In just a few sentences we can explain the futility of this mammoth project that will blight this great desert forever while pulling the curtain down on the futility of attempting to obtain dependable power from the sun unless it is on your rooftop.

  • ...It states “in every communities’ electric grid, an excess amount of fossil fuel or nuclear power must be available at the ready to go online in seconds, that is equal to the potential output of all intermittent solar energy considered a portion of the grids electric capacity.”
  • No batteries exist on earth that could take up the load when the sun is not shining...

(Solar)... must have 100% backed up with fossil fuel or nuclear power to ensure that the communities’ electric grid can not let them down.

Chief Operating Officer Roz Brewer in the letter referred to the economic calamity as "the worst recession since the Great Depression and far more devastating than the global financial crisis" of 2008...

A New York woman died during childbirth last month, and her husband said she tried to get treatment for the condition that killed her, but couldn't because of coronavirus restrictions in hospitals, according to People magazine.
Amber Rose Isaac, 26, died on April 21 when her heart stopped shortly after giving birth to her son, Elias. The child's father, Bruce McIntyre, called the death "100% preventable" if she had been able to get an in-person appointment in the months leading up to her death.

In an interview with WXMI-TV last week, Steve Walker said that the governor's stay-at-home order, which was put into effect on March 24, was the move that sunk his business. While other surrounding businesses were allowed to continue operating, Walker Music & Textile Company was deemed "non-essential" and forced to shut down.

  • Before government shut the nation down, Americans ate half their meals outside home.
  • The farmers who served restaurants and cafeterias are dumping meat, veggies, and milk.
  • And it's going to get worse.
"America’s food system is cracking.
People are still eating, farmers are still farming, and grocery stores are still open, but in areas around the country, shoppers looking for meat, milk, and other products find empty shelves and limits on what they can purchase — all while farmers from coast to coast are forced to dump milk, plow up vegetables, and euthanize livestock.
So what’s happening, and why?...

A Tale of Two Sets of Rules

A Tale of Two Sets of Rules
"With each passing day, it becomes clearer that the United States has two sets of rules:

  • one for the elites in the Democratic Party, the media and the entertainment industry,
  • and a different one for Republicans and us poor slobs in flyover country.

Take the COVID-19 lockdown.
While our economy goes into free fall, we're told by politicians that businesses must stay closed, and everyone must stay home and engage in social distancing.
Illinois, for example, is on lockdown until the end of this month, per Democratic Gov. Jay Pritzger's orders.

Image result for Pelosi's visit Chinatown
  • Meanwhile, Pritzger's wife jets off to Florida.
  • And Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (also a Democrat) gets to go to the salon to have her hair done.
  • The press exaggerates and misstates President Donald Trump's every utterance but ignores House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's absurd invitation to go visit Chinatown in San Francisco at the outset of the global pandemic,
  • and forgives New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's earlier order requiring nursing homes -- which have suffered the highest death rates from the virus -- to take in coronavirus patients.
  • The double standard is even more egregious when it comes to the media's treatment of Tara Reade's accusations of sexual assault against Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden..."

Gowdy told Fox News host and Daily Caller cofounder Tucker Carlson that his mistake was in taking the word of the FBI leadership rather than demanding to see the documents — a mistake he said he corrected within the first three weeks.

Nationwide, Feds find cozy connections between China & university professors

  • In the last year, multiple university professors and researchers have been charged over their connections to China.
  • Now, U.S. college campuses are under increased scrutiny for any connections they may have to the communist regime as the country deals with the fallout from the pandemic.
  • Specifically, colleges are being pressured by all sides to shut down their Chinese-funded Confucius Institutes.
  • The Chinese Virus began infiltrating the United States in early 2020, but the communist country already had a foot in the door well before then.

Maybe they can wish it away?

House Bill Is a $3 Trillion Left-Wing Bonanza | Power Line

House Bill Is a $3 Trillion Left-Wing Bonanza | Power Line
"Nancy Pelosi has unveiled an 1,800 page bill that provides for more than $3 trillion in new spending, ostensibly linked to the coronavirus.
In fact, it is mostly a liberal shopping list.
This is, in summary form, some of what the bill contains:
* Nearly $1 trillion for state and local governments, ostensibly to make up for anticipated budget shortfalls due to the virus...
* $100 billion for “stimulus funding” for education. This has no apparent relationship to the coronavirus.
* Forgiveness of federal and state student loans, up to $10,000 per person. Again, no relationship to the disease.
* $75 billion in “assistance for homeowners.” I take it this is to make up for missed mortgage payments. Also, $100 billion “to help low-income renters avoid evictions.” So taxpayers will be paying other people’s rent as well as mortgages.
* State transit authorities would get $15 billion. I am not sure why. So more mass transit can help the next disease to spread faster?
* $75 billion for the U.S. Postal Service. Just because.
The House will pass Pelosi’s monstrosity on Friday–without having read it, of course.

Government Accountability Institute Research Director Eric Eggers, author of Fraud: How the Left Plans to Steal the Next Election, says it is “fair to assume” that many illegal aliens will receive mail-in ballots in California for the 2020 election thanks to a plan by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D).
In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Tonight, Eggers said California’s automatic voter registration coupled with providing driver’s licenses to illegal aliens opens its elections to a host of fraud.

Free Booze, Pot, and Smokes for San Francisco’s Homeless
"San Francisco officials deny direct involvement in a controversial program, funded by private sources, that provides free alcohol, cannabis, and cigarettes to homeless people living in the city’s hotels during the Covid-19 outbreak.
After news about the special deliveries was leaked and caused embarrassment on social media, the city’s Department of Public Health issued a statement claiming that “rumors that guests of San Francisco’s alternative housing program are receiving taxpayer-funded deliveries of alcohol, cannabis and tobacco are false.
Except they’re not false.

  • The department manages, stores, and distributes the substances.
  • Employee time is involved.

Thus, the program is financed by taxpayers, even if an outside group provides some of the funding. According to DPH spokesperson Jenna Lane, the philanthropists who helped purchase the substances wish to remain anonymous...
