Productivity in [U.S.] construction has contracted at a 1% annual rate since 1995, according to a study by McKinsey Global Institute, the research arm of McKinsey & Co., due in part to reliance on unskilled workers and in part to government red tape.
Joel Shine, chief executive of builder Woodside Homes Inc., visited Kyoto, Japan, to see how firms there use automation in home construction. 
He thinks it would take at least a decade for the innovations to become mainstream in the U.S., in part because they would require building-code changes."

Our individual history defines us.  Each person has the opportunity to make the best or worst out of their experiences. Benjamin Franklin said, "The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself."  Happiness is not a guarantee and it's certainly not the government's responsibility to make you happy.  It's the responsibility of the government to protect the rights, safety and security of the American people.

Happiness is defined by each individual.  What makes you happy may not make me happy.  There isn't a secret formula, it's trial and error.  Regardless of what liberals promise, happiness is not government issued. Objects, benefits and made up rights, such as heath care and entitlements, act as the sugar the liberals use to bait and hook. Once the government establishes dependency, they have a controllable, loyal following. If we were to fast forward into the possible future, it would be very bleak.

Government already has too much control.  I read an article this past week where it was implied that it would be so much simpler if they (the government) just told us what to eat.  Do you think it would stop there?  They've already forced mandatory health care on us or suffer a penalty.  What else do you think the government would like to control to make life easier for them? 

Have you noticed that so many people are at their happiest when they are miserable? We all know people that aren't happy unless they are complaining.......

"The lawyer representing the State of Hawaii in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit today has stated the collection of data with regards honor killings should be removed from President Trump’s Executive Order in order to “pass constitutional muster”.
In his arguments, Neal Katyal stated today that the collection of such data as outlined by the Executive Order 13780 contravenes the Establishment Clause, in the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…”.
In doing so, Katyal appears to be making the case that honor killings — murder committed in the name of restoring a family’s dignity following discouraged behaviour within fundamentalist homes — is in itself Islamic.
It is an argument often made by anti-Islam campaigners, but to hear such arguments made by the political left might surprise some, especially when honor killings are also found — though to a lesser extent — in other religious groups like the Sikh community."

I spent the night in a Reykjavik hospital.
What had happened quickly became clear, and was soon confirmed by a hospital test: one of these local Icelanders who had approached me (probably the one who said he was a big fan, as he was much closer to me than the “F**k you” guy) had dropped drugs into my drink..."

While Manning's court martial is under review, she will be on active duty, meaning that she is eligible for health care and benefits.  
Manning's 35-year sentence was commuted by President Obama during the final days of his presidency.
“Pvt. Manning is statutorily entitled to medical care while on excess leave in an active-duty status, pending final appellate review,” said Army spokesperson Dave Foster.
Just like all soldiers, Manning will be assigned to an Army post, but it remains unclear to whom she will report.
