Catholic university language guide suggests not using terms ‘husband/wife’ - The College Fix:
"A gender inclusive language “resource” posted on the University of Dayton’s website recommends avoiding the terms “husband/wife” and instead use the words “spouse, partner, significant other.”
That suggestion is one of about two dozen included on the resource webpage, located in the campus Women’s Center’s section of the Catholic university’s website.
The inclusive language webpage recommends against using words and terms that include “man” and “women” and suggests individuals use gender neutral terms as an alternative.
It also recommends using custodial staff instead of maintenance man or cleaning lady, representative or legislator rather than congressman or congresswoman, and postal worker/mail carrier instead of the term mailman...

WEDNESDAY, Jan. 31, 2018 -- "Rent-a-drip" IV lounges are popping up across the country, promising speedy recovery for hangover sufferers, jet lag victims and others seeking an intravenous solution to modern dilemmas.
But experts say these lounges are at best a waste of money and at worst potentially dangerous.
"The whole thing is really nonsense," said Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, a professor of medicine with the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. 
"It's just catering to people's sense that they're taking their health into their own hands."
The IV lounge craze has been spurred on by reports of use by the likes of Rihanna, Cindy Crawford and Simon Cowell. B-list celebrity Lisa Rinnaembraced IV treatment on her reality show, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," with both her and her daughters receiving an intravenous drip in her own living room.
People who go to an IV lounge are offered a variety of different intravenous fluids containing a blend of saline, vitamins and medicines targeted to their needs. 
For example, a hangover IV bag also typically contains anti-nausea medications.
Treatment costs range from roughly $80 to $875. 
The practice is generally unregulated, raising concern among the medical community that fast-buck operators could hurt people through unsafe practices, Goldfarb said.
IV lounges are remarkably adaptive to whatever is happening in the national moment. 
Right now, many lounges are offering drips containing "immunity-boosting" vitamins to flu victims during this severe influenza season..."

FOX News contributor Monica Crowley appeared on FOX Business early Thursday morning and said this is the first of several memos to be released. Not only are there several more memos, Crowley said her sources are saying “there is worse coming down the pike”.

“This memo is about origination,”Crowley began.

“From what I’m hearing from my sources, this is about how this FISA warrant came into being and why and how it got approved and why and how it was used,” Crowley continued.

Monica Crowley then dropped a bombshell…

“I also understand from some very good sources that this is the first of several memos so as bad as this memo might be, my understanding is there is worse coming down the pike.”

"Most of us are eagerly awaiting the release of the House Intelligence Committee’s memo on abuse of the FBI by the Obama administration. 
It should happen in the next couple of days. 
Meanwhile, the Bureau is worried, as always, about its public image. 
The Associated Pressheadlines: “FBI clashes with Trump, has ‘grave concerns’ on Russia memo.” 
I’m so old, I can remember when liberals were in favor of revealing corruption in institutions like the FBI. 
Those days, of course, are long gone.

In a remarkably public clash of wills with the White House, the FBI declared Wednesday it has “grave concerns” about the accuracy of a classified memo on the Russia election investigation that President Donald Trump wants released.

Yeah, well, you know what? 
I have grave concerns about the politicization of the Department of Justice and the FBI under the Obama administration, which I have been writing about since 2010.

“As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy,” the FBI said.

If there are “material omissions of fact,” the Democrats’ responsive memo no doubt will reveal them. 

Good: let’s lay the cards on the table. 

The relevant fact here is that the FBI is no longer claiming that there is a national security problem with releasing the memo, only that it will put the FBI in a bad light..."
