Reps. Steve Scalise and Ann Wagner: Critical abortion bill needs only a little Dem support for a House vote | Fox News:

Image result for flickr commons images nancy pelosiThe Born Alive Act is not only common sense, it has strong bipartisan support among voters: 86 percent of Republicans, 70 percent of Democrats, and 75 percent of independents support this legislation. The effort to protect newborns transcends the abortion debate. No matter how you feel about abortion, we should be able to agree that when a baby is born alive and outside the womb, we should do everything in our power to keep it alive. We cannot discriminate between children who are wanted and children who are unwanted; all newborns deserve the opportunity to lead a long, happy life.

Increasing Electricity System Fragility in the UK | Watts Up With That?
"The UK’s electricity network is likely to become significantly weaker within five years... and also make it more likely that asynchronous sources of electricity such as wind, solar and High Voltage Direct Current interconnectors will disconnect during a fault.
Ironically, Short Circuit Levels are falling because of a rising input from asynchronous sources.
A remedy for this problem is unlikely to be cheap.
Who will pay?
...The strength of the system must be continually monitored to ensure that it will be stable under stress, a precaution that would be necessary at any time, but has particular relevance in the UK at present due to the rapid and dramatic changes in the electricity supply industry being driven by climate change policy...

Former Sen. Hassan Aide Stole Gigabytes Of ‘High Value’ Data | The Daily Caller
"A former IT aide to New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan mounted an “extraordinarily extensive data-theft scheme” against the office, the culprit’s plea agreement states.
...The theft occurred after Cosko was fired from Hassan’s office in May 2018 for undisclosed reasons, then hired by Democratic Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, giving him access to the House computer network.
...In October 2018, he used information stolen from Hassan’s office to doxx Republican Utah Sens. Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee as well as Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham.
...Cosko, a supporter of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, was born to a California family with ties to Democratic California Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
Republicans suggested the California Democrat leaked a letter soon before Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing that alleged the Supreme Court justice sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford.
The suspect’s father, Greg Cosko, is the CEO of Hathaway Dinwiddie, a construction company that built a university building named after Feinstein’s husband
He serves on the board of San Francisco State University alongside Willie Brown, the California politician who said he helped make the career of Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris, with an illicit affair.
As former chairman of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Greg Cosko hobnobbed with then-House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Feinstein and others.
The elder Cosko’s adult son appears to have made inroads in Washington via an internship with Feinstein..."

The High School Kids from Kansas Who Found the Female SchindlerThe High School Kids from Kansas Who Found the Female Schindler | Intellectual Takeout
"...Kansas students to achieve acclaim for uncovering a story that the rest of the world missed.
That honor goes to a handful of girls from Uniontown High School who introduced the world to Irena Sendler, the female version of Oskar Schindler, of Schindler’s List fame.
According to a mini-documentary produced by the Kansas State University College of Education, Irena Sendler was a Polish nurse who worked in the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II.
Through her work in the Polish Resistance, she saved 2,500 Jewish children from the hands of the Nazis.
She was eventually caught, tried, and sentenced to death for her efforts, but managed to escape due to a bribed executioner.
Following the war, she used carefully preserved records to return the children she had rescued to their surviving relatives.
As student Megan Felt explains, Sendler’s name intrigued the girls in her history project group.
Yet despite extensive searching, they were unable to find out much about her, due to Communist suppression of the story after the war.
Perseverance and extensive research finally led them to the discovery that Sendler was still alive and living in Poland..."

Obstruction of justice was integral to the entire operation of the Obama administration. Whenever a scandal erupted, the kneejerk reaction by Obama and his cronies was to cover-up and obstruct.  Below are the top five examples of investigations obstructed by the Obama administration.

Michigan State Students Filed Bias Incident Reports Over Some Really Petty Things - Hit & Run : Reason.com:

  • "A student complains twice in three days that someone posted a cartoon making fun of liberals in a residence hall and it offended her."

"A Michigan State University student filed a bias response complaint because she read an offensive comment on an Instagram post: Someone had asked whether the women depicted in the photo looked "Indian."
Another student reported his roommate for watching a Ben Shapiro video on his laptop.
"Ben Shapiro is known for his inflammatory speech that criticizes and attacks the African American community," the student wrote in his complaint.
"I thought hate had no place on MSU's campus yet MSU has roomed me with someone who supports hate speach [sic]."
One student filed a report because they overheard someone misgender Caitlyn Jenner, referring to her by her former name, Bruce Jenner.
A Christian student was told that conducting a door-to-door survey of other dormitory residents was making people uncomfortable, and so she filed a bias incident report as well, complaining that she had been humiliated by this criticism.
These were just a few of the reported incidents highlighted in an investigation by The College Fix, which obtained a list of bias incidents filed in the fall 2018 semester..."

Rush Limbaugh: Why was Mueller investigation launched? - WND

Rush Limbaugh: Why was Mueller investigation launched? - WND:

Image result for flickr commons images obamaTalk-radio host Rush Limbaugh noted Thursday that Democrats are insisting Attorney General William Barr is covering up derogatory information about Trump.
He pointed to Simon’s column, which reasons that “40 FBI agents, 19 anti-Trump, pro-Hillary lawyers, $30 million produce 400 pages alleging no collusion and no obstruction.”
“The next obvious question, what the hell was this, then? Why was this done? Why was this investigation launched? Who did that, why, and when? You mean, after 40 FBI agents, over two years, $30 million, 19 Hillary-loving lawyers on Mueller’s team, and nothing?” said Limbaugh.
“So his point is the obvious question’s gonna be, why the hell did this happen? And that means that people are gonna demand to know why it happened, which will then facilitate and launch an investigation to answer those questions.
“He believes that to get to the bottom of this, which people are then gonna demand, we’re gonna have to go to the Obama administration,” Limbaugh said.

Add in speaking fees and book sales and it’s clear that she is in at least the top 5% of American incomes.
On Wednesday, she wanted to show the world how virtuous of a person she is, so she Tweeted this:
So here is this professor, with a Ph.D. in Sociology, shaming a road crew worker who she probably makes four times the salary of and most likely only has a high school diploma and on the job training, about a sign that he did not create and is required by law to put up.I have a couple of thoughts on the matter..."

Something’s got to give.

A national tragedy-----Why Millennials Are So Much Lonelier than the Greatest Generation

Why Millennials Are So Much Lonelier than the Greatest Generation:
  • A new study found that young people are far likelier to report being lonely and in poor health than the elderly.
"USA Today recently reported on a study commissioned by the Cigna insurance company which examined the impact of loneliness on health.
See the source imageThe results are striking: young people are much more likely to report being lonely and in bad health than the elderly.
...The study asserts that loneliness has the same effect on health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.
...What then is the difference between my parents’ generation and the Baby Boomers and the Millennials?
The Boomers and their children are far less likely to be joiners.
In his famous study “Bowling Alone,” Robert Putnam shows  that membership in civic organizations like the Kiwanis or Rotary declined by 58 percent between 1975 and 2000.
There are multiple causes.
...Although I am not sure that I can fully explain the causes of Millennial loneliness, I am certain that the rise of divorce plays an important role.
...Their parents’ divorce probably destroyed whatever social network they had.
My parents provided me with good role models.
I am afraid that many 20 somethings never learned any of this.
Not only are they lonely.
They don’t know what to do about it."

The petition’s signers described the appointment of Coles, a black grandmother, as a “weaponization of the language of diversity.”

Child Brides in Africa Are Advertised on Facebook and Sold to Old Men:
  • In one Nigerian community, illiterate fathers have learned from their sons that Facebook is a good way to let buyers know their daughters are for sale.
OBANLIKU, Nigeria—Monica, 16, is one of two sisters sold as wives to men who found their photographs on their father's Facebook page and contacted him.
She and her 14-year-old younger sister...fell victims to a culture which subjects little girls, some as young as 10, to de facto slavery through a tradition called “money marriage.”
Like hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of girls from the Becheve clan who are victims of money marriages, Monica and her sister were sold without their consent.
Their father wanted to clear the debt he owed to a distant relative.
“My father knew nothing about Facebook until my elder brother bought him a smartphone and convinced him to join Facebook and post our photographs whenever he likes,” Monica told The Daily Beast.
...In effect, they use Facebook, quite literally, as a face book..."

Worst than anyone can imagine!-----Ohio Could Become the Next State to Hand Its Electoral Votes Over to California and New York | Trending

Ohio Could Become the Next State to Hand Its Electoral Votes Over to California and New York | Trending:
"Ohio could decide to hand its votes in presidential elections over to the Democratic Party if a proposed ballot measure passes in November.
If approved, the proposed constitutional amendment would award Ohio's electoral votes to the candidate who wins the national popular vote.
The language of the ballot measure would enshrine the following in the state's constitution.
See the source image"It is the expressed will of the People that every vote for President be valued equally and that the candidate who wins the most votes nationally becomes President.
Therefore, the General Assembly shall within sixty days of the adoption of this amendment take all necessary legislative action so that the winner of the national popular vote is elected President."
In other words, Ohio would let states like California and New York essentially have veto power over the will of the state's voters in presidential elections — diluting the influence of rural and conservative voters in favor of the coastal elites in populous states that vote overwhelmingly for Democrats.
Supporters, of course, would never frame it that way, but that is in essence what would happen if the national popular vote were used to decide how Ohio's electoral votes are allocated.
It's a sneaky way to subvert the Electoral College without the messy work of amending the U.S. Constitution."
