Should We Postpone the Presidential Election One Year?

Should We Postpone the Presidential Election One Year?
See the source image"The deeper we get into the pandemic, the more our country becomes locked down and socially distant: schools closed, shops closed, restaurants and theaters shut, churches reduced to services in parking lots, sporting events suspended, and recreational venues roped off.
The longer this continues with no real end in sight, only guesses by experts with ever-changing “models,” the more it becomes inevitable we must ask the question… Should we postpone the presidential election?
Or do we want some virtual election that would be so distant from a traditional American election it would more closely resemble a computer game while at the same time being fraught with myriad new possibilities for fraud and manipulation such as we have never seen before?...

The DREAM will be mandated?-----Strong Demand For Government-Owned Broadband – From Government Officials – Michigan Capitol Confidential

Strong Demand For Government-Owned Broadband – From Government Officials – Michigan Capitol Confidential  Jan. 17, 2020
See the source image"The Southeast Michigan cities of Farmington and Farmington Hills are moving ahead with a plan to develop some form of municipal broadband internet service, hoping to provide reliable, high-speed connections at a lower cost than currently available private sector options.
Whether they can manage it remains an open question.
Government-backed broadband has, at best, a checkered history of success.
...Those officials likened public sector provision of comprehensive broadband technology to local government efforts in the 19th and 20th century to build road, water and sewer infrastructure. Broadband, they say, is vital for economic prosperity in the 21st century..."

As bad as the virus is/might be, the political response, at every level, has been much more damaging.--Muskegon County Informed-Politics, taxes and politicians.

Muskegon County Informed-Politics, taxes and politicians.Jim Riley shared a post.
"As bad as the virus is/might be, the political response, at every level, has been much more damaging.
  • As Dave Agema writes "America's enemies see what is happening...".
  • This will be repeated in some form again. And again.
  • Those enemies of American life are not only foreign.
  • Many within our own country seek to "fundamentally change" our society.
  • Media hysterics and complacent voters are the foot-soldiers of those politicians who would empower themselves at the cost of our Founder's vision.
Be forewarned!

"While we are all preoccupied with the virus threat, there are other nefarious threats most are missing. There is the threat that Islamic leaders pose in asking their people infected with the disease to infect others in virus jihad- die for the cause of Islam, infect others and go straight to heaven- truly sick, no pun intended.
We also have the oil war between the Saudis and Russia where the Saudis are pumping massive amounts into the world markets lowering prices, but it’s hidden agenda is to make America‘s frackers go out of business because it cost more to frack, thereby making American more dependent on them and not energy Independant. While we are economically down, they will pound and not let up. They see an injured opponent and will attempt to finish it. The Saudis are not our friends. Their form of Islam is the most radical.
America’s enemies see what is happening with one virus threat and will certainly produce others. This will NOT be the end of biological warfare, but the beginning. It is therefore incumbent upon America and its governors and mayors to have an effective “disaster preparedness“ plan in place for future threats.
Finally, the cure presently in place may very well be worse than the disease. We are near total shut down- approaching a police state where too much power has been subjugated to politicians in leadership positions. Constitutional rights have been lost for the “greater good.” Unless guidelines in the very near future are lessened, a sustained depression will occur-exactly what the democrats have been yearning for.
A weakened America is an easy target. Too many will lose jobs. Many businesses will not recover and that is exactly what America’s enemies want. Pray for wisdom for our elected leaders. Elect politicians whose agenda is for the people they represent, not their own."

The way THEY play the "game".

Miami-Dade’s agricultural production ‘rotting on the vine’ amid coronavirus crisis

Miami-Dade’s agricultural production ‘rotting on the vine’ amid coronavirus crisis
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. –

  • “I would say without any help, I don’t see how we could survive,” said De Vallois.

"...The farmers’ vegetables and fruits usually end up at restaurants, cruise ships and hotels.
With those businesses suffering, Charles LaPradd, who has served as Miami-Dade’s agricultural manager for about 15 years, said he is seeing markets just evaporate in an unprecedented manner.
...This is the height of their growing season, he said. This is when they are picking and shipping off to the rest of the country.
“It is literally rotting on the vine,” La Pradd said.
“This is worst than a freeze or cold snap because some of the produce is usually salvageable, but in this case, there is just nowhere for it to go.”...

USS Lewis B. Puller (ESB 3)Army Apache Attack Helicopters Deploy To The Navy's Giant Sea Base In The Arabian Gulf - The Drive
"The Navy's new hulking Expeditionary Sea Bases, also referred to as Afloat Forward Staging Bases, are amazingly versatile motherships that can rapidly set up shop in the most troubled of neighborhoods.
...Although their primary mission is to support lumbering MH-53E Sea Dragon mine-hunting helicopters, they also regularly play host to submarine hunting and utility helicopters, and even attack choppers.
Case in point, late last March, U.S. Army AH-64E Apache Guardians flew out to USS Lewis B. Puller (ESB-3) in the Arabian Gulf to work on clearing the waters of enemy small boat swarms with the help of other assets forward-deployed to the region..."

54 million Europeans must choose between eating and heating – EURACTIV.com
"An estimated 54 million Europeans suffer from energy poverty, according to a European Commission analysis, which blames rising prices, low income and energy inefficient homes for forcing people to choose between eating or heating.
...Fuel poverty is not about being poor, but about a combination of low-quality housing and high energy prices causing financial difficulties, and ultimately compromising health and well-being..."

Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted China for continuing “to threaten the rest of us” by reopening its open-air food markets.
Chinese wet markets, where all sorts of unusual animals — from bats to cats to scorpions — are sold to consumers as food, have long been considered a breeding ground for exotic viruses. Despite the fact that such markets were considered ground zero for the novel coronavirus outbreak, reports emerged over the weekend that wet markets have been reopened in major cities across China.

Republican Wisconsin Rep. Bryan Steil introduced a bill Friday to rescind the $25 million for the Kennedy Center that was included in the $2 trillion coronavirus package, as they have laid off musicians.
Steil’s bill, which has 15 cosponsors including House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, would pull the $25 million for the Kennedy Center. According to Steil, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was likely the one who had the idea for the funding for the Kennedy Center in the first place.

Those assurances, as it turns out, were not very reliable..."

“Ming Lin, an emergency room physician in Washington state, said he was told Friday he was out of a job because he’d given an interview to a newspaper about a Facebook post detailing what he believed to be inadequate protective equipment and testing.
In Chicago, a nurse was fired after emailing colleagues that she wanted to wear a more protective mask while on duty.
In New York, the NYU Langone Health system has warned employees they could be terminated if they talk to the media without authorization.”

The Left Viciously Mocks Melania After She Encourages Americans to Enjoy the Outdoors – The American Mirror
  • The left has reached an all-new low
The left has become so thin-skinned that a picture of a tree has them losing their minds.
Yep, a TREE.
First Lady Melania Trump shared a beautiful photo of a blossoming tree and encouraged Americans to get outside during their quarantine and enjoy nature:

If you are able, try to take a few moments to get outside & breathe in some fresh air. Enjoy spring & beautiful nature! We all need to take care of ourselves so that we can try to help take care of others.

And the liberal meltdown that followed this post was on a whole new level.
  • “Must be nice to have a big beautiful area to walk around. But please everyone step outside of there tiny little apartments right next to lots of people, and get the virus. Freaking clueless!” Missy Dee@CuteCoffeeWench

  • "Thanks Nipples, We’ll be sure to share this with the people waiting for ventilators in ICU.”Gailen David @gailendavid

There’s absolutely no reason to attack Melania for trying to spread positivity in the wake of the coronavirus."
