Whitmer won't name vendors she said were told to divert medical supplies from Michigan
"The Democratic governor's suggestion Friday that the Trump administration was actively blocking the flow of medical supplies to Michigan hospitals drew criticism from Republicans after the governor's office did not put forward any supporting evidence of her claim.
"I think people are trying to make this into a different story than what it is," Whitmer said Sunday on CNN.
Late Saturday night, GOP state Reps. Annette Glenn of Midland and Mary Whiteford of South Haven sent Whitmer a letter asking that her office disclose "names of individual vendors with whom you or members of your staff have spoken, names of their companies, gubernatorial or agency phone logs, e-mails, etc. — so that we can immediately join you in taking quick action to remove any and all roadblocks."
