I guess it’s time to pull Kellogg’s cereal off of our shelves at home if Kellogg’s is going to punish businesses who have been falsely labeled as “racist” because they hold conservative views…

Kellogg Co. is pulling its ads from the website Breitbart News, the right-wing news organization whose former chairman Steve Bannon was tapped as a top adviser to President-elect Donald Trump.

Brands that advertise on Breitbart have drawn flak in recent weeks, with activists saying the website espouses racist and anti-Semitic views. A screen shot showing an advertisement for Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats was part of an online campaign to get marketers to abandon the site.

“We regularly work with our media-buying partners to ensure our ads do not appear on sites that aren’t aligned with our values as a company,” said Kris Charles, a spokeswoman for Kellogg, which also makes Frosted Flakes and Special K cereal. “We recently reviewed the list of sites where our ads can be placed and decided to discontinue advertising on Breitbart.com. We are working to remove our ads from that site.”

 Kellogg decided to “blacklist” Breitbart from the websites where its products appear after being contacted by customers who saw ads for Frosted Flakes and Frosted Mini Wheats, according to Charles.

AppNexus Inc., one of the biggest digital advertising services, barred Breitbart from using its ad-serving tools earlier this month because it felt the publisher violated its hate-speech rules.

AppNexus scrutinized Breitbart’s website after Bannon was given the White House post. The digital ad firm decided the publication had breached a policy against content that incites violence, according to a spokesman for the company. Kellogg declined to name the third-party company that places its digital ads.

Brand Exodus

Kellogg is the latest major brand to pull its online advertising from the news site. Other companies — including Allstate, Nest, EarthLink, Warby Parker and SoFi — have also blacklisted Breitbart from showing their ads, according to Digiday.

The site had 19.2 million unique monthly U.S. visitors in October, up from 12.9 million a year ago, according to ComScore Inc. Breitbart doesn’t rely on subscriptions, suggesting that advertising is a major source of revenue..."

"Donald Trump’s claim that illegal voting may have cost him a popular-vote majority has touched off outrage.
Widespread voter fraud, the media consensus suggests, isn’t possible.
But there is a real chance that significant numbers of noncitizens and others are indeed voting illegally, perhaps enough to make up the margin in some elections.
There’s no way of knowing for sure. 
The voter-registration process in almost all states runs on the honor system. 
The Obama administration has done everything it can to keep the status quo in place.
The Obama Justice Department has refused to file a single lawsuit to enforce the requirement of the National Voter Registration Act that states maintain the accuracy of their voter-registration lists.
This despite a 2012 study from the Pew Center on the States estimating that one out of every eight voter registrations is inaccurate, out-of-date or duplicate.
About 2.8 million people are registered in more than one state, according to the study, and 1.8 million registered voters are dead.
In most places it’s easy to vote under the names of such people with little risk of detection.
An undercover video released in October by the citizen-journalist group Project Veritas shows a Democratic election commissioner in New York City saying at a party, “I think there is a lot of voter fraud.”
A second video shows two Democratic operatives mulling how it would be possible to get away with voter fraud.
The Justice Department has opposed every effort by states—such as Kansas, Arizona, Alabama and Georgia—to verify the citizenship of those registering to vote.
This despite evidence that noncitizens are indeed registering and casting ballots.
In 2015 one Kansas county began offering voter registration at naturalization ceremonies.
Election officials soon discovered about a dozen new Americans who were already registered—and who had voted as noncitizens in multiple elections.
How common is this?
If only we knew.
Political correctness has squelched probes of noncitizen voting, so most cases are discovered accidentally instead of through a systematic review of election records..."

Surveillance video released by Philadelphia law enforcement appears to show that a city attorney was involved in an act of anti-Donald Trump vandalism Friday.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Division originally posted the video to YouTube to attempt to locate the perpetrators, who spray-painted the message “F— Trump” onto a grocery market wall. Police estimated that the damage is between $3000 and $10,000 “due to the composition of the stone used during the construction of the facade.”

What police likely did not expect is that one of the men– seen sipping from a glass of red wine and wearing a blazer– would turn out to be Assistant City Solicitor Duncan Lloyd.

Overview
While we end November on a warm note here in the eastern US, there are changes unfolding across the Northern Hemisphere that will likely bring a widespread very cold air mass into the US next week.
This cold air mass is first going to arrive in Alaska this upcoming weekend with some spots in that state plunging to 40 degrees below zero and way below normal for early December. 
After that, the cold air dives into the western US during the first half of next week and then it’ll likely blast into the eastern US late next week.
In fact, by the time Saturday,
December 10th rolls around, there may be colder-than-normal conditions all the way from Alaska to the southeastern US.  
Beyond that, it looks like this colder pattern will indeed have some staying power as we move deeper into the month of December.
...Following the passage of today’s frontal system, temperatures will cool down here on Thursday and then even colder air pushes in for the weekend with possible snow showers early next week.
We will then likely warm up considerably once again in the eastern US during the middle and latter part of next week ahead of the cold blast which will initially dive into the western US.
A major storm could actually form along the frontal boundary zone by the mid-to-late part of next week which would bring more rain here (at least initially) and perhaps significant accumulating snow to parts of the Upper Midwest.
By the end of next week, the Arctic front separating the warm air to the south and east and cold air to the north and west is likely to plow through the Mid-Atlantic region ushering in the cold air mass all the way down into the Southeast US.
Longer term, signs point to colder-than-normal conditions sticking around here as we progress through the month of December.

Euthanasia for psychiatric reasons increased from 0.1 percent to one percent of the total.
Dementia cases increased from 0.8 percent to two percent.
There have been several euthanasia cases for people with chronic depression.
One euthanized patient was a sex abuse victim.
Another was a victim of post-traumatic stress syndrome and personality disorder.
The last was the mother of a three-year-old child..."

From California to Illinois to Louisiana, stories are cropping up of hate crimes perpetrated by Trump supporters that later prove to be fabricated by the so-called “victim” of the crime.
Here is a roundup of the “hate crimes” identified as hoaxes so far, although there are other unsubstantiated stories that perhaps have not been identified as hoaxes because the perpetrator is more competent.

• Bisexual student receives homophobic notes

An openly bisexual senior at North Park University claimed she was the recipient of a homophobic note and hateful emails following Donald Trump’s win in the presidential election.
But the school president has reported the notes were “fabricated.”
Taylor Volk said she found a note taped to her door that read “Back to hell” and “#Trump” and included homophobic slurs following the election, as well as several anonymous emails with similar messages.
She reported the messages on her Facebook, and spoke to the press about the incidents. “I just want them to stop,” she told NBC News last week.
Volk also said she was confident the school would investigate.
Indeed, the university’s president announced Tuesday the notes were a hoax, and that Volk is no longer enrolled at the university.
