What do despots do when the economy sucks? War!-----Chinese Slowdown, Much More Than COVID - ZubuBrothers

Chinese Slowdown, Much More Than COVID - ZubuBrothers link
  • The most recent macroeconomic figures show that the Chinese slowdown is much more severe than expected and not only attributable to the covid-19 lockdowns.
"The lockdowns have an enormous impact.
26 of 31 China mainland provinces have rising covid cases and the fear of a Shanghai-style lockdown is enormous.
...We must remember that there are two ways in which the Chinese government “boosts” real GDP: By publishing a low inflation and GDP deflator figure and by massively increasing credit and infrastructure spending.
However, those two cannot disguise the importance of the weakening of the Chinese economy, because it is now structural.
The collapse of the real estate bubble is the biggest problem...Read all.

Anthony Fauci Speaks About Shanghai and Lockdowns - Louder With Crowder

Anthony Fauci Speaks About Shanghai and Lockdowns - Louder With Crowder: "[China's Approach was the strictest lockdown that you'd never be able to implement in the United States, although that prevents the spread of infection." Yes, I see. Fauci, the man our president blindly listens to, laments that what China is doing could "never" happen here. Though, it's effective. "Remember early on they were saying, and I think accurately, that they were doing better than almost anybody else but a lockdown has its consequences." Fauci still thinks China got it right on the pandemic.

Easter Egg Hunts and Deluded Political Ideologies - Intellectual Takeout

Easter Egg Hunts and Deluded Political Ideologies - Intellectual Takeout  link
"...Last Saturday, my husband and I took our four-year-old daughter and two-year-old son to an Easter egg hunt sponsored by a local school.
To our amazement, the kids had to hand all the eggs they’d found back to the organizer, who redistributed an equal number to everyone.
In other words, this was a Communist Easter egg hunt!
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs,” never felt so real.
  • The worst part was that my four-year-old was already spontaneously sharing her eggs with her little brother. He was too small to get any of his own. But she loves him.
  • And then her selflessness was derailed by coerced sharing. Moreover, she’d been targeting the pink eggs when she was searching. In the centralized redistribution, she only got blue ones. She complained for hours afterward.
While I’m sad for her, I’m also glad her first significant experience with Communism was negative.
If she ever flirts with the ideology when she’s older, I’ll remind her of this day..."

  • If true, the Biden team's reported grovelling to Tehran is beyond shocking
"I have written many times — as here, here, and here — about the astonishing desperation of the Biden administration to make a deal with Iran over its nuclear programme.
...The Biden administration was ready to de-list the IRGC if Iran would agree not to target Americans implicated in the killing of IRGC-Quds Force commander Qasem Soleimani by a US armed drone in January 2020.
...“That proposal has been rejected by the Iranians. Iran has come up with a counterproposal that the US is now considering”.

Having reviewed all 10,903 such certificates, Greg’s analysis supports the conclusion that the vast majority of Minnesotans was not at serious risk of death from COVID-19 and that the campaign of fear and intimidation was simply wrong.

Greg’s viral Alpha News column setting forth his analysis is “Who died of COVID-19 in Minnesota?”

Does Joe Biden need to eat a Snickers or is he just OLD? - TheBlaze

According to Joe Biden, Putin's invasion of Ukraine has driven up gas prices and food prices worldwide. The president claims that 70 percent of the increase in inflation was the consequence of Putin's price hike because of the impact on oil prices. However, the notable thing about Biden's speech is less about the words he said and more about how he said them.

The Other Fednapping Plot

Instapundit--The Other Fednapping Plo link

JULIE KELLY: The same FBI operation that ginned up the phony kidnapping plot in Michigan also tried to coax a Virginia man to participate in a similar scheme against Governor Ralph Northam.

Defense attorneys successfully argued that multiple FBI agents and informants attempted to induce the men to commit the crimes and blasted the government in closing arguments.

“That’s unacceptable in America,” Fox’s attorney, Christopher Gibbons, told the jury on April 1. “That’s not how it works. They don’t make terrorists so we can arrest them.”...

It’s pretty clear that the FBI was electioneering here, as it was in pushing the now-exploded Russian-collusion claims. If you’re looking for an actual insurrection, it occurred with in the FBI and the political class generally, who abused their power specifically to get rid of a democratically elected president in order to install one who was manifestly unqualified for the job.--Posted by
