told to buy replica rifles in France for £1,200 to use in their reenactment of the Pals’ advance across “No Man’s Land” towards German lines.
Unfortunately, members of the society caught with their rifles still faced charges for firearms offenses. ...Under the new EU Firearms Directive, however, rifles are required to have their magazines fixed or blocked.

The Clinton Foundation Enriched Itself By Ripping Off Haiti After 2010 Earthquake
REPORT: The Clinton Foundation Enriched Itself By Ripping Off Haiti After 2010 Earthquake: "...How the Clinton Foundation Got Rich off Poor Haitians
In January 2015 a group of Haitians surrounded the New York offices of the Clinton Foundation. They chanted slogans, accusing Bill and Hillary Clinton of having robbed them of “billions of dollars.”
Two months later, the Haitians were at it again, accusing the Clintons of duplicity, malfeasance, and theft.
And in May 2015, they were back, this time outside New York’s Cipriani, where Bill Clinton received an award and collected a $500,000 check for his foundation.
“Clinton, where’s the money?” the Haitian signs read. “In whose pockets?” Said Dhoud Andre of the Commission Against Dictatorship, “We are telling the world of the crimes that Bill and Hillary Clinton are responsible for in Haiti.”
...The devastating effect of the earthquake on a very poor nation provoked worldwide concern and inspired an outpouring of aid money intended to rebuild Haiti.
Countries around the world, as well as private and philanthropic groups such as the Red Cross and the Salvation Army, provided some $10.5 billion in aid, with $3.9 billion of it coming from the United States.
Haitians such as Andre, however, noticed that very little of this aid money actually got to poor people in Haiti.
Some projects championed by the Clintons, such as the building of industrial parks and posh hotels, cost a great deal of money and offered scarce benefits to the truly needy.
Port-au-Prince was supposed to be rebuilt; it was never rebuilt.
Projects aimed at creating jobs proved to be bitter disappointments.
Haitian unemployment remained high, largely undented by the funds that were supposed to pour into the country.
Famine and illness continued to devastate the island nation."

Lemon began the interview by asking Clarke what his message was to American citizens in the wake of another attack on police just about a week after the shootings in Dallas. The CNN anchor said that he spoke to the Baton Rouge sheriff’s department and police department.
“Their message is peace and coming together in the country. What’s your message?” he asked.

WOW: Oklahoma Makes Massive Move to Strip ALL Power From Barack Obama:

"On CNN last evening, Georgia State professor Mia Bloom claimed that the terror group ISIS was not “coming after us,” and expressed concern that attacks like that in Nice, France yesterday increase the “degree of right-wing politics” and Islamophobia.
Bloom took issue with former CIA analyst Bruce Sexton whom she believed wasn’t aware that the majority of ISIS’s victims are Muslims.
“I do disagree with Mr. Sexton, because the fact is, and I’ll say this to you, Buck, directly, the vast majority of ISIS’ victims are Muslim. Not us. Not the West,” she said in a somewhat mocking tone.“I’m fully aware of that,” Sexton said. “No one disputes that.”An animated Bloom took exception to Sexton earlier saying “they’re coming after us,” saying, “They’re not coming after us more than they’re coming after each other.”“I was referring to the Islamic State, which very clearly through its external operations arm … along with al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula which until recently was considered the most virulent and deadly of the jihadist terrorist organizations for this kind of external plotting, they’re continuing to do this,” he said. “Of course they’re killing Muslims.”He said he’d seen their “handiwork” in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. After CNN host Don Lemon cut in to make a nonsensical point about the killers being Muslim, Sexton said he was confused that Bloom was accusing him of saying Muslims didn’t make up the majority of the victims from these terrorists.“Because you said they’re coming after us,” Bloom said. “They’re not just coming after us.““Yes, they are in fact coming after us!“ Sexton shouted. “Do you want me to sit here and talk to you about all the terrorist—”“But they’re mostly going after each other,” she shot back.“When I say us, I’m referring to America and Europe and the West and all peaceful Muslims and everyone around the world who doesn’t believe that strapping a suicide vest on because you’re disaffected, because you have some belief that somehow this will take you to a place of paradise and virgins, whatever the case may be, everybody who isn’t on that team is on my team,” Sexton said. “This notion you have in your head that when I say us, I’m referring to what? Republican Americans?”
Sexton tore into Bloom’s “preposterous” implication and ridiculed “knee-jerk reaction” that’s frequently expressed by those on the left regarding the “bad rhetoric” from folks attempting “to speak honestly about terrorism.”
Detroit ranked highest in luxury vs. non-luxury rent disparity
Detroit ranked highest in luxury vs. non-luxury rent disparity | MLive.com:
"Among large U.S. cities, Detroit has the nation's widest gap between luxury and non-luxury apartment rental rates, according to figures gathered by a company that helps renters find homes.
In the report from RENTCafé, Detroit was ranked No. 1 among cities with at least 500,000 residents, with an average luxury apartment rental rate nearly twice as expensive as the average non-luxury unit.
The study compiled rent data across 300 cities with at least 800 apartment units, and looked only at buildings with at least 50 units.
Luxury apartments in Detroit cost, on average, $1,512 a month, according to RentCafe.
The average non-luxury unit: $789, according to the study.
The jump from normal to luxurious means a 92-percent average rate hike. Chicago was ranked second, with an 83-percent disparity.
More on the study here.
A Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies report released earlier this year showed that around 21.3 million renters (49.3 percent) in the U.S., were living in rental units that cost more than 30 percent of their income.
And more than a quarter of the renting population were spending more than half their income on housing.
