The notice was filed with the State Department.

"Add another title to the résumé of Hunter Biden, son of the U.S. president.
Previously known primarily for his well-paid adventures in Ukrainian natural gas, Chinese finance, Romanian real estate, and Russian-backed computer manufacturing, the dashing man of letters is now taking the art world by storm.
Turns out that Hunter Biden is also a painter, and as in so many of his other notable ventures, he seems to have discovered a well-heeled and enthusiastic clientele.
Is there anything Hunter Biden can’t do?
Artnet’s Katya Kazakina reports:
He has a dealer, Georges Bergès; a studio; and a collector base.
...Prices range from $75,000 for works on paper to $500,000 for large-scale paintings, Bergès said.
...Even those who don’t care for the art can still be bullish on its commercial prospects
The Post reports:
Art consultant Martin Galindo told The Post that while he’s “not a fan” of the work by Hunter that he’s seen, “I’m very positive that he’s gonna do well in the market because this industry is very much about, what’s a simple way to put this — it’s like clout.”
...“Honestly, I mean, from an aesthetic perspective, I don’t like it. But I’m sure he’s gonna do really well,” the art consultant said...Read all.

Why Did Traffic Deaths Spike As Drivers Left Roads?

Why Did Traffic Deaths Spike As Drivers Left Roads?
"...Despite having driven much less owing to lockdowns–staying at home out of fear, or simply because there were less places to go and fewer things to do–the National Safety Council (NSC) estimates that
  • over 42,000 Americans died in motor vehicle accidents in 2020.
  • That’s 8% more than the previous year.
  • It’s also the highest death toll since 2007, and the first increase in four years.
  • Worse yet, the rate of fatalities per 100 million driven miles (a normalized measure) in 2020 leapt 24% from the previous year, which is the largest annual increase since statistics began being tracked in 1924...Read all!

Joey Does Number Bonds – Close Enough For Government Work!
Buildings keep falling down in America. What the heck’s going on?
  • Is it bad science? Or maybe bad math? What if building engineers used the kind of modeling/statistics that Professor Neil Ferguson, who led the COVID-19 modeling team at Imperial College in London, used to develop the public policy of lockdown in Britain and America?
We now know the model was so highly flawed it never should have been relied upon for policy decisions to begin with.
As we learn more about the new coronavirus, it is imperative to continue to update the assumptions used in these models. - Heritage
  • Or maybe the failing infrastructure is partially the result of bad social engineering?
Workplace diversity and inclusion is a top priority.
To attract more female candidates, avoid using too many “masculine-type” words (e.g., ambitious, dominate, challenging) in your job posting. Check out if your job posting might be turning off female candidates using this nifty tool here.

Please note: I’m aware that it’s considered both racist and sexist of me to even think there may be a connection between diversity hiring and reduced performance.
...If your job performance is based on how well you meet diversity goals you will meet them, no matter how.
If knowing that and saying it makes me a white supremacist, so be it: like racism itself the words no longer mean anything.
But back to the problem at hand, it’s so bad that Putin has declared “the age of American Dominance” to be over...Read all.

The re-education of the January 6th prisoners

The re-education of the January 6th prisoners

[Court-appointed defense attorney] Shaner’s legal captives are learning the hard way what the government will do when one resists their commands to comply. Not only have their personal lives been shattered, finances depleted, and reputations destroyed by an abusive Justice Department investigation, Shaner’s clients must be indoctrinated with leftist propaganda about America’s alleged systemic racism.

The purge of the populist mindset is underway, courtesy of the fetid Beltway judicial system and the Joe Biden regime.

Judges routinely lecture January 6 defendants about the wrongthink of a “stolen election” while prosecutors openly mock their political beliefs, including home schooling and gun ownership.

“I have had many political and ethical discussions with Anna Lloyd,” Shaner wrote in her motion agreeing to the plea and probation for Lloyd. “I tendered a booklist to her. She has read Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, Just Mercy, and Schindler’s List to educate herself about ‘government policy’ toward Native Americans, African Americans and European Jews. We have discussed the books and also about the responsibility of an individual when confronting ‘wrong.’”

On the face of it, there’s nothing wrong with watching or reading any of Shaner’s “booklist.” What is very wrong is a taxpayer-paid attorney—one who is supposed to fight the government’s charges related to January 6, not play along with its phony depiction that “white supremacists” attacked the Capitol—
using her authority to reprogram the political views of people she is supposed to be defending.
The presumption of racist beliefs is automatic...

CA drought hurts power supplies as heatwave engulfs the West | The Sacramento Bee
"...That additional capacity should be enough to stave off blackouts — so long as California is able to import supplies in a pinch from nearby states.
But if the entire West is blanketed in triple-digit temperatures — like this week — then imports will become scarce, just as they did last August, because other states will want the power that otherwise would flow to California.

...Imports play a critical role in California; they amounted to nearly 28% of all the power consumed in the state in 2019, according to the California Energy Commission...Read all.

Joe Biden Can't Answer Russia Question Without Notecard - Louder With Crowder

Joe Biden Can't Answer Russia Question Without Notecard - Louder With Crowder: A thirteen-year-old boy finding his first Playboy in the woods is nothing compared to the horniness reporters have over Joe Biden eating ice cream. Biden doesn't like the press very much. Or, doing his job. He also has issues with black people. Really, if you're an American, the president isn't a fan. But Joe Biden loves ice cream and our news media loves watching him eat ice cream. One reporter had the audacity to ask Biden a question while our president was getting his fix. Something about Russia possibly hacking something American. Biden seemed confused, but thankfully an aide wrote down what he needed to say.

From 2020!!-----Iran And Italy Are Paying A Hefty Price For Ties With Communist China

Iran And Italy Are Paying A Hefty Price For Ties With Communist China
  • Iran and Italy's economies are worsening, and their people are suffering most in this Wuhan virus outbreak — all because of their leaders’ short-sighted and foolish decisions.--MARCH 17, 2020
"...What many people find shocking is that Italy and Iran are the second- and third-hardest hit nations in this outbreak.
By any common-sense measure, both countries should have much lower numbers of confirmed cases and deaths because they are geographically far from the epicenter of the outbreak.
The reason these two countries are suffering the most outside China is mainly due to their close ties with Beijing, primarily through the “One Belt and One Road” (OBOR) initiative.
OBOR is Beijing’s foreign policy play disguised as infrastructure investment.
  • Here’s how it works: China and country X agree to do an infrastructure project in country X. Country X has to borrow from a Chinese bank to finance the project. A contract is always awarded to Chinese companies, which then bring supplies and Chinese employees to country X to build the project. Clearly, the country that benefits most from this initiative is China.
...While this initiative has worked out well for China’s strategic interests, it hasn’t done the same for participating countries.
At least eight countries that signed on the OBOR initiative are so indebted to the Chinese that they had to hand over their strategic assets to China to offset their debt...Read all!

Real Threats to Planet and People by Paul Driessen

Real Threats to Planet and People by Paul Driessen
"Environmental activism was already nasty and lethal when I wrote Eco-Imperialism: Green Power – Black Death 18 years ago.
It’s gotten steadily worse since then, especially with hysteria about the “looming manmade climate apocalypse” driving ever more extreme demands that we rid the world of fossil fuels and prohibit or roll back modern living standards.
The demands have reached previously unimaginable extremes – based primarily on GIGO computer models and wild assertions about planetary temperatures, weather, ice caps, and vanishing wildlife.
The claims have little basis in real-world evidence but are presented as Gospel Truth by climate alarmists.
  • One group of extremists wants to make what it calls ecocide” an “international crime” – then prosecute and imprison political leaders and corporate executives who have engaged in “mass ecological destruction” that these zealots assert has now reached a magnitude “similar” to Nazi genocide.
  • Others are agitating for aGreat Reset” – demanding that corporations reject their traditional roles and goals, and focus instead on “saving the planet” and advancing racial and gender “equity.” This unavoidably means companies must embrace “a certain degree of eco-dictatorship,”corporate-state tyranny and “top-down authoritarianism.” But in exchange, they will reap huge profits by disrupting access to reliable energy and reducing middle and working-class living standards, in the name of climate.
The radical left routinely employs eco-hysteria and Nazi analogies to deflect attention from the horrific disease and death tolls they have inflicted on Third World “people of color,” by denying them access to reliable energy, spatial insect repellants, and modern farming technologies...
