Fact Check: Joe Scarborough Claims Jimmy Carter's Economy Was Better Than Donald Trump's:
Joe Scarborough wants you to believe that the economy of Jimmy Carter’s “Malaise” era was greater than the Trump economy.
I swear I am not making this up.

Clarice Feldman - Some outlets are misidentifying the image of Ali...
"Some outlets are misidentifying the image of Ali Yousif Ahmed Al-Nouri (the Al Qaeda terrorist from Arizona) as the Iranian Rapper Amir Hussein Maqsoodlo AKA Amir Tataloo.
This could be part of a disinformation campaign to whitewash the fact that he is an Arab.
It’s interesting that one outlet, the Daily Wikis has hijacked the identity of a medical Student named Caroline Burke and are presenting her as their reporter and are using her name and picture to publish large amounts of content (about 20 published articles).
Interestingly, the Daily Wikis has the top Google ranking result for Al-Nouri’s name - image match.
So, Google, not only censors conservative content, it activity promotes disinformation.Dershowitz on Trump's Likely Acquittal: 'It's the Fault of Nancy Pelosi and Others for Failing to Charge an Impeachable Offense'
Dershowitz on Trump's Likely Acquittal: 'It's the Fault of Nancy Pelosi and Others for Failing to Charge an Impeachable Offense':
During an appearance with Fox News on Sunday, Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz responded to criticism that the lack of witnesses in President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial put a “taint” on what is likely to be an acquittal.
Dershowitz blamed House Democrats for not bring charges that involved actual impeachable offense.

Democrats Who Voted For Impeachment And Now Demand Witnesses Deserve To Be Primaried | The Daily Caller:
The argument, presented by White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, was that bringing new witnesses, documents and other evidence into the Senate trial would turn the Senate into an investigative body — a role reserved for the House in cases of impeachment, as the Senate is expected to sit as a court of impeachment, acting as jury and judge.

"Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) made a bizarre announcement at a campaign stop in Iowa last Sunday, telling the crowd that, when she selects her cabinet, she’ll only consider candidates for the Secretary of Education who have taught in public schools, and the final candidate will only take office after passing an interview with a “young trans person.”
One of the attendees at Warren’s weekend stop in Cedar Rapids asked the Massachusetts Senator and hopeful 2020 Democratic presidential nominee whether she would support more education on LGBT and transgender issues for school-aged children.

"A report released in October 2019 by the White House Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) estimates increased oil and natural gas production from hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”) saves American families $203 billion annually on gasoline and electricity bills.

This breaks down to $2,500 in savings per family per year.
“From 2007 to 2019, innovation in shale production brought an eight-fold increase in extraction productivity for natural gas and a nineteen-fold increase for oil,” the report states. “These productivity gains have reduced costs and spurred production to record-breaking levels. As a result, the United States has become the world’s largest producer of both commodities, surpassing Russia in 2011 (for natural gas) and Saudi Arabia and Russia in 2018 (for oil). CEA estimates that greater productivity has reduced the domestic price of natural gas by 63 percent as of 2018 and led to a 45 percent decrease in the wholesale price of electricity. Shale production has also reduced the global price of oil by 10 percent as of 2019.”
Eighty percent of the $2,500 annual household savings comes from the reduction in price of natural gas, which has helped lower electricity costs by 45 percent since 2007.
The other 20 percent of savings comes from lower costs for gasoline and heating fuels..."

Mike Bloomberg Just Lost My Vote With His Super Bowl Ad – Reason.com
"The billionaire former three-term mayor of New York panders to Democratic loyalists rather than laying out a vision for a prosperous, tolerant America.
Many Americans will basically be meeting Mike Bloomberg for the first time today, when the billionaire former three-term mayor of New York City drops an ad costing a reported $11 million during the Super Bowl.
...But based on his commercial, which is about gun violence in America, Bloomberg has already lost my potential vote.
Let me explain.
...But that Super Bowl ad kills whatever minor buzz he gave me.
This is how he chooses to intro himself to the voting public?
The ad recounts the tragic, senseless shooting death of a young black man...
... All of the things that Bloomberg suggests are either already basically the law or won't have the effects supporters claim.
As my Reason colleague Jacob Sullum has written, background checks will do nothing to stop mass shootings because "perpetrators of these attacks typically do not have disqualifying criminal or psychiatric records."
Beyond that, passing more and stricter laws generally don't stop criminals, who don't follow laws, from getting guns.
...Given his billions, Bloomberg can afford to follow his bliss when it comes to campaigning, but I know I'll be looking elsewhere for a candidate to support.

BANNED: MSU Student gov Bans Cafeteria Trays
"A new Michigan State University student government resolution hopes to implement trayless dining by Fall 2020.
In an attempt to make dining at MSU more eco-friendly, trays in dining halls will not be an available option unless specifically requested once entering the cafeteria.
According to the Associated Students of Michigan State University’s (ASMSU) Bill 56-30, doing away with trays will decrease food waste, energy waste, and water usage.
The bill points that “MSU prides itself on sustainability,” but lacks this “key policy.”
The bill further aims to help shape student diets, stating “reducing tray usage would improve the health of students by encouraging conscious portion sizes.”...

"MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – A written bomb threat resulted in all students at a Muskegon area charter school being sent home Friday.
The threat was found at Timberland Charter Academy and police were called around 11:20 a.m. Jan. 31, said Muskegon Township Police Chief Tim Thielbar.
The school at 2574 McLaughlin Ave. was quickly evacuated and the decision was made to send students home, Thielbar said.
As of 2:30 p.m., police were waiting for a bomb detection dog to arrive to do a sweep of the school, Thielbar said.
The threat was found in a boy’s bathroom and was “definitely a child’s handwriting,” Thielbar said.
It was unclear how long it had been there as there were many other graffiti writings in the same area, he said..."

"The 30-second pro-life ad that FOX Sports rejected for Sunday’s Super Bowl does not even mention the word “abortion.”
Produced by the new Faces of Choice pro-life organization, the ad was created to air during the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.
It shows people who have survived abortions asking the question, “Can you look me in the eye and tell me that I shouldn’t be alive?”
The simple, yet profound ad makes people think about the injustice of abortion without mentioning the word.
Through the faces and words of abortion survivors, it exposes the undeniable, ugly truth that an abortion kills a unique human life.
