And why a Donald Trump was elected President.
In January of 2009 the national debt of the United States stood at $10.6 Trillion, today it is $20.0 Trillion -- an increase of 90% (and projected to reach $29.0 Trillion by 2026).
On the other hand, despite the global recession of 2008-09, the debt of all the rest of nations on earth expanded by only 54% since 2008. Meanwhile the nation’s Gross Domestic Product grew by an anemic average of 1.4% per year (inflation adjusted) since 2008 the worst 8-year performance since the Great Depression.
Yet Obama was given an eight-year pass, as the media chose to not question the administration’s blaming George W. Bush for all the economic ills of Obama’s two terms.
Further, they willfully ignored or glossed over why the economy was not growing, while nearly every year of the Obama presidency claiming that the economy was on an significant upswing, and that mountainous budget deficits were not a concern.
In essence they assumed the American people were gullible dupes when many were not..."

In February of 2016, Alexandra Mezher was stabbed to death by a Somalian asylum seeker named Youssaf Nuur in a home for underage migrants. A memorial for Ms. Mezher was cancelled by local politicians for fears it might “offend” the other migrants.

Nuur turned out to have been lying about his age and was tried as an adult and later sentenced to psychiatric care after a doctor’s evaluation.

2. Multiple hand grenade attacks in Swedish no-go zones.

Sweden likes to do things a little differently and so do its criminals, which is why hand grenade attacks on police and rival gangs are not uncommon. While the heavily migrant-populated city of Malmo is best known for its grenade attacks, the Swedish capital of Stockholm has seen at least one as well.

As recently as last August an eight-year-old British boy was killed by a hand grenade while visiting family in Gothenburg. Sweden even had to redeploy bomb disposal teams from Iraq back to Sweden, due to the high number of attacks..."

President Trump made a comment during his rally on Saturday about Sweden, and something he noted on Friday, the evening prior.  President Trump was talking about the “refugee crisis” and his strict immigration proposals called “extreme vetting”.

“We’ve got to keep our country safe,” he said. “You look at what’s happening in Germany. You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what’s happening in Brussels. You look at what’s happening all over the world. Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris.” –LINK–

President Trump’s reference was to an interview between Fox News Tucker Carlson and documentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz that took place on Friday night, the night before the rally.

The documentary is about the rape crisis in Sweden resulting from massive economic migration, aka “refugees”.  There is even a horrible term for the current reality for women in Sweden called “rapeugees”.

Horowitz appeared on Tucker’s show to discuss his latest documentary film of the issue titled “Stockholm Syndrome“- Rape and violence exploding across Sweden due it’s immigration policies.  Here is an excerpt of the documentary:

I am unsure who first came up with the idea of taxing robots, but the proposal has been embraced by academia, socialists, and in general, the radical Left.

What does Gates want to do with the money collected? 
Here’s the answer: Flush it down the toilet.

In a Quartz interview, Bill Gates proposes The robot that takes your job should pay taxes.

Robots are taking human jobs. But Bill Gates believes that governments should tax companies’ use of them, as a way to at least temporarily slow the spread of automation and to fund other types of employment...

...What Gates is Saying

1. Too much efficiency is a bad thing.
2. Money that buys more goods and services is a bad thing.
3. The government knows better what to do with your money than you do.

Ultimately, consumers will foot 100% of any robot tax.

More accurately, consumers will foot far more than 100% of any robot tax collection because government bureaucrats will waste at least 50% of the amount collected while putting funds deployed in wrong areas or by overpaying contracts awarded.

Convoluted Thinking

Curiously, Gates argues we need to tax efficiency to the point it’s no longer efficient or the efficiency will die on its own accord because “automation won’t be allowed to thrive if the public resists it.”
