No matter how much one opposes Trump, it would have been a serious misuse of the House's impeachment power. The 95 members who voted for it either do not understand or do not care about the purpose and proper use of this procedure.
Green's resolution said that the president should be impeached because he is "unfit to represent" American values of "decency and morality" and "respectability and civility." It also cited Trump's criticism of four Democratic House members.

"Much has been written and will be written on the death of Jeffery Epstein.  
Was it suicide?  
Was it murder?  
The only thing certain is that the man did not die of natural causes.

The official finding will most likely be suicide.  
Even if this is actually the case, it still will fuel "conspiracy" theories.  
Rightfully so.  
The man already tried to commit suicide the week before, after which he was supposedly placed on suicide watch.  
Here's a very important point.  
Epstein was probably the most valuable human asset ever housed in the Manhattan Correctional Center, given the high-level people he could have implicated in his pedophilia escapades and brought down.
You would think every precaution would have been made to keep him alive.
Trust in government and the agencies of government is already at an all time low.  
The Department of Justice, the CIA, and the FBI have already discredited themselves by their participation in the coup against President Trump.  
So whether Epstein's death was due to sinister acts by people in government or merely gross incompetence, the result will be the same: the public trust will continue to evaporate.  
This spells trouble for all of us.  
If people's confidence in government falls far enough, then things can be held together only with force.  
That won't be America."

"This article, could make you, both laugh and cry. 
We should cry because of the realities of this industry, as the USA adds tens of thousands of turbines every year; therefore, tens of thousands of blades end up in our landfills.  
We should laugh b/c the company “did not respond” to the request for exact lifespan of these specific blades. 
This industry is very good at hiding/twisting the truth. 
I wouldn’t be surprised if they never responded to the question. 
One falsehood is that many believe each machine lasts 20-25 years. 
In reality, the gearbox and blades are the ‘Achilles heel’ of each turbine and require frequent maintenance. 
Just ask their insurers! 
We have blogged about this reality, before! 
In Van Wert, Ohio, for instance, we have pictures of dozens of blades lined up in neat and tidy rows. 
Why? 
Our industrial wind site is nowhere near 20 years old???!!!!…..

The disposal of approximately 1,000 wind turbine blades at the Casper (Wyoming) Regional Landfill will generate an estimated $675,485….the blades and the motor housing are non-recyclable because they are made from fiberglass.
Instream Environmental did not respond immediately to Oil City’s request for comment on Thursday, Aug. 1, so it is unclear the exact lifespan of these specific blades…

Acosta had explained, breezily, apparently, that back in the day he’d had just one meeting on the Epstein case. 
He’d cut the non-prosecution deal with one of Epstein’s attorneys because he had “been told” to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. 
“I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone,” he told his interviewers in the Trump transition, who evidently thought that was a sufficient answer and went ahead and hired Acosta..."

"...In the true confessions department, I once had to spend 45 minutes behind bars in a county lockup. 
Never you mind just how this happened! (“It was all just a misunderstanding officer! Really, I swear it!”)
The intake process involved removing my tie, my belt, shoes, my wristwatch, and—in what struck me as the most unnecessary step—even my wedding ring. 
There wasn’t even toilet paper in the cell that I could attempt to swallow if I wanted to try to choke myself or throw spitwads at another cell dweller (who were all passed out in any case).

If a local county lockup can take these kind of precautions against self-harm, it beggars belief that a federal facility, guarding the most high-profile criminal in the country just now, couldn’t prevent a hanging. 

This stinks.

Attorney General Barr is asking for an FBI investigation and and Inspector General investigation. 

Why an IG investigation, too? 

Maybe he doesn’t trust the Clinton-friendly FBI? 

(On the other hand, if this IG report takes as long as most of them do to finish, we’ll be dead from global warming before we see it.)"
