Former neurosurgeon says masks are ineffective against COVID-19 and can cause health problems - TheBlaze:
A former neurosurgeon wrote an op-ed published Thursday warning that face masks are not only ineffective against the novel coronavirus that causes COVID-19, but they can be potentially dangerous in some circumstances.
Dr. Russell Blaylock wrote for Technocracy that people who aren't sick should not wear a face mask. The publication of his opinion piece comes as more businesses and locales make masks a requirement, such as in Los Angeles where residents are now required to wear a mask when they leave their homes.

Coding that led to lockdown was 'totally unreliable' and a 'buggy mess', say experts:
Professor Neil Ferguson's computer coding was derided as “totally unreliable” by leading figures, who warned it was “something you wouldn’t stake your life on".
The model, credited with forcing the Government to make a U-turn and introduce a nationwide lockdown, is a “buggy mess that looks more like a bowl of angel hair pasta than a finely tuned piece of programming”, says David Richards, co-founder of British data technology company WANdisco.
“In our commercial reality, we would fire anyone for developing code like this and any business that relied on it to produce software for sale would likely go bust.”...

Nevada's vote-by-mail primary stirs fraud concerns, as unclaimed ballots pile up: 'Something stinks here' | Fox News
"Red flags are being raised about the all-mail voting system being used in Nevada’s most populous county...
Thousands of ballots have been sent out by the Clark County Election Department to inactive voters – those who have not voted in recent elections, a roster that can include people who either have moved or are deceased – and the envelopes are piling up in post office trays, outside apartment complexes and on community bulletin boards in and around Las Vegas.
The excess ballots have drawn complaints from local residents, who worry that anyone could pick up a ballot off the street and cast a fraudulent vote, as well as from Republican Party officials in the state who see a nefarious motive behind the vote-by-mail system being employed by the Democrat-dominated Clark County Commission...."

...But the pandemic stands to make this problem worse because unemployment payouts are much higher than wages, especially at a time when small businesses need workers to return to work in order for the economy to recover.
Roughly 40% of workers are theoretically poised to make more from unemployment than they do at their regular jobs.
This is because they know, at this particular moment in time they cannot afford to pay their workers more than unemployment is paying them...
...Very few people would willingly make that choice and we are already seeing the consequences of that.
While businesses are opening up, smaller businesses are having a hard time attracting workers to go back.
Some restaurants for instance are more reluctant to ask their workers to return. This is because they know, at this particular moment in time they cannot afford to pay their workers more than unemployment is paying them...

But it's obviously pretty much a non-entity down here.
