Panicking in crisis!-----FLASHBACK: Joe Biden Spread Panic About Swine Flu in 2009

FLASHBACK: Joe Biden Spread Panic About Swine Flu in 2009Joe Biden (Jeenah Moon / Getty)
"Former Vice President Joe Biden claims that he was responsible for the Obama administration’s handling of the Ebola outbreak in 2014.
But Biden caused panic in 2009 during the swine flu outbreak, telling Americans not to take flights or subways.
Biden had to walk back his remarks and the Obama White House had to issue an apology.
Politico reported at the time:
In an interview Thursday on NBC’s “Today” show, Biden said, “I would tell members of my family — and I have — I wouldn’t go anywhere in confined places now,” Biden said on NBC’s “Today” show.. “It’s not that it’s going to Mexico. It’s [that] you’re in a confined aircraft. When one person sneezes, it goes all the way through the aircraft. That’s me. …"

When Will Conservatives Understand That It’s Not a Contest of Ideas? – American Greatness
"...We have a defender in the White House, but the social ideas of the Left prevail in nearly every other elite and cultural space in the United States.
The election of November 2016, the elevation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, the Mueller report debacle, the Iran turnaround, and other wins for conservatives may be satisfying, but they have not shaken the leftist lock on our institutions one bit.
The simmering stew of
  • LGBT rights,
  • toxic masculinity,
  • white privilege,
  • disparate impact calculations, and
  • Millennial social justice campaigns
has become dogma in corporate America, media, higher education, K-12 public schools (and many private schools, too), Silicon Valley, Hollywood, Broadway, the art world, museums, libraries .
...It’s not a contest of ideas, it’s a competition for jobs.
As leftists
  • take over human resources offices,
  • reduce the number of conservatives on the faculty to less than 3 percent,
  • make appointments to political office contingent upon compliance with political correctness, and
  • exile troublemakers and nonconformists such as James Woods and Charles Murray,
the game as conservatives used to understand it is over.
Conservatives lost the war of positions long ago.
Woods is a great actor, but so what?
Murray is one of the great social scientists of our time, but no academic department would have him.
...For the Left, outcomes trump procedure just as politics eclipses intelligence, conscientiousness, and competence.
One thing I saw in more than 30 years in academia was that while leftists on the faculty were not always the brightest bulbs in the room, they often managed to populate university and department committees where policies were created and passed.
While we were teaching and researching; they were reshaping the institution.
...They were taking over.
Put it this way: We were clueless, they were canny.
Donald Trump understands this.
That’s one reason the Left despises him
...If, after President Trump leaves office, they don’t start thinking more about personnel, if they don’t consider the population of institutions as much as they do the structure of institutions, if they choose a leader who thinks technocratically instead of ad hominem-ly, we will indeed end up with the permanent Democratic majority liberal intellectuals have predicted for the last 20 years."

Be wary of backing Joe Biden and his 'senior moments': Devine

Be wary of backing Joe Biden and his 'senior moments': Devine
"...The 77-year-old former vice president showed why, moments after taking the stage in Los Angeles on Tuesday night: He mistook his wife for his sister.
...But then a protester leaped on stage and Biden’s wife, Jill, 68, instinctively stepped between him and the lunging vegan, grabbed the woman by the wrists and shoved her away.
It was a heroic performance, but it also showed Biden’s peculiar passivity: He just stood there, not reacting, as his wife went into physical battle for him.
...The truth is that anyone who has seen Biden up close knows he has some sort of cognitive impairment.
He often seems bewildered, can’t remember what state he is in, if he’s running for the Senate or the presidency or even whether it’s Super Tuesday or “Super Thursday.”
...It’s sad to see the fear in his face when he suffers these “senior moments.”
Everyone has memory lapses, but the problem for Biden is that his are all too frequent and bizarre, and the attempt to explain them away as a function of his childhood stutter are only a temporary diversion.are for suckers..."

Nolte: Democrats, Bernie Bros Brawl over Joe Biden's Mental Health

Image result for flickr commons images joe bidenNolte: Democrats, Bernie Bros Brawl over Joe Biden's Mental Health:

A number of high-profile Democrat activists and left-wing pundits are concerned with the obvious mental decline of Joe Biden and the party’s refusal to acknowledge the issue.
Many of these activists, if not all, are supporters of Bernie Sanders, who is still in the race to defeat Biden for the Democrat nomination. Potential biases aside, to anyone who’s been paying attention, these fears are not unfounded.

You ought to know, that's just the STATE money!-----Michigan Capitol Confidential - Posts

Michigan Capitol Confidential - Posts
The MEA supports its “inadequate funding claims” by focusing on just one school revenue source, which is the per-pupil statefoundation allowance” that follows students to whatever public school they attend.
Using only the foundation allowance ignores millions of dollars in other state funding that also goes to school districts.
For example, in 2018-19 Wayne-Westland received an additional $5.4 million from the state for “at risk” students.
That “at-risk” money is not part of the foundation allowance.
When reviewing all of the state dollars that Wayne-Westland has received over the past nine years, it has increased faster than inflation.
In 2009-10, Wayne-Westland received the equivalent in 2019 dollars of $7,665 in per-pupil state foundation allowance dollars.
By 2018-19 this had risen by $680, to $8,645 per student."

Image result for Camille Lilly"Illinois state representative (DEMOCRAT!) Camille Lilly recently sponsored a bill to restrict self-service gasoline stations.
New Jersey and Oregon already ban self-service gas, although Oregon exempts rural counties.
Would creating jobs for gas station attendants be good economics?
...But wouldn’t jobs for attendants boost the economy?
Illinois’ Representative Lilly thinks so.
Desirability matters when considering creating or bringing back a class of jobs.
How many people really want to pump gas all day in the snow and cold of Illinois or the heat of Alabama?...

They all have an affinity for far-left politics and practices. They are all in a demographic that is younger and less white than most in Congress. They often have clashed with their own party's leadership. They all have the support of the Justice Democrats political action committee, a far-left group.
They also all have no plans to ban terrorists from working for the TSA.

Joe Biden: Not a Socialist, Just a Scoundrel | National Review

Joe Biden: Not a Socialist, Just a Scoundrel | National Review
"He is a vicious partisan, a coward, and a habitual liar.
...What can we say for Joe Biden?
...He is a vicious self-serving political hack, for one thing, one whose ambition leads him from time to time into shocking indecency.
You may have heard that Biden lost his wife and daughter in a horrifying drunk-driving wreck, the fault of a monster of a man who irresponsibly “drank his lunch,” as Biden puts it.
Image result for Joe Biden liarNever happened.
Biden’s wife and daughter did, in fact, die in a car wreck.
That is true.
It is not true that the driver of the other car was drunk, that he had been drinking, or that there was any reason to believe he was drunk or had been drinking — or even that he was at fault.
The late Mrs. Biden “drove into the path of [the] tractor-trailer,” the police report says.
...The driver of that truck went to his grave haunted by Biden’s lies, to the point where his children were forced to beg the vice president to stop defaming their late father.
The casual cruelty with which Biden is willing to subordinate the lives of ordinary people to his political ambitions — for the sake of a petty tear-jerker line in one of his occasionally plagiarized stump speeches — is remarkable.
But that’s Joe Biden.
...Biden was protected by the Democratic political machine and then by Senate seniority; later, he was protected by the Obama administration and by protectors of the Obama administration..."
