"The CDC changed the definition of a vaccine and significantly altered our understanding of that term.
Was it politically motivated?
I don’t have a good explanation other than that.

The Biden administration seems to be covering its tracks.

As late as August 21, 2021, the CDC defined the term “vaccine” this way:

“A product that stimulates a person’s immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease, protecting the person from that disease. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections but can also be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.”

But on September 1, 2021, the definition was changed to read:

“A preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but some can be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose.”
The change is significant.

The words “immunity” and “protection” were dropped.
What makes these omissions significant is that it changes our understanding of the term vaccine as something prevents disease to something that may or may not protect or produce immunity...Read all.
