Douglas Andrews: Puppy Abuse: Your Taxpayer Dollars at Work | The Patriot Post
"...Fauci’s National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases “spent $1.68 million in taxpayer funds on drug tests involving 44 beagle puppies,” the letter reads.
According to the watchdog group, the otherwise healthy beagle puppies were
  • treated with an experimental medication before being
  • introduced to biting flies that were carrying a parasite known to be contagious to humans.
  • After having endured months of abuse — including the slitting of their vocal cords in order to keep them from barking out in pain —
  • the animals were killed.
...As it turns out, though, Fauci has been abusing animals for nearly 40 years
This experiment was one of countless tests on animals done over the decades with NIH and NIAID funding.
He’s doing so in the name of “science,” though, so be forewarned
As he says, “Attacks on me quite frankly are attacks on science.”...Read all.

We must end the culture of performative repentance--TaxProf Blog

TaxProf Blog The 2L At The Center Of The Yale Email Controversy: 'We Must End The Culture Of Performative Repentance'
"We must end the culture of performative repentance. ...
I don’t believe that the now-common ritual of compelled apology, complete with promises to “grow” and “do better” (their words, but ones I’m sure you’ve seen many times before) helps anyone, or is even intended to.
If we continue to indulge this culture of performative denunciation, the very idea of an apology will lose its meaning.
...Before they ever step inside a classroom to learn torts or contracts, first-year students are required to attend diversity and inclusion training which teaches us to see racism all around us in the form of microaggressions and implicit bias, prioritize lived experience, and engage in the confessional sacrament of acknowledging one’s privilege.
...Yale Law School goes further...calling people out means relentlessly demanding the offender admit fault and beg for forgiveness—as my experience shows, this pressure comes from students and administrators alike...Much here, with links. Read all.

Watch: Joe Biden Praises Governor He Once Accused of Racism - Louder With Crowder

Joe Biden took time away from being a horrible president to campaign for Terry McAullife in Virginia. It seems like an odd decision since Terry is on record saying how unpopular and unhelpful Biden is. But it's a week until election day and "The Macker" is close to losing the governor's race to Glenn Youngkin. He's desperate, so he had them wake up Joe and drive him to a rally. Once there, Biden was happy to give a shout out to his "pal," current Democrat Governor Ralph Northam. The same Northam he once accused of racism when it was discovered Northam used to like running around in blackface. Biden may have forgotten. We're lucky he remembers his pants. Here's a reminder.

Wisconsin Sheriff's Investigation: Election Laws Not Just Broken but 'Shattered' During 2020 Election
  • Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmaling announced today the results of an investigation into election law problems in Racine County and Wisconsin.
  • “Election statute was in fact not just broken, but shattered by members of the Wisconsin Elections Commission,” Schmaling said.
"Schmaling and Sgt. Michael Luell, who led the investigation, said that they determined that eight people were living at the Ridgewood Care Center who had diminished capacity and who couldn’t even recognize family members at the Ridgewood Care Center had nonetheless voted by mail-in ballots.
...They claimed the Wisconsin Elections Commission broke the law when it told towns that they didn’t have to follow state law requiring “Special Voting Deputies” to go into the nursing homes to ensure that those who wanted to vote could vote...which the RCSO alleges is illegal and should be considered “election fraud” under Wisconsin statute...Read all.

There’s No ‘Supply-Chain Shortage,’ Or Inflation. There’s Just Central Planning
  • ...Adam Smith’s The Wealth of Nations...Smith wrote about a pin factory, and the then remarkable truth that one man in the factory working alone could maybe – maybe – produce one pin each day. But several men working together could produce tens of thousands.
Work divided is what enables the very work specialization that drives enormous productivity.
...President Biden wants to do in order to get “supply” back on the market with an eye on replenishing U.S. retail shelves that are increasingly bare.
He’s decreed 24-hour port operations!
Yes, thanks to the 46th president we now know what held the Soviets back, and ultimately destroyed the Soviet Union: their ports weren’t open long enough; thus the shortages of everything…
...who was talking about supply-chain shortages or the impossibility that is demand-driven inflation in early 2020?
Very few were, and that’s because the U.S. economy was largely free then.
At which point politicians panicked.
And in panicking, they imposed a rather draconian form of command-and-control on the U.S. economy...Read all.

Doctor on FDA panel says only way to learn about COVID vaccine effects in children is to 'start giving it' - TheBlaze

In fact, according to Rubin, the vaccine should be approved in spite of the unknown, for administering the vaccine is the only way possible to learn of potential side effects. "It really is going to be a question of what the prevailing conditions are," Rubin said. "But we're never going to learn about how safe this vaccine is unless we start giving it. That's just the way it goes."

Email Shows Biden Ordered Afghanistan Evacuation Flights Be Filled With Unvetted Refugees

Hawley, who says he obtained the email through a U.S. official who was outraged by the Biden administration's failure to vet Afghan refugees flown into America, published the email Tuesday afternoon on Twitter. Hawley maintains that Afghan evacuees were not throughly screened with intensive interviews before they arrived in the United States.

"This email was shared [with] me by an American official present in Afghanistan during the evacuation who was shocked by administration's failure to vet Afghans before they were evacuated," Hawley wrote. "Email details orders from Joe Biden to fill up the planes—even without vetting."

Nobel Prize Awarded for the Worst Climate Model | RealClearPolicy
"Given the persistent headlines about climate change over the years, it’s surprising how long it took the Nobel Committee to award the Physics prize to a climate modeler, which finally occurred earlier this month.
Indeed, Syukuro Manabe has been a pioneer in the development of so-called general circulation climate models (GCMs) and more comprehensive Earth System Models (ESMs).
...What Manabe did was to modify early global weather forecasting models...
...And, after many modifications and renditions, it is also the most incorrect of all the world’s GCMs at altitude over the vast tropics of the planet.
...Following Manabe, vast numbers of modelling centers popped up, mushrooms fertilized by public — and only public — money.
...At its worst, the GFDL model is predicting approximately five times as much warming as has been observed since the upper-atmospheric data became comprehensive in 1979...Read all.

The Left-Wing Bias in Economics Textbooks - El American
  • Academia is largely a left-wing bubble, full of people who teach because they can succeed at nothing else--LAWRENCE W. REED
“Economic illiteracy is dangerous,” warns economist Todd Buchholz.
“I can ride on a roller coaster without understanding centrifugal force… Physics can protect me, whether I believe it or not.
But if I ignore basic economics, I could go broke.
And if a country ignores basic economics, it could go bankrupt.”
...Most textbooks are written by academics, and that’s a big part of the problem.
Academia is largely a left-wing bubble, full of people who teach because they can succeed at nothing else.
...Perhaps economic texts need to come with warning labels.

'Greatest correction in the history of journalism!': Donald Trump Jr. hails WaPo after it says crowd at September speech was chanting 'F*** Joe Biden!' not 'Let's Go Brandon' - TheBlaze

Donald Trump Jr. is hailing a correction from the Washington Post after the outlet said it had inaccurately reported that a crowd chanted "Let's go Brandon" at a Trump Jr. speech last month in Georgia. The crowd had actually chanted "F*** Joe Biden!," according to the Post. "Correction: A previous version of this article incorrectly said a crowd broke into a "Let's go Brandon" chant during a Donald Trump Jr. speech in Georgia. The crowd broke into a "F--- Joe Biden!" chant at that speech in September. The error, which was inserted by an editor, has been corrected," the outlet explained.

Anthony Watts: Data Manipulation Shows Nonexistent Climate Emergency

"Anthony Watts, senior fellow for environment and climate at The Heartland Institute, takes the stage at the 14th International Conference on Climate Change to discuss how data is being manipulated to make temperatures higher than they appear.
Surface temperature stations that are clearly in areas that are artificially warmer than normal are having their data mixed in with proper data.
This causes temperatures to skew hot."
