According to the Daily Caller, “FBI agents raided the home of a recognized Department of Justice whistleblower who privately delivered documents pertaining to the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One to a government watchdog, according to the whistleblower’s attorney.
“The Justice Department’s inspector general was informed that the documents show that federal officials failed to investigate potential criminal activity regarding former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom, the Russian company that purchased Uranium One.”
Basically what is happening here is it looks like the Department of Justice is doing everything it can to bury this investigation into the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One.

A  high-school teacher may have evacuated his entire class because one student was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, according to a video that was posted on YouTube.
The video, which was originally posted in an article on The Daily Caller, features audio of what is allegedly the teacher and the student arguing, reportedly recorded by one of the students in the classroom.
“You’re putting me in a position where I’m either going to gather everybody up and go to another classroom and you can remain here like an a******, or you can take your hat off, or you can go talk to an AP about it,” a voice, reportedly the teacher, can be heard saying.
“Now, what do you want to do?”
“I can’t sit here and learn?” another voice, reportedly belonging to the student who was wearing the hat, asks.
“Not with that hat on,” the teacher allegedly responds.
The student allegedly pushed back, saying: “Don’t we have a freedom to expression and a freedom to education?” to which the teacher allegedly replies, “I don’t care,” and tells the student to choose..."

"I was saddened and completely discouraged upon reading a newspaper report that a black woman found a noose hanging above her workstation at a local company. How could such horrible people still exist in our society and why would they so blatantly seek to frighten another human being in a throwback to one of the worst periods in American history? While doing some reading earlier today, I came across another side of the story. While I’m sure the case is being thoroughly investigated by said company, I thought I’d share this with you because of the importance of making sure all sides are heard and because I tire of the victim mentality that seems to thrive in our society. I’ve redacted the writer’s name because I don’t know the parties personally.

This wasn't even about her. 

• The people who did it aren't even aware of America's past with black people and nooses, they were throwing pens through it because they were bored. 
• This is not the first time she's made a big deal out of nothing and claimed it to be about race. 

No one here even had any issues with her lol the only problems she has had are with the supervisors and bosses for texting instead of working.

Okay but I work with her and this happened less than 24 hours ago and the people who put it up don't even know she exists and are from a different shift. I literally just got pulled into the office about it. The people who made it are Hispanic people who had to be explained what a noose even was.

• Less than two months ago she almost quit because we work with food and a quality control BOSS wrote her up for being on her phone and letting food fly off the belt for over 5 minutes and she went around telling everyone she didnt feel safe here and people were out to get her.

Oh and it wasnt above her spot. We all rotate and the line gets moved around depending on what product we run and where it was hung didnt have a spot last night on either product that we ran.

And for the biggest thing if no one knows, this object was no bigger than maybe a bracelet, someone would have trouble putting their fore arm through it, let alone their head or neck.

• She says that she was so upset that she stayed in her car on break, but she does that every single day. She has sat in the breakroom on breaks one time (maybe 2) in the past year.

I was one of the people who found it, along with an operator and the lady in the article. She makes it sound like it was in attack to her but it was all blown out of proportion. I hope she got her 15 minutes of fame and interrupted progress in a real cause just to get attention.”

My Puzzlement Over Climate Change Damage Estimates in New National Climate Assessment - Hit & Run : Reason.com: 
"Implausible worst-case scenarios do not further the debate over reasonable policies for addressing climate change.

"Mass deaths and mayhem: National Climate Assessment's most shocking warnings," blares the headline at CBS News. 

The story, which discusses the government's Fourth National Climate Assessment (NCA4), says that the document predicts "an estimated loss of up to 10 percent gross domestic product by 2100." 
This same estimate was cited by many other news outlets. 
For example, the first paragraph of The New York Times' article on the NCA4 says that "if significant steps are not taken to rein in global warming, the damage will knock as much as 10 percent off the size of the American economy by century's end."
Puzzled by this reporting, I did a rough calculation in my initial reporting on the NCA4. 
Today's $20 trillion GDP, growing at a 3 percent rate, would rise to $226 trillion by 2100. 
With climate change, it would instead rise to only $203 trillion. 
Americans living at the end of this century would be about 10 times richer on average than we are now, albeit in a much warmer world.
So where did those estimates come from? 
Basically from a worst-case scenario of temperature increase called in climate-speak Representative Concentration Pathway 8.5 (RCP 8.5). RCPs are four different greenhouse gas concentration trajectories used by climate modelers and adopted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change for its fifth Assessment Report in 2014. imate change..."

"The Rev. Al Sharpton has found an eager buyer for the rights to his life story — his own charity.
The National Action Network agreed to pay the activist preacher $531,000 for his “life story rights for a 10-year period,” according to the non-profit’s latest tax filing, which was obtained by The Post.
NAN can apparently turn around and sell those rights to Hollywood or other takers at a profit, but neither the reverend nor the charity would identify what producers are waiting for such Sharpton content.
The document does not indicate when Sharpton, who is president of NAN, gets the cash, which is above and beyond the $244,661 he already pulled down in compensation from the group in 2017.
Sharpton also wouldn’t say when the cash would come in.
