It’s Time for Conservatives to Boycott the NFL - John Hawkins

It’s Time for Conservatives to Boycott the NFL - John Hawkins:

"Now, watching a football game requires you to put up with spoiled, pampered, privileged, obscenely wealthy man-children disrespecting America during the national anthem. As if that isn’t bad enough, you turn on ESPN or somewhere else discussing sports and what do you hear? Liberals talking about how great it is that these football players are crapping all over the country that made them rich and famous.
Forget about rushing for 100 yards and throwing 4 touchdowns in a game; if you really want people to talk about you, just tell everyone about how racist America is and how awful the police are because the latest criminal who was “about to turn his life around and go to college” gets shot after doing something insanely stupid and dangerous with a cop around."

Worthy read-----The Experiment: Capitalism versus Socialism

The Experiment: Capitalism versus Socialism | The Arts Mechanical
It comes down to the Mercedes or the Trabant
Paul Driessen writes:
University of Delaware climatology professor (and amateur history buff) David Legates offers some fascinating insights into a persuasive socio-economic experiment.
His analysis could provide handy intellectual ammunition for ongoing battles between free enterprise-oriented Republicans and committed socialists in the Democratic camp.
What if we could destroy a country’s political and economic fabric through a natural disaster – or a war – and then rebuild one half of it using capitalism as its base, while the other rebuilds on a socialist foundation?
David wonders.
Let the virtues of each system work their magic, and then see where the two new countries are after fifty years.
Actually, he says, we’ve already performed The Experiment.
It’s post-war Germany – and the outcome ought to end the debate over which system is better..."

"In a stunning Friday (isn't it always?) revelation, we found out that yet another key figure from Hillary Clinton's "rat pack" -- her former chief-of-staff Cheryl Mills - was given immunity in the email server investigation.

As Ed Morrissey points out, that makes "at least five" -- who knows how many there really are -- who have received this treatment.  "

More than 1,800 people who were supposed to be deported as national security threats were given citizenship instead … by accident. - AEI | Foreign and Defense Policy Blog » AEIdeas
"Yesterday was not a good day for building confidence in the ability of the US government to screen for terrorists.
...the Washington Post reported that a Department of Homeland Security inspector general’s report found that the US government not only missed more than 800 other potential terrorists, it mistakenly gave them US citizenship:
Image result for obama terrirists…at least 858 immigrants from countries that pose national security threats or their neighbors who have mistakenly been granted citizenship. They were naturalized despite being ordered to be removed from the country, because the government couldn’t match their identities to their removal orders.
These immigrants were supposed to be deported because they posed a threat to national security, but instead they were given the right to vote.
Wait, it gets worse.
CNN then reported that the number of individuals mistakenly granted citizenship is more than twice as large as initially reported:
[T]he truth is the report is even worse than reported, with more than 1,800 individuals naturalized who should have been deported from the country…. The Inspector General determined that the agency granted citizenship to 858 individuals who had been ordered deported or removed under another identity but “their digital fingerprint records were not available” during the naturalization process..."

CAPTURED! Cascade Mall gunman who killed 5 has been identified as a Turkish MUSLIM who is a Hillary Clinton supporter – BARE NAKED ISLAM:
"Sorry liberals, we know how desperately you wanted the mass murderer to be white or hispanic, but as usual, it turns out he is a Muslim.

He has been identified as Arcan Cetin, a native of Adana, Turkey.
WND As for the motive, law enforcement sources say Cetin’s ex-girlfriend use to work at the Macy’s where the shooting happened.

However, she had not worked there in several months and now lives in Pierce County.
But that connection appears to be why Cetin chose that location.
The motive is what it always is whenever it’s a Muslim – Islamic Jihad.
Like most Muslims, he is a big Hillary Clinton supporter:

MuskegonPundit: Europe's looming demise - Washington Times
"The Europe as you know it from visiting, from your parents or friends is on the verge of collapsing," Geert Wilders said in a speech in the United States last year.
The leader of the Netherlands' populist Party for Freedom added:
"We are now witnessing profound changes that will forever alter Europe's destiny and might send the Continent in what Ronald Reagan called 'a thousand years of darkness.' "
And not just Europe, but America as well.
Been to Europe lately?
Thought it was bad?
You ain't seen nothing yet.
The passage of the Lisbon Treaty, hailed by President Obama, nailed the coffin shut on national sovereignty in Europe
The people of Europe fought it, but were overwhelmed by their political elites and the lack of American leadership in this age of our rather Marxist, collectivist U.S. president.
Come Jan. 1, 2010, a disastrous and suicidal pact called the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership(Europe/Mediterranean) goes into effect with little fanfare or examination.
It boggles the mind that such a consequential and seismic cultural shift could be mandated and put into play without so much as a murmur from the mainstream media.
Why should Americans care about this?
Americans have to care because this global gobbledygook is coming to our shores, thanks to our globalist president....
....The goal of the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation is to create a new Greater European Union encompassing both Europe and North Africa, with the Mediterranean Sea becoming a domestic Eurabian sea.
The goal is to establish a "comprehensive political partnership," including a "free trade area and economic integration"; "considerably more money for the partners" (that is, more European money flowing into North Africa); and "cultural partnership" - that is, importation of Islamic culture into post-Christian Europe.
According to the SIOE, in the Euro-Med plan "Europe is to be islamized.
Democracy, Christianity, European culture and Europeans are to be driven out of Europe.
Fifty million North Africans from Muslim countries are to be imported into the EU."
Skeptical?
It's already happening.
The British newspaper the Daily Express reported in October 2008 on "a controversial taxpayer-funded 'job centre' " that opened in Mali at that time as "just the first step towards promoting 'free movement of people in Africa and the EU.'
Brussels economists claim Britain and other EU states will 'need' 56 million immigrant workers between them by 2050 to make up for the 'demographic decline' due to falling birthrates and rising death rates across Europe."
To offset this decline, a "blue card" system is to be created that will allow card holders to travel freely within the European Union and have full rights to work - as well as the full right to collect welfare benefits.

Brave woman!-----Juanita Broaddrick would confront Hillary if Trump invited her to debate

Juanita Broaddrick would confront Hillary if Trump invited her to debate - The American MirrorThe American Mirror:
"When Juanita Broaddrick heard Bill Clinton mistress Gennifer Flowers could be attending the first presidential debate as Donald Trump’s guest, she says that might be an opportunity she would welcome, too.
Juanita Broaddrick“Sure I would like to be at such an epic event just to look Hillary in the face,” Broaddrick exclusively tells The American Mirror.
When asked what she would say to Clinton, Broaddrick responded, “Remember me? I’m the one your husband raped and you threatened. I’m still here telling the truth and you are a liar.”
Broaddrick says then-Arkansas Attorney General Bill Clinton raped her in a Little Rock hotel room in 1978 while he was campaigning for governor.
She claims after the incident, Hillary confronted her and grabbed her arm in an attempt to silence her.
While having Bill Clinton’s mistresses and alleged victims at a presidential debate would no doubt be controversial and risky for Trump, Broaddrick believes it would accomplish a serious mission.
“To remind everyone who supports her that she covered up and attacked so many women her husband sexually abused and had affairs with,” she says of what it would mean.
“She did it all for power and money.
She is not for women’s rights when it comes to Bill Clinton’s victims,” Broaddrick tells The American Mirror..."

Obama weighs in on Hillary Clinton's private emails - CBS News:
"President Obama only learned of Hillary Clinton's private email address use for official State Department business after a New York Times report, he told CBS News in an interview.
CBS News senior White House correspondent Bill Plante asked Mr. Obama when he learned about her private email system after his Saturday appearance in Selma, Alabama.
"The same time everybody else learned it through news reports," the president told Plante.
Mr. Obama's comments follow a long week of media scrutiny surrounding Hillary Clinton's private email address and the "home-brewed" server that hosted it.
"The policy of my administration is to encourage transparency, which is why my emails, the BlackBerry I carry around, all those records are available and archived," Mr. Obama said.
"I'm glad that Hillary's instructed that those emails about official business need to be disclosed..."

Under such conditions education would be impossible, and all orderly development intellectually or morally would be hopeless. I do not need to picture the result. We know too well what weakness and depravity follow when the ordinary processes of discipline are neglected. …”

Dead people voting in Colorado

Dead people voting in Colorado | Washington Examiner:
"Local officials in Colorado acknowledged "very serious" voter fraud after learning of votes cast in multiple elections under the named of recently-deceased residents.
A local media outlet uncovered the fraud by comparing voting history databases in the state with federal government death records.
"Somebody was able to cast a vote that was not theirs to cast," El Paso County Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman told CBS4 while discussing what he called a "very serious" pattern of people mailing in ballots on behalf of the dead.
It's not clear how many fraudulent ballots have been submitted in recent years.
CBS4 reported that it "found multiple cases" of dead people voting around the state, revelations that have provoked state criminal investigations.
"We do believe there were several instances of potential vote fraud that occurred," said Colorado Secretary of State Wayne Williams.
"It shows there is the potential for fraud."

Clinton's eyes — a window into her health issues | TheHill
"In 2014 Conan O'Brien did a spoof of Hillary Clinton's interview with Diane Sawyer about her lack of lingering health issues following her 2012 concussion. In an obviously photoshopped version Clinton's eyes are made to oscillate crazily. It was a very funny piece.
Now, it may not seem so funny.
Hillary Clinton exhibited abnormal eye movements during her recent speech in Philadelphia and they were not photoshopped.
Her eyes did not always move in the same direction at the same time.
It appears that she has a problem with her left sixth cranial nerve.
...Dysfunction of that muscle causes the striking picture of the eyes not aiming in the same direction and causes the patient to suffer double vision.
Like all things medical, there is a long list of potential causes but in my opinion the most likely one, based on Clinton's known medical history is an intermittent lateral rectus palsy caused by damage to or pressure on her sixth cranial nerve..."

TV Ad Spending Reveals the States Where Trump and Clinton Are Fighting Hardest

TV Ad Spending Reveals the States Where Trump and Clinton Are Fighting Hardest:
"Hillary Clinton continues to dominate Donald Trump when it comes to overall spending on television advertising.
She not only started spending on general election TV ads two months sooner, but also consistently spends more each week than Trump.
During the week that started Sept. 13, she spent $11.5 million, compared to $2.4 million for Trump.
This includes the nearly $35 million that Clinton has spent on national advertising—national cable, and NBC during the Olympics—which Trump hasn't gone in for yet at all.
But how far will those dollars go toward winning the White House?
You can get insight into where the candidates think TV ads will most improve their chances by examining the dollars spent per electoral vote.
Out of the nine battleground states where Hillary Clinton spent money on TV ads last week, she spent the most per electoral vote in Nevada and Florida.
Meanwhile, Trump advertised in just four states, spending half as much or less per electoral vote as Clinton in each of them.

New Zealand Farmers Thrive Without Government Subsidies

New Zealand Farmers Thrive Without Government Subsidies
"In 2006, Chris Hausman, a fourth-generation Midwestern farmer long accustomed to depending on government support for survival, traveled across the world to witness a revolution in agriculture.
It had been more than 20 years since a left-leaning government in New Zealand chose to eliminate government subsidies for farmers, and Hausman was surprised at what had transpired since.
“I will tell you it was a shock to their agricultural system,” says Hausman, 58, who farms corn and soybeans on a 1,500-acre plot 150 miles south of Chicago.
“You had a system dictated by government programs that was thrown out the window overnight,” Hausman adds in a recent interview with The Daily Signal.
“But the farmers kind of reinvented themselves and now New Zealand is a powerhouse when it comes to agricultural production on the world stage.”
...“Every country is different—that’s an important caveat to put on the conversation,” said Mike Petersen, New Zealand’s special agricultural trade envoy, during an event last week at The Heritage Foundation.
“But what I can say is that we did start an incredible process of innovation, guts, and determination from those people who really wanted to make this work.”
...Facing a budget crisis in 1984, the incoming Labour government took the first step in implementing a long list of market reforms when it eliminated about 30 different agricultural production subsidies and export incentives..."

Gettin' more dangerous!-----Why the silencing of KrebsOnSecurity opens a troubling chapter for the ‘Net

Why the silencing of KrebsOnSecurity opens a troubling chapter for the ‘Net | Ars Technica
"For the better part of a day, KrebsOnSecurity, arguably the world's most intrepid source of security news, has been silenced, presumably by a handful of individuals who didn't like a recent series of exposés reporter Brian Krebs wrote.
The incident, and the record-breaking data assault that brought it on, open a troubling new chapter in the short history of the Internet.
The crippling distributed denial-of-service attacks started shortly after Krebs published stories stemming from the hack of a DDoS-for-hire service known as vDOS.
The first article analyzed leaked data that identified some of the previously anonymous people closely tied to vDOS.
It documented how they took in more than $600,000 in two years by knocking other sites offline.
A few days later, Krebs ran a follow-up piece detailing the arrests of two men who allegedly ran the service.
A third post in the series is here.
On Thursday morning, exactly two weeks after Krebs published his first post, he reported that a sustained attack was bombarding his site with as much as 620 gigabits per second of junk data.
That staggering amount of data is among the biggest ever recorded.
Krebs was able to stay online thanks to the generosity of Akamai, a network provider that supplied DDoS mitigation services to him for free.
The attack showed no signs of waning as the day wore on. Some indications suggest it may have grown stronger.
At 4 pm, Akamai gave Krebs two hours' notice that it would no longer assume the considerable cost of defending KrebsOnSecurity.
Krebs opted to shut down the site to prevent collateral damage hitting his service provider and its customers.
"It's hard to imagine a stronger form of censorship than these DDoS attacks because if nobody wants to take you on then that's pretty effective censorship," Krebs told Ars on Friday. "I've had a couple of big companies offer and then think better of offering to help me. That's been frustrating."

"“What we’ve gotten out of the Internet, under the shelter of a private American organization that contracts with the Commerce Department, [is] one of the few cases that I can think of in our history where we’ve had that kind of government involvement without regulation and interference,” said Bolton.
He continued:
But because it’s entirely a U.S. government proposition with U.S. people involved, the Internet has been free and open. If, as the Administration wants to do, it’s transferred to an international body, I will predict right here: within 10 years it will come under the control of the United Nations, and the Internet as we know it will end because there are governments around the world that are already doing everything they can to prevent a free and open Internet in their countries, and it will extend to ours in due course."

LED Streetlights Are Giving Neighborhoods the Blues

LED Streetlights Are Giving Neighborhoods the Blues - IEEE Spectrum
"Early adopters of LED street lighting are struggling with glare and light pollution
You may have noticed them going up in your town’s streets and parking lots: a new generation of pole-mounted lights that pour down a cool torrent of lumens from an array of light-emitting diodes. Like me, you might have welcomed this development. LEDs are, after all, the most energy-efficient lighting option on the market.
They can last twice as long as ordinary sodium-vapor streetlights, and their prices have dropped to within range of the competition.
If the switch to LEDs had needed any more support, it came from growing evidence about climate change.
In the United States, street lighting accounts for a whopping 30 percent [PDF] of all the energy used to generate electricity for outdoor lighting.
...Armed with statistics like these, and a mandate to cut energy use wherever they can, municipalities across the United States have installed more than 5.7 million outdoor LED street and area lights.
...For some, those first LED lights have been a fiasco.
The harsh glare of certain blue-rich designs is now thought to disrupt people’s sleep patterns and harm nocturnal animals.
And these concerns have been heaped on the complaints of astronomers, who as far back as 2009 have criticized the new lights.
...The episode invites a few questions: How did an energy-saving technology that looked so promising wind up irritating so many people...?

Obama used a pseudonym in emails with Clinton, FBI documents reveal - POLITICO:
"President Barack Obama used a pseudonym in email communications with Hillary Clinton and others, according to FBI records made public Friday.
The disclosure came as the FBI released its second batch of documents from its investigation into Clinton’s private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.
...In an April 5, 2016 interview with the FBI, Abedin was shown an email exchange between Clinton and Obama, but the longtime Clinton aide did not recognize the name of the sender.
"Once informed that the sender's name is believed to be pseudonym used by the president, Abedin exclaimed: 'How is this not classified?'" the report says.
"Abedin then expressed her amazement at the president's use of a pseudonym and asked if she could have a copy of the email."
...The State Department has refused to make public that and other emails Clinton exchanged with Obama.
Lawyers have cited the "presidential communications privilege," a variation of executive privilege, in order to withhold the messages under the Freedom of Information Act..."

Up to 15% of Noncitizens in US Are Voting, Alleges Expert:
"The Obama administration opposes states verifying citizenship status of registered voters.
Inquiries into voter fraud are typically met with derision from both government and the media—and in at least one instance with prosecution.
Prosecutors don’t prioritize voter fraud, while convictions only garner light sentences.
These are among the voter fraud problems facing the United States, experts noted this week, even as prominent voices on the left say such fraud is a myth.
Image result for vote fraudThe left’s opposition to voter integrity laws or even inquiry can be simply explained, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said.
“Why on earth would you not want to make sure that only citizens are registered and voting?” Fitton, author of “Clean House: Exposing Our Government’s Secrets and Lies,” said at a forum at The Heritage Foundation Tuesday.
“That to me shows that the Obama administration and the left generally, which is behind this, wants to be able to steal elections if necessary.
