The FBI Finally Emailed Field Agents—12 Minutes Before Flight 11 Hit the Tower
"The FBI sent a report to and briefed the local FAA office in Minneapolis of a potential threat of hijacking of large airliners (specifically Boeing 747's) based upon the information gleaned from Zacarias Moussaoui.
The briefing and report, based upon the latest facts of the investigation, was sent on September 5.
...The report stated that though he had
  • paid for training in cash, the type of training he sought was not normally given to airline pilots, and that Moussaoui had no prior experience.
  • French authorities, the report said, stated that Moussaoui had radical Islamic fundamentalist beliefs and he had recruited a person to join the jihad against Russia in Chechnya.
  • It said the French described him as "full of hatred and intolerance and ... [that he was] considered to be potentially very dangerous because of his beliefs and the nature of his character."...
...There was practically no reaction from outside the Bureau
...There was an email exchange on September 10th between two FBI employees, one at headquarters and other in Minnesota.
"Very sorry that this matter was handled the way it was," the Washington agent said to her colleague, "but you fought the good fight. God Help [sic] us all if the next terrorist incident involves the same type of plane."...Read all.

Concerned parents delivered fiery monologues during a recent Natomas Unified School District meeting in Sacramento, California. Many of the parents present at the meeting demanded accountability for the "Antifa teacher" situation involving Gabriel Gipe, the AP government teacher who said he had a mission of turning his students into communist "revolutionaries." Gipe was exposed by Project Veritas, which released an undercover video of the high school teacher admitting, "I have 180 days to turn [students] into revolutionaries."

How Adults Can Discover What Schools Are Really Teaching Kids | Intellectual Takeout

"Homeschoolers are no strangers to questions concerning their decision to educate their children at home. Such a choice opens them up to inquiries on everything from their qualifications to whether their children will be socially well-adjusted.

Homeschool parents realize that such questions are natural and come with the territory. But according to a recent Washington Post article, there is one question which many homeschoolers are never asked, but should be. Homeschool mom Sarah Bradley explains:

What I have a harder time understanding is why so few people think to ask the one question that would address most of their concerns and satisfy nearly all of their curiosity about our choice to home-school: “What are you learning about?”

Notice that I said “What are you learning about?” rather than “What are you teaching your son?” There’s a big difference, and it lies at the heart of our decision to home-school.”...

... Think about it.
The first question almost any adult asks a child is, “What grade are you in?”
Doing so trains a child to think narrowly, give a scripted answer, and classify themselves as a part of a large group of similarly conditioned individuals.
  • On the other hand, asking a child to explain what they are learning in school immediately pulls them out of a narrow-minded mental prison.
They can no longer hide in safety as another member of the herd or offer a canned response.
Instead, they must stand out as an individual, think for themselves, verbalize the unique thoughts that are floating in their brains, and engage in discussion about these thoughts...Read all!

U.S. officials in the United Arab Emirates and Wisconsin have noted multiple instances of Afghan girls being presented to authorities as the "wives" of significantly older men, the outlet reported.

60 Minutes: This Happened Before, They Lied & Mary Tyler Moore Said 'No'...

"This malaise feels different."

Instapundit-This malaise feels different.

JAMES LILEKS’ WEDNESDAY REVIEW OF MODERN THOUGHT:

"The mood was jittery. No one knew what was coming, except that it seemed to be coming from two directions. The early days after Pearl were not a smoothly-run affair, an effortless tooling up...

I felt that same mood in youth, after Vietnam, when the country was seized by the idea that it couldn’t do anything, couldn’t make anything — and what we did make was bad, like our lousy cars...

This malaise feels different. Before, it seemed as if there were forces both vague and specific that caused our ills. History had turned against us.

Now, it feels entirely self-imposed by a class of managerial technocrats whose indifference is matched only by their incompetence, and a disconnected, destructive, frivolous intellectual class that looks daft and mad to the unwoke.

Read the whole thing.

UPDATE (FROM GLENN): The answer is purges. Our institutions need to be cleansed of the woke, the crazy, and the inept — but I repeat myself. This would have been gentler by far if Trump had been re-elected in 2020. It will be much less so whenever it comes now. And it will come.--Posted by

The left is, ALWAYS, lying to us AND to themselves!-----Rolling Stone 'Horse Dewormer' Hit-Piece Debunked After Hospital Says No Ivermectin Overdoses | ZeroHedge

Rolling Stone 'Horse Dewormer' Hit-Piece Debunked After Hospital Says No Ivermectin Overdoses | ZeroHedge
"After Joe Rogan announced that he'd kicked Covid in just a few days using a cocktail of drugs, including Ivermectin - an anti-parasitic prescribed for humans for over 35 years, with over 4 billion doses administered (and most recently as a Covid-19 treatment), the left quickly started mocking Rogan for having taken a 'horse dewormer' due to its dual use in livestock.
Rolling Stone's Jon Blistein led the charge:

On Friday, Rolling Stone's Peter Wade took another stab - publishing a hit piece claiming that Oklahoma ERs were overflowing with people 'overdosing on horse dewormer.'
It was suspect from the beginning.
The report, sourced to local Oaklahoma outlet KFOR's Katelyn Ogle, cites Oklahoma ER doctor Dr. Jason McElyea - who claimed that people overdosing on ivermectin horse dewormer are causing emergency rooms to be "so backed up that gunshot victims were having hard times getting" access to health facilities.

As people take the drug, McElyea said patients have arrived at hospitals with negative reactions like nausea, vomiting, muscle aches, and cramping — or even loss of sight.
The scariest one that I’ve heard of and seen is people coming in with vision loss,” the doctor said. -Rolling Stone

Except, the article provided zero evidence for McElyea's claims, causing people to start asking questions.

Two utterly fascinating facts about COVID - American Thinker
"...Now, back to Dr. Ioannidis's point that early intervention can help save even more lives.
Right now, the medical establishment is doing the equivalent of a doctor who, when he concludes that you are in the early stages of a sinus infection, sends you home without any antibiotics and, instead, tells you to return when you're septic.
When it comes to COVID, we're all told to go home and get back to the doctor when we're on the verge of dying and interventional medicines will no longer work.
Meanwhile, almost the entire American establishment (Democrats, doctors, Hollywood stars) hectors everyone to get vaccinated.
The bias against early intervention is so strong that the same people lecturing people about vaccines are also assuring them that ivermectin, which has been touted as a possible treatment, is in fact an incredibly dangerous horse de-worming medicine.
When word got out that Joe Rogan treated his COVID with ivermectin (as well as hydroxychloroquine), the condescending sneering began:
...In fact, the CDC, beloved of the American left, strongly recommends ivermectin for third-world refugees heading to America carrying inside of them a host of parasites (and yes, the image is horrible but the highlights will give you an insight into how often ivermectin is mentioned)...
Just remember: Ivermectin is such a miracle drug that it won the Nobel Prize...Read all.

Jen Psaki: 'It Was a Private Phone Call' - Louder With Crowder

Stop me if you heard this one before. The president of the United States had a phone call with a foreign world leader. The transcript was leaked to the press. In that transcript, the president of the United States pressured the world leader into saying something regardless of whether it was true or not. That president is ... Joe "I Just Pooped" Biden? Maybe. According to his spokesoulessginger Jen Psaki, it was a private conversation. "What if Trump did it?" is an implied question in most of what we say about Biden. This is the first time we KNOW FOR A FACT what would happen.

It IS who they are!

No, Texas's New Law Does Not Ban Abortions - Or Even A Majority Of Them
"After the Supreme Court declined the ACLU’s request to block SB8, the new Texas law, which bans abortion after a baby’s heartbeat is detected, went into effect in the state immediately.
Almost predictably, the left went into a total meltdown, suggesting that this was an all-out ban on abortions, which it very much isn’t.

In fact, the vast majority of abortions occur within the first 10 weeks of pregnancy, and a plurality within the first six weeks...

Instead of the left informing women of their “rights” within the bounds of the new law, the left’s disingenuous talking point makes it seem like they have none at all – even while, sadly, it appears that the majority of abortions will be able to legally continue...Read all!

SCOTUS Lets Texas Six Week Abortion Ban Stand

In a pro-life victory, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled 5-4 on Wednesday not to block the new Texas law banning most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy while legal challenges to that law proceed in lower courts. A narrow majority of justices held that the abortion-provider plaintiffs had failed to meet the high standard required for the Supreme Court to issue an injunction blocking a law before it goes into effect.

Republican Rep. Markwayne Mullin of Oklahoma defended his "rogue" mission to try to help American citizens leave Afghanistan and accused the Biden administration of standing in the way. "When I say that blood is on his hands, that means the President Biden's hands, I mean that with everything in my heart," said Mullin in an interview Friday with Bret Baier of Fox News.
