EPIC Meme Compares Democrats In The Past To Democrats Today | The Federalist Papers

EPIC Meme Compares Democrats In The Past To Democrats Today | The Federalist Papers:

"back in 1857, in a landmark decision, a Supreme Court packed with Democrats determined that not only was Dred Scott not a citizen, not only that he was property – but that black people might actually benefit from slavery.

It wasn’t until Republicans pushed through the 13th Amendment in 1865 that slavery was finally abolished in America. Democrats in the south tried to scuttle the new law with Jim Crow laws and other rules designed to keep blacks enslaved, but eventually that went down as well,"

Yes, CNN IS Fake News

Yes, CNN IS Fake News | Klavan On The Culture:
"This week's World's Smallest Violin Award goes to Fake News Network CNN — specifically to be shared between Fake Newsman Jake Tapper and Fake Newsman Chris Cuomo, both of whom took whiny umbrage at being called Fake News while purveying Fake News.
Cuomo, who really needs to eat more brain food, even possibly more brains, said that being called Fake News while purveying Fake News is like being called the N-word.
Image result for liberal media fake news...The problem is this: CNN — like the New York Times, like the network news departments at NBC and ABC and CBS — is virtually the definition of Fake News, a phrase made up by the left to attack Trump but which blew up in their faces like a trick cigar when it turned out everyone knows what liars they've been for the past sixteen years at least.
This is not even a question of the almost ceaseless series of mistakes, distortions and obfuscations that our leftist news media, in their hysterical rage against political reality, have committed since the election of Donald Trump to the presidency.
These errors and lies — which include cover-ups of Islamic extremism, lies about right-wing websites, and suspiciously incendiary "mistakes" about the White House — are being ably catalogued by the mighty and terrible John Nolte over at the Daily Wire.
No, this is a matter of the laughably slanted Fake News emphasis since at least the George W. Bush administration and through Obama's.
This Fake News emphasis made major scandals out of Bush's kerfuffles like the Valerie Plame affair; blamed him for what was never his fault, like intelligence failures in Iraq, gas prices, and the fact that a century of Democrat corruption in New Orleans turned a hurricane into a full-fledged disaster; and skewed stories to play down conservative truths like the danger of Islam, the unfairness of illegal immigration and the tragic results of decades of leftist attacks on white males..."

The hidden agendas of sustainability illusions

The hidden agendas of sustainability illusions:
"As President Trump downgrades the relevance of Obama era climate change and anti-fossil-fuel policies, many environmentalists are directing attention to sustainable development.”
Like “dangerous manmade climate change,” sustainability reflects poor understanding of basic energy, economic, resource extraction, and manufacturing principles – and a tendency to emphasize tautologies and theoretical models as an alternative to readily observable evidence in the Real World.
Image result for government control over your lifeIt also involves well-intended but ill-informed people being led by ill-intended but well-informed activists who use the concept to gain greater government control over people’s lives, livelihoods, and living standards.
The most common definition is that we may meet the needs of current generations only to the extent that doing so will not compromise the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Sustainability thus reflects the assertion that we are rapidly depleting finite resources, and must reduce current needs and wants so as to save raw materials for future generations.
At first blush, it sounds logical and even ethical.
But it requires impossible clairvoyance.
In 1887, when the Hearthstone House became the world’s first home lit via hydroelectric power, no one did or could foresee that electricity would dominate, enhance, and safeguard our lives in the myriad ways it does today.
Decades later, no one anticipated pure silica fiber optic cables replacing copper wires.
No one predicted tiny cellular phones with superb digital cameras and more computing power than a 1990 desktop computer or 3-D printing or thousands of wind turbines across our fruited plains – or cadmium, rare-earth metals, and other raw materials suddenly required to manufacture these technological wonders..."

| National Review:

"Because the word “fascist” is often thrown around loosely these days, as a general term of abuse, it is good that Liberal Fascism begins by discussing the real Fascism, introduced into Italy after the First World War by Benito Mussolini.

The Fascists were completely against individualism in general and especially against individualism in a free-market economy. Their agenda included minimum-wage laws, government restrictions on profit-making, progressive taxation of capital, and “rigidly secular” schools."

Carbon Taxes, Cow Farts, And Central Planning

Carbon Taxes, Cow Farts, And Central Planning | Zero Hedge:
"In a centrally planned economy decisions on what to produce, how to produce and for whom are taken primarily by the government.
The term is usually associated with communist economies.
...But not even Stalin or Roosevelt could come up with a rather exotic tool that can take central planning to a whole new level: carbon taxes.
The reason why it is so powerful is that virtually all market activities produce some type of greenhouse gas, meaning carbon and other equivalents that contribute to warming our planet. Here’s the emissions breakdown by sector in the US according to the Environmental Protection Agency (as of 2014):
Virtually all economic activities (as well as most daily personal affairs in any modern society) produce some type of emissions.
So by putting a cost on carbon any of them, from the most mundane to the most complex, would be impacted.
Entire industries could be impaired with the stroke of a pen.
Powerful stuff indeed..."

Black Lives Matter Leader Says White People Are 'Sub-Human' and Suffer From 'Genetic Defects'

Black Lives Matter Leader Says White People Are 'Sub-Human' and Suffer From 'Genetic Defects' | Heat Street:
Image result for black lives matter racist"A Black Lives Matter leader has come under fire after arguing on social media that white people are “sub-human” and suffer from “recessive genetic defects,” and musing about how the race could be wiped out.
In a Facebook post, Black Lives Matter Toronto offshoot co-founder Yusra Khogali went on a rant, arguing that black people are the superior race because white people posses “genetic defects” that make them lesser humans, according to the Toronto Sun.
“Whiteness is not humxness, in fact, white skin is sub-humxn,” she wrote.
“All phenotypes exist within the black family and white ppl are a genetic defect of blackness.”
She continued explaining her theory, claiming white people are lesser because “[they] have a higher concentration of enzyme inhibitors that suppress melanin production.
They are genetically deficient because melanin is present at the inception of life...”

If Trump doesn’t take on the alt-government, he will face four years of escalating sabotage, Adams says.

His recommendations to Trump include removing or transferring large numbers of the federal Senior Executive Service (SES) managers."

Schools and universities - a major battleground in America's 'Second Civil War'

Schools and universities - a major battleground in America's 'Second Civil War' - The College Fix:
The United States is engaged in a “Second Civil War,” argues Dennis Prager, noting “Americans are more divided morally, ideologically and politically today than they were during the Civil War.”
A major battleground in that war is schools and universities.
The Left aims to win over young people’s hearts and minds through its control of the education system, and now things are getting violent, with riots, and also “the taking over of college presidents’ offices,” he states.
Prager continues:
Image result for universities liberal biasHow are those of us who oppose left-wing nihilism — there is no other word for an ideology that holds Western civilization and America’s core values in contempt — supposed to unite with “educators” who instruct elementary school teachers to cease calling their students “boys” and “girls” because that implies gender identity? With English departments that don’t require reading Shakespeare in order to receive a degree in English? With those who regard virtually every war America has fought as imperialist and immoral? With those who regard the free market as a form of oppression? ...

There Are 66,719 Empty Mansions In Vancouver

There Are 66,719 Empty Mansions In Vancouver | Zero Hedge
"One year ago, when we first started discussing the Vancouver housing bubble, which as we first speculated - and was later confirmed - was the result of Chinese oligarch money-launderers parking "hot cash" in this offshore housing market (at least until a 15% property tax on foreign purchases made Seattle the new Vancouver), we said that Vancouver houses had become the de facto new Swiss bank account, and because of that the houses - once purchased - would remain a highly overprized, if vacant tribute to China's soaring capital outflows.
Now, courtesy of data by urban planner Andy Yan of Simon Fraser University’s City Program, this has been confirmed because according to the latest census numbers, as of 2016 there were 25,502 unoccupied or empty housing units in the City of Vancouver.
Expanding to include the entire metro area, Yan found that vacant or temporarily occupied dwellings have more than doubled since 2001 to 66,719 last year as neighborhoods have hollowed out.

A home sits empty, and awaiting demolition, at the corner of Parker Street

and Victoria Drive in Vancouver on Wednesday
Yan compared census data for Vancouver over several decades to see how the percentage of “unoccupied” units or ones “occupied solely by foreign residents and/or temporary present residents on Census Day” has doubled during that time the Vancouver Sun reported
In 1986, it was 4%. By 2016, it had doubled to 8.2%..."

Geist pointed out that Americans all over the country display acts of bravery every day.

“Where was that courage among the politicians that had the power to make the difference during those 13 hours in Benghazi?” he concluded."

DAVID ROSE: How can we trust global warming scientists if they keep twisting the truth
They were duped – and so were we.
Image result for global warming liesThat was the conclusion of last week’s damning revelation that world leaders signed the Paris Agreement on climate change under the sway of unverified and questionable data.
A landmark scientific paper –the one that caused a sensation by claiming there has been NO slowdown in global warming since 2000 – was critically flawed.
And thanks to the bravery of a whistleblower, we now know that for a fact.
The response has been extraordinary, with The Mail on Sunday’s disclosures reverberating around the world. There have been nearly 150,000 Facebook ‘shares’ since last Sunday, an astonishing number for a technically detailed piece, and extensive coverage in media at home and abroad..."
