Paul Krugman Says Markets Will ‘Never’ Recover From Trump; Dow Hits Record High | The Daily Caller:
"New York Times opinion writer and economist Paul Krugman predicted early Wednesday morning that the stock market will “never” recover from Donald Trump’s presidential victory, only to be proven spectacularly wrong in less than a day.
Instead of collapsing, the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged to an all-time high shortly before the closing bell.
Futures markets imploded Tuesday night as soon as it became apparent Trump was likely to win.
At their nadir, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average had dropped 750 points.
At that point, Krugman chose to release a blog post in which he predicted these jitters represented a new permanent reality in the U.S. economy.
“It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?” Krugman said in his post.
 “If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never.”
“We are very probably looking at a global recession, with no end in sight,” he added.
“I suppose we could get lucky somehow. But on economics, as on everything else, a terrible thing has just happened.”...

"Every time the military changes their fitness requirements lately it leads to controversy. 
This is mostly because so many of the recent changes created at least the suggestion that accommodations were being made for female recruits, or perhaps even males who couldn’t meet the traditional standards. 
...Rather than doing two minutes of push-ups and two minutes of sit-ups, new exercises are being added which supposedly better simulate physical demands encountered on the battlefield. (Washington Times)

The Army Physical Fitness Test that soldiers have known since the 1980s — 2 minutes of pushups; 2 minutes of situps; the 2-mile run — will be retired before the end of the decade. While the 2-mile run will still conclude the assessment, five other events seen as a better predictor of successfully completing combat tasks have been added.

“The Army Combat Fitness Test [ACFT] will ignite a generational, cultural change in Army fitness and become a cornerstone of individual Soldier combat readiness,” Maj. Gen. Malcolm Frost, commander of the Army’s Center of Initial Military Training, said Monday. “It will reduce attrition and it will reduce musculoskeletal injuries and actually save, in the long run, the Army a heck of a lot of money.”

So they’re doing away with the sit-ups. 
The standard push-ups are gone, but they’re being replaced with a different style of push-up..."

The fantasy shows, aka the news, which the Left has been producing for some time, never cease to amaze me. To claim that the failed policies of past administrations, such as immigration, were enacted by President Trump is not only sickening, it's reckless and an intentional attempt to change history. It's the job of Congress to make the laws and it's the responsibility of the President to enforce the laws. Anything less would be negligent. The President is doing his job. We cannot say the same thing for his destructive predecessor who chose to only enforce the law if it suited his agenda. Have we forgotten the pen and phone threat and his endless desire to act as a supreme dictator? Congress makes the laws!

We have lost a very important line of defense, the media. They once used their God-given talents and skills to flush out and expose criminals in our society and in government. Now, they protect individuals who should be investigated and create distractions or produce false information to manipulate the American people. This didn't happen overnight. How many years of manipulation were involved to ruin this very important line of defense? How many biscuits, bones and chew toys did it take to lure them within arm's reach of the fence? When did they feel cozy enough to allow their ears to be scratched? I can only imagine the visions of hydrants and squirrels which were dancing in their heads as they were being lured into darkness. Instead of barking and sounding the alarm, they opted to betray the American people......
