Rewind Button

By Tammy Derouin

Struggles, challenges and disappointments are part of life. If you knew what was coming, would you even get out of bed? Knowing the future would probably keep everyone in the nursery with their eyes closed, sucking their thumbs while waiting to be cuddled.  In today's oversensitive world, sheltering individuals from reality or allowing them to give up because it's difficult or stressful, is turning the younger generations into state approved weaklings. Our schools, universities and cuddling “experts” are an extension of the preschool nursery.

Image result for rewind buttonSo called experts will come right out and tell you they know what is best.  Just because they've rearranged some letters in the alphabet (and if you're a Kenny Chesney fan, you know where I'm headed) and stuck them behind their name, doesn't mean they have god-like powers. Although, if they can convince you that they are superior, the power shifts in their favor. Fancy talk doesn't impress me. Gathering facts and seeking the truth is impressive. Verbal attacks only hurt if you allow them to hurt and opinions are like bellybuttons. Yeah, I said bellybuttons, everybody has one.

Inevitably, during difficult times, the thought of an alternate reality will enter your mind.  What would life have been like if different decisions would have been made? That is truly a subjective thought because you create an experience in your mind based on feelings and opinions, not facts.  The path not taken would have had its own challenges, heartaches and disappointments. The outcome will never be known. However, I see nothing wrong with a temporary "what if" vacation in the mind when dealing with the difficulties of reality. Where's the rewind button when you need it?

Facts are facts. Liberals and biased individuals have a difficult time with facts......

Chelsea Manning To Be Released From Prison Next Week! | The Daily Sheeple
"Amidst horrible speculations that we are spiraling ever closer to World War 3, there’s a bit of good news.
Whistleblower Chelsea Manning will be released from prison next week.
Image result for obama chelsea manning pardonIn one of his final moves as president, Barack Obama commuted Manning’s sentence.
...She was sentenced to 35 years in prison after being convicted in 2013 of stealing 750,000 pages of documents and videos from the US government and military.
At the time, she was a male, and her name was Bradley Manning.
After taking the government’s coveted documents, Manning leaked them to the whistleblower website WikiLeaks.
The government and those on the political right were outraged that a person dared show proof of military crimes committed with American tax dollars, and labeled her a traitor while making fun of her for her transgenderism (gender dysmorphia)..."

Prof: House GOP ‘should be lined up and shot’:
  • Professor John Griffin even clarified that his words were "not hyperbole," explaining that "blood is on their hands" for passing an Obamacare-replacement bill.
  • The professor later apologized for his language after being contacted by Campus Reform, conceding it was "inappropriate."
...An Art Institute of Washington professor recently declared that House Republicans “should be lined up and shot” for their passage of an Obamacare-replacement bill.
In another post made just two minutes after his initial comments, Griffin blasted Republican lawmakers as “a fucking joke,” then turning his attention to their voters, whom he insulted as running “the gamut from monstrous to ignorant.”

Why Do Gas Station Prices Constantly Change? Blame the Algorithm - Slashdot

Why Do Gas Station Prices Constantly Change? Blame the Algorithm - Slashdot
"Retailers are using artificial-intelligence software to set optimal prices, testing textbook theories of competition, says a WSJ report.
An anonymous reader shares the article:
One recent afternoon at a Shell-branded station on the outskirts of this Dutch city, the price of a gallon of unleaded gas started ticking higher, rising more than three-and-a-half cents by closing time.
Image result for gas pricesA little later, a competing station three miles down the road raised its price about the same amount. The two stations are among thousands of companies that use artificial-intelligence software to set prices
In doing so, they are testing a fundamental precept of the market economy. [...]
Advances in AI are allowing retail and wholesale firms to move beyond 'dynamic pricing' software, which has for years helped set prices for fast-moving goods, like airline tickets or flat-screen televisions.
Older pricing software often used simple rules, such as always keeping prices lower than a competitor.
These new systems crunch mountains of historical and real-time data to predict how customers and competitors will react to any price change under different scenarios, giving them an almost superhuman insight into market dynamics.
Programmed to meet a certain goal -- such as boosting sales -- the algorithms constantly update tactics after learning from experience.
Even as the rise of algorithms determining prices poses a challenge to anti-trust law, authorities in the United States and Europe haven't opened probes or accused anyone of impropriety for using AI to set prices."

Higher Education “Gender Gap” Favors Women -- Feminization of Everything Fails Boys | National Review

Higher Education “Gender Gap” Favors Women -- Feminization of Everything Fails Boys | National Review:
"As our society unlearns masculinity and feminizes every stage of male life, boys pay a steep price. Let me share with you two troubling — and, I believe, closely linked — news reports.

  • The first, from this weekend, comes courtesy of the American Enterprise Institute’s Mark Perry.

In one chart, he highlights the dramatic and growing gender gap in higher education.
In short, women are dominating:

  • The second comes from The Atlantic’s Emma Green.

Image result for Feminization of boysDetailing the findings of a survey conducted by her magazine and the Public Religion Research Institute, she notes that 61 percent of white working-class men view college as a “risky gamble.”
...“The survey shows that many white working-class Americans, especially men, no longer see that path available to them. . . .
It is this sense of economic fatalism, more than just economic hardship, that was the decisive factor in support for Trump among white working-class voters.”
Make no mistake, if these numbers showed an equivalent (and increasing) educational gender gap running in the opposite direction, the feminist Left would declare a cultural emergency.
Indeed, it has declared a cultural emergency in spite of the dominant educational performance of women.
As Perry notes, our colleges are full of “women’s centers” and “gender equity” initiatives that are dedicated exclusively to female success (or almost exclusively; some non-gender-binary folks get gender-equity aid as well).

  • When will there stop being a crisis for women on campus?
  • When they reach two-thirds of the higher-education population?
  • When three out of every four college grads are women?
  • Our society is unlearning masculinity, it’s feminizing every stage of male life, and boys are paying a steep price..."

The Final Top Tier Intel Black Hat Leaker Removed… | The Last Refuge

The Final Top Tier Intel Black Hat Leaker Removed… | The Last Refuge
"It was eight months ago when we first began discussing the “White Hats” -vs- “Black Hats” within the intelligence apparatus.
It was obvious there was a battle going on within the  ‘intelligence’ and ‘justice’ systems per se’ between two distinct groups, mostly centered around political leaks within the IC:
  • A Black Hat: is a self-serving entity, person or organization, that is corrupt, deceitful, manipulative, exploitative, and working for their own power and interests.  A bad entity.
  • A White Hat: is an altruistic entity, person or organization, that is foundationally grounded on truth, honesty, and clear definitions of right and moral wrong.  A good entity.
The four primary agencies who drove the media narrative were: CIA, DNI, FBI and NSA.
...Initially, last year, FBI Director James Comey was challenging to gauge.
However, it didn’t take long to discover his political corruption, and see his political agenda was all about himself – not the application of law.
Then on March 20th the mask fully came off.
Comey was a solid Black Hat
The March 20th appearance before congress was the final straw in showcasing just how politically corrupt James Comey was.
In this same March 20th hearing Comey stated there was an investigation into intelligence leaks to the media.
However, on May 8th the source of the reports that were eventually leaked to the media, acting AG Sally Yates, said she was never questioned by the FBI..."

A nation of moronic, wimpy, thugs-----School SUSPENDS student for 'liking' Instagram picture OF AN AIR GUN (VIDEO) ⋆ Silence is Consent

School SUSPENDS student for 'liking' Instagram picture OF AN AIR GUN (VIDEO) ⋆ Silence is Consent:

airsoft gun suspensionZachary Bowlin attends Edgewood Middle School in Trenton, Ohio. Last week, while browsing on Instagram, he “liked” a photo of an airsoft pistol.
The caption of the photo said “Ready.”
The next day at school, he was treated like a criminal and told he was suspended.
The official reason was “liking a post on social media that indicated potential school violence.”
Airsoft guns are essentially the next generation of BB guns.
With the exception of the orange-colored tip, the air guns look like many real guns, but use air to shoot plastic pellets.
However, they sometimes use CO2 cartridges and batteries to shoot pellets at high rates of speed.
‘I liked it, scrolling down Instagram at night about 7, 8 o’clock I liked it,’ Zachary told WXIX. ‘The next morning they called me down (to the office) patted me down and checked me for weapons.’
He told WCMH, ‘I don’t think I did anything wrong… Then, they told me I was getting expelled or suspended or whatever.’
The middle school student was sent home with a note from officials at the school to notify his parents about the cause of his suspension Thursday.
The letter said Zachary was suspended for ‘liking a post on social media that indicated potential school violence...’

In March we had the BBC trumpeting another study that blamed vanishing Arctic ice as the cause of weather which led to the worst-ever smog in Beijing, warning that it “could even threaten the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022”."
