"...CBS Sunday Morning program did with their “Suing over climate change: Taking fossil fuel companies to court” report...how enviro-activists indeed only have one viable-looking weapon in their arsenal when it comes to supporting their claim that fossil fuel companies deceived the public into thinking no harm was happening while ‘knowing’ their products were causing catastrophic man-caused global warming.
- The premise of CBS’ 6:45 minute segment was quite simple, featuring Charleston, South Carolina Mayor John Tecklenburg offering his views on sea level rise, and Connecticut Attorney General William Tong assuring the CBS audience that the lyin’ Exxon company knew in the early 1980s about the certainty of man-caused global warming.
- David Middleton, a guest post author at Anthony Watts’ WUWT website, has already dealt at quite some depth with the faults of Mayor Tecklenburg’s ‘science’ assertions. Attorney General Tong’s assertion of Exxon knowing in 1982 that “as the levels of carbon dioxide rise, the temperature of our atmosphere will rise” is contradicted by Exxon’s own 1982 document expressing sizable doubt about what computer models were predicting. That document also inconveniently dates to within two years of newspaper accounts speculating on the dim prospect of a new ice age, a larger science discussion which Exxon quite likely also knew about.,,Read all!

Federal judge throws out CDC's public transit mask mandate - TheBlaze:
"Because 'our system does not permit agencies to act unlawfully even in pursuit of desirable ends,' the Court declares unlawful and vacates the Mask Mandate," the judge wrote.
The decision comes just days after the CDC extended the mask mandate for an additional two weeks, citing concerns over rising coronavirus cases cased by the BA.2 Omicron subvariant of the virus. The mandate is now set to expire May 3.
The U.S. Has A Potemkin Government, And It's Not Just Joe Biden
The U.S. Has A Potemkin Government, And It's Not Just Joe Biden: link
- Joe Biden is a symbol of the entire federal government: Its dangerous incompetence, corruption, and utter disrespect for the American people and the rule of law.
That is precisely what the U.S. federal government has been now for many years.
...This is what you call a Potemkin Congress. We have a Potemkin president, a Potemkin Congress, and a partially Potemkin Supreme Court.

Can you think of any domain in which the federal government has been successful in the past, say, 20 years?
- Have we won any wars?
- Is our military even ready should China make a move?
- Is our nation in good economic health? Is our infrastructure strong, clean, and advanced?
- Are our education systems and families producing a majority of citizens who are competent and productive?
- Are our streets clean, lively, and safe?
- Or do we have record numbers of homeless people, record numbers of unparented children, record numbers of people on street and pharmaceutical drugs, record numbers of people failing to create or sustain families, and record numbers of barren, hysterical harpies and neurotic, emasculated men, with most being subsidized somehow by a shrinking number of people who work at legitimately productive and joyous vocations?
- Does our nation look thriving, vigorous, and advancing to you, or like essentially a people that has lost its will to live?..."

How Elon Musk went from Leftist HEARTTHROB to ENEMY - TheBlaze
How Elon Musk went from Leftist HEARTTHROB to ENEMY - TheBlaze:
Stu Burguiere, host of Stu Does America, asked his audience on Thursday to remember when Musk was the heartthrob of the left for many years and that he is serious about global warming. So serious that he built an entirely electric car company. He is building spaceships to escape the planet, in part because of global warming.
But this billionaire chose to act instead of sitting around crying about the environment on Twitter all day. And because he chose to take action, he became an enemy of the left. The left prefers to use Twitter as a political culture. Musk is trying to fix problems.

In one of his now-deleted videos, James tells other black folks that white people hate them, and that black people will be exterminated like the Jews were in Europe.

"I am posting this information on Patrick Lyoya, the man who was shot in the head and killed by a Grand Rapids Police officer.
Lyoya was pulled over according to media reports because the license plate didn’t match his vehicle, an indicator of a stolen vehicle according to police. The result was tragic.
The information you are about to read cost $10 and came from the Michigan State Police Internet Criminal Access Tool and it gives some insight to the question: Why did Patrick Lyoya flee the scene of a traffic stop and fight with a police officer?

The documents provided by the Michigan State Police and the state of Michigan’s Offender Tracking Information System say this:
- Lyoya was on probation until 2023 and had been arrested eight times since 2015. He was arrested and pled guilty to three different charges involving stolen cars.
- On May 14, 2016, he was arrested for felony motor vehicle unlawful driving away and pled guilty to the misdemeanor possession of a master key. A police officer explained to me that probably means he filed down a key of one Honda and the filed down key can often work on other Hondas – hence “master key.”
- Six days later, he was arrested for another felony receiving and concealing a motor vehicle and pled guilty to the misdemeanor unlawful use. (These technical definitions are very hard to understand.)
- In 2017, he was charged with the felony of stolen property receiving and concealing a motor vehicle. He pled guilty to misdemeanor motor vehicle.
- On April 4, 2017 he was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence, knowingly assaulting a pregnant individual. He pled guilty. The information on the police report gives no indication of the severity of the offense.
But in 2015, 2018 and 2021, Lyoya was charged with DWI offenses. According to the state, that is what landed him in prison. And he had pled guilty to numerous charges affiliated with car theft.
I don't know what the officer knew at the scene."

Biden's Family Scandal: Never Underestimate the Power of Blackmail link"The Hunter Biden coverup continues to unravel and, as it does, questions about the president's involvement become harder to dodge.
- Hunter's nefarious dealings with what at the time was China's largest energy company, CEFC, are well-documented, as are his questionable activities in Russia and Ukraine.
- The concept is known as influence peddling, a smarmy practice refined to an art form in "the swamp."
- Hunter Biden's "take" from Russia while his father was vice president was reportedly at least $3.5 million, for which he did nothing but be Joe Biden's son.
- Now, Joe Biden is president of the United States and is directly accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of war crimes and genocide in Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The possibility of blackmail is undeniable...Read all

Locked down Shanghai residents leap to their deaths, and Biden remains silent - TheBlaze:
On Thursday's program, Glenn details what's currently happening in Shanghai, China, where millions of residents have been forced into their homes — without food — due to strict COVID lockdown measures. People are suffering, but pets are also being thrown in trash cans and clubbed to death. Dogs and cats, in trash bags, set out on the curb like garbage.

Apparently, the FB gods would prefer to "disappear" their similarities to the murderous, public/private partnership promoter.
In a sad way this is progress. Last year, same quote got me 30 days in FB solitary.
