Judicial Watch Sues over California Law Requiring Presidential Candidates Appearing on Primary Ballot to Disclose Tax Returns | Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch Sues over California Law Requiring Presidential Candidates Appearing on Primary Ballot to Disclose Tax Returns | Judicial Watch:

Image result for flickr commons images California FlagJudicial Watch announced today that it filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of four California voters to prevent the California secretary of state from implementing a new state law requiring all presidential candidates who wish to appear on California’s primary ballot to publicly disclose their personal tax returns from the past five years (Jerry Griffin et al. v. Alex Padilla (No. 2:19-cv-01477). The suit alleges that the law unconstitutionally adds a new qualification for candidates for president. Judicial Watch’s clients include a registered Independent, Republican, and Democrat California voter.

Fascinating!-----YET ANOTHER CLIMATE CHANGE STUDY...

YET ANOTHER CLIMATE CHANGE STUDY...
"...I submit that there's an odd pattern that has emerged over the decades, if you have been following it.
The pattern, briefly, is this: every few weeks a study is released "proving" that "climate change" is real and that it is anthropogenic (man made). Then, a few weeks later, another study will be released, "proving" it is not happening and not man-made.
...I want to cite much of the beginning of this article, for a purpose we'll get back to:
A new scientific study could bust wide open deeply flawed fundamental assumptions underlying controversial climate legislation and initiatives such as the Green New Deal, namely, the degree to which 'climate change' is driven by natural phenomena vs. man-made issues measured as carbon footprint. Scientists in Finland found "practically no anthropogenic [man-made]climate change" after a series of studies.
...This raises urgent questions and central contradictions regarding current models which politicians and environmental groups across the globe are using to push radical economic changes on their countries' populations....
...And the team in Japan has called for a total reevaluation of current climate models, which remain dangerously flawed for dismissing a crucial variable...
See the source image ...the one thing shared by most publicly available and discussed climate change studies - whether pro or con - is the complete lack of discussion of various geophysical engineering technologies: cloud seeding, and, for our purposes here, ionospheric heaters.
Those technologies are real, and they can cause significant damage.
The tragic flood in Rapid City, South Dakota, in 1972 followed directly upon a massive cloud seeding effort.
That seeding has expanded, if you've been following the chemtrail story...which will affect the weather as a byproduct of whatever motivations may lie behind this activity, and there's no doubt in my mind that this motivation is military in nature..."

HAMMER: Conservatives Must Not Go Soft On ‘Assault Weapons’ | Daily Wire:

Image result for 2nd AdmendmentBut more fundamentally, as National Review's David French has articulately argued, "assault weapons" secure the very purpose of the Second Amendment, in defending against government tyranny. "The argument is not that a collection of random citizens should be able to go head-to-head with the Third Cavalry Regiment," French wrote last year. "Rather, for the Second Amendment to remain a meaningful check on state power, citizens must be able to possess the kinds and categories of weapons that can at least deter state overreach, that would make true authoritarianism too costly to attempt."

America Is Drowning in the Left's Lies About Trump

See the source imageAmerica Is Drowning in the Left's Lies About Trump
"The president of the United States, Donald Trump, never said there were "fine" Nazis or Ku Klux Klansmen.
This is one of the two great lies of our time -- the other being that all Trump supporters are racists -- and perhaps in all of American history.
I cannot think of a lie of such significance that was held as truth by so many Americans, by every leading politician of one of the two major political parties and disseminated by virtually the entire media.
The major news media need to understand these are important reasons that half of America considers them frauds.
And we get no pleasure from this fact.
See the source imageThe reason we don't recoil when the president labels the mainstream media "fake news" is that we know the charge is true.
Has one major media news outlet yet apologized to the American people for preoccupying them for nearly two years with the lie of "Trump collusion" with Russia?
Has one Democrat?
Of course not.
Because with regard to the Trump-Russia collusion issue, the news media were never driven by a pursuit of truth; they were driven by a pursuit of Trump..."

Another Headline the New York Times Has to Rewrite - WSJ
"On Monday night the New York Times changed an accurate headline for its Tuesday print edition after some Twitter users complained that it was insufficiently critical of President Donald Trump.
A new court decision on another Times story related to gun violence suggests that abandoning journalistic standards can carry a heavy price.See the source image
Monday night’s early front-page Times headline, “Trump Urges Unity Vs. Racism,” fairly described Mr. Trump’s remarks at the White House.
But after various angry tweets, the next edition’s headline, “Assailing Hate But Not Guns,” included a subtle gripe that the President had not immediately adopted a more liberal position on gun policy in the wake of weekend shootings.
...In any case, the headlines still to be written about another controversy are likely of much greater concern at the Times.
On Tuesday, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit revived former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s 2017 defamation lawsuit against the newspaper.
See the source imageSpecifically, the court has vacated a district judge’s dismissal of her case.
Mrs. Palin sued the newspaper after it falsely accused her political organization of inspiring a shooting.
In a June 14, 2017 editorial following James Hodgkinson’s attempted assassination of Republican legislators, the Times recycled a bogus claim that Mrs. Palin’s political action committee had incited Jared Loughner to shoot Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in a 2011 attack that also wounded others and killed six.
This fake news about Mrs. Palin had been thoroughly debunked years earlier.
The smear relied on a map published by her SarahPAC showing crosshairs on various congressional districts, including Ms. Giffords’, that Republicans wanted to flip to the GOP column.
But there was no evidence that Loughner had ever seen the map and his obsession with Ms. Giffords had begun years before..."

Prof calls to get rid of grades because they are 'capitalism in action'
"A New York professor is calling for the abolition of grades.
He claims they are not only unfair to students, but that they are a means of propping up capitalism, and as such, academia would be better off doing away with grading entirely.
“Grading takes up much of my time that could be better spent on teaching or otherwise directly interacting with students,” New School professor
...Wolff could face an uphill battle selling this idea to students.
In March, Campus Reform visited Florida International University to ask students who support socialism whether they would also support the system being applied to their grades.
Most students were not fans of the idea.

How high taxes drive the illicit cigarette market - AEI
"...the problem is that high taxes and hence high prices drive illicit markets.
My AEI colleagues Aparna Mathur and Cody Kallen and I published a paper today in the journal Applied Economics called “The Perverse Effect of Sin Taxes: The Rise of Illicit White Cigarettes”.
In it, we describe the widespread availability of illicit cigarettes and the risks they present, not only to public health and government revenue, but also in how they assist organized crime.
We specifically look at the fastest growing market, called illicit whites.
These are cigarettes that are legal in the country of production, but are illegally smuggled into other markets without the payment of applicable taxes..."

The BBC has reported that fast food giant McDonald’s has apparently admitted — according to an internal McDonald’s memo, reported on by The Sun — that the newer paper straws they use in the U.K. and Ireland are NOT recyclable.
The ironic part?
The formerly used plastic straws were 100 percent recyclable.
Supposedly, the problem with the paper straws not being able to be recycled stems from McDonald’s having to thicken the paper they used for the straws because of customer complaints that straws were too flimsy..."
