“And, you know, to listen to some of the rhetoric, you would think that the Mueller report had found the opposite,” Barr added.
How indeed.

How to Talk to Millennials About Capitalism | City Journal

How to Talk to Millennials About Capitalism | City Journal:
  • Polls show that young people embrace socialism—but they also distrust government regulation and admire entrepreneurialism and small business.
See the source image"For generations, younger Americans found Communists just as scary as Count Dracula, the Wicked Witch of the West, and Darth Vader.
Socialism, so strongly associated with Marx and Lenin, never caught on in the United States.
To modern millennials, however, fear of socialism seems as ancient as a rotary phone.
In March 2019, Axios released results from a Harris poll showing that about half of millennial and Generation Z respondents believed that “our economy should be mostly socialist.”
That result is no outlier, but rather a consistent finding over recent years..."

Investigative report suggests Mueller hired Steele! - WND:
See the source image"A new report from RealClearInvestigation documents how FBI special counsel Robert Mueller spent nearly three quarters of a million dollars on “outside contractors” for his “Russia collusion” report.
But he won’t say who he paid and that has “led congressional investigators, government watchdog groups and others to speculate that the private investigators and researchers who worked for the special counsel’s office might have included Christopher Steele and Fusion GPS, the private research firm that hired Steele to produce the Russia collusion dossier for the Clinton campaign.”

Declaration of Independence: Facebook censored a post for 'hate speech.' - The Washington Post

See the source imageDeclaration of Independence: Facebook censored a post for 'hate speech.' - The Washington Post
"At first glance, the Vindicator’s Facebook promotion did not seem designed to make waves.
The small newspaper, based out of Liberty, a Texas town of 9,175 outside of Houston, planned to post the Declaration of Independence on Facebook in 12 daily installments leading up to the Fourth of July — 242 years since the document was adopted at the Second Continental Congress in 1776.
But on the 10th day, the Vindicator’s latest installment was removed by Facebook.
The company told the newspaper that the particular passage, which included the phrase “merciless Indian Savages,” went against its “standards on hate speech,” the newspaper wrote.
The story about how Facebook had censored one of the United States’ founding texts on the grounds that it was hate speech has traveled around the world..."

Hillary's tech guy: Many hack attempts on Clinton email server - WND:

Image result for flickr commons images hillary clintonThe details come from emails obtained by investigators and located by BizPacReview, which describes how Clinton aide Huma Abedin once responded with a terse “OMG” when she was notified in the middle of the night the system was shut down because of unrelenting attacks.
The report explains Clinton used the private, unsecured email servers from 2009 to 2013. She later was investigated for that, but the FBI director at the time, James Comey, fired later by President Trump, told Americans Clinton was “extremely careless” with national secrets but would not be charged.

The Brave Young Men of Highlands Ranch and Charlotte

  • Kendrick Castillo
See the source image18, a member of the STEM School Highlands Ranch robotics team and a “total nerd,”  wanted to be an electrical engineer.
He died, three days before he would have graduated from his Colorado school, tackling a shooter in his British literature class.
Castillo, who’d planned to start at a community college in the fall, worked part-time at a manufacturing company.
Classmates said he saved their lives.
  • Joshua Jones
Joshua Jones, 18, who also helped bring down the shooter, took two bullets but survived.
A family friend said he’s involved in his church, participated in Boy Scouts and holds an after-school job.
  • Brendan Bialy
18, a future Marine, also charged the shooter.
He escaped without injury.
“I don’t like the idea of running and hiding,” Bialy told a news conference Wednesday afternoon, reports Sam Tabachnik in the Denver Post.
When the gunman entered the classrom, Castillo lunged “like a bowling ball,” Bialy told reporters. Despite his “absolute fear,” Bialy moved to help his friend.
They knocked the gun out of the shooter’s hand.
  • Riley Howell
Last week, Riley Howell, 21, was shot three times tackling a shooter at the University of North Carolina in Charlotte.
An Army ROTC cadet, he was buried with full military honors.
Howell grew up on a farm in the Great Smoky Mountains, a natural athlete and a risk taker, his family told the New York Times.
He worked at a landscaping company and was fascinated by horticulture.

Instead of giving school shooters the notoriety they seek, let’s honor our heroes.
Survivors of the STEM School shooting walked out of a vigil for Kendrick Castillo to protest speeches by politicians and gun-control advocates, reports KUSA.
Students chanted “mental health” and vilified the media, reported the Denver Post. Later, “the students returned, and some of them took the microphone, saying their grief was being used for political purposes.”

Senate Dems' social media poll finds more users want Supreme Court justices like Kavanaugh than Ginsburg | Fox News:

Image result for flickr commons images Brett KavanaughA Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Twitter poll asking what type of Supreme Court justices social media users would like to have on the bench apparently backfired when 71 percent of respondents selected “justices like Brett Kavanaugh” compared to just 29 percent who chose “justices like Ruth Bader Ginsburg.”
The poll, which is not scientific and open to anyone with a Twitter account, was posted on May 3 and stated it had two more days before it closed.
However, by Sunday afternoon, the tweet had vanished.

Empirical Study: Indoctrinated US Climate Activist Kids can be Used to Influence their Conservative Parents | Watts Up With That?
Guest essay by Eric Worrall
According to the abstract this propaganda technique, indoctrinating children with educational material deliberately designed to help them influence parents, is particularly effective on Conservative men when the influencer is their daughter.
Children can foster climate change concern among their parents
Published: 06 May 2019--...The collective action that is required to mitigate and adapt to climate change is extremely difficult to achieve, largely due to socio-ideological biases that perpetuate polarization over climate change. Because climate change perceptions in children seem less susceptible to the influence of worldview or political context, it may be possible for them to inspire adults towards higher levels of climate concern, and in turn, collective action...The effects were strongest among male parents and conservative parents, who, consistent with previous research, displayed the lowest levels of climate concern before the intervention. Daughters appeared to be especially effective in influencing parents. Our results suggest that intergenerational learning may overcome barriers to building climate concern.

"In August 2018, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy, a Democrat, vetoed a bill that would have imposed a five-cent fee on both paper and plastic carryout bags, arguing that the legislation did not do enough to protect the Garden State's famed natural beauty.
"Single-use carryout bags—particularly plastic bags—represent a significant source of the litter that clutters our communities and mars New Jersey's beautiful shoreline and parks," wrote Murphy in his veto statement.
"Instituting a five-cent fee on single-use bags that only applies to certain retailers does not go far enough."...

Arizona’s Department Of Child Safety Has A Pattern Of Sending SWAT Teams For ‘Medical Kidnapping’ | The Daily Caller:

Image result for flickr commons images Police LightsMedical kidnapping is the phenomenon of the state taking children away from their parents and putting them into foster care, “simply because the parents did not agree with a doctor regarding their prescribed medical treatment for the family,” according to the book, “Medical Kidnapping: A Threat to Every American Today.”
Members of the group Arizona DCS Oversight Group (ADOG), a watchdog of Arizona’s DCS, say the SWAT team raid is one of many in which Arizona DCS “legally kidnaps,” or takes children for no good reason.
Worse yet, federal funding streams may be motivating these child renditions.

Image result for greatness of Donald TrumpThe strange greatness of Donald Trump | TheHill
"...Moving from the defensive to the positive side of the balance sheet, despite all of the attacks and resistance, Trump has accomplished more in two years than his four immediate predecessors accomplished in four to eight years.

  • The economy is in the best shape in modern history.
  • New and better trade agreements have been developed with the major economies.
  • Our defense is much stronger, including a stronger and better funded NATO.
  • Our principal adversaries — Russia, China, Iran, North Korea — are more off-balance than they have been in decades. Each of them is tough and ruthless, but they see in Trump someone who understands them and is equally tough in defending his country.
  • And, with the collapse of ObamaCare, Trump has a huge opportunity to advance an effective, market-based approach to American health care coverage and cost control to help everyone.

Belying the hysteria of the left, all Americans are moving forward; these are not “sad times,” and there is no “crisis.”...

A Nod to Violence: CNN Further Normalizes Leftist Antifa Terrorists

See the source imageA Nod to Violence: CNN Further Normalizes Leftist Antifa Terrorists
"It’s been over three years since the FBI and the Department of Homeland security referred to the radical leftist Antifa movement's behavior as that of a “domestic terrorist” organization, but that hasn’t stopped CNN from promoting their activities.
Just days after CNN host Chris Cuomo argued that Antifa was a “true” and “good cause,” social justice warrior Kamau Bell on Sunday’s United Shades of America offered a national platform to an Antifa member while offering no pushback against their violent tactics.
Completely ignoring the terrorist designation, Bell sat down with a young woman who only went by the name Ariel.
As they began their discussion, Bell allowed her to twist and lie about what Antifa actually was:
BELL: So, how would you describe yourself in relation to Antifa.
ARIEL: The way I describe Antifa is more like this. Like, do you approve of fascism?
BELL: No.
ARIEL: Then, you can consider yourself Antifa if you chose to. So, if you're opposed to fascism –
BELL: Yeah, I am.
ARIEL: -- then you are Antifa because it’s anti-fascism.
“Do you think people deserve love? Antifa,” she exclaimed..."
